It’s great to see Womba and have a better understanding of the workings. She is surprisingly very spacious. Great vid and looking forward to the next one 👍
This was the first video I've seen of you, but I loved it :D I am acctually buying myself a sailboat in around the same this winter. So I took a lot of inspiration mate :D Thanks
Wow! One of the few boats which overs living space and not a dungeon. And that’s in the 30 foot class! 99% when I see a nice boat with beautiful lines the inside is a tight cave. I‘m honest, I’m not attracted by the lines, but the living space is great.
@@thenomadsailor2165 mate you’re literally one of the funniest people we’ve ever met, you’re a natural super star. I know this UA-cam bit is really hard to get going at first, but just keep grinding, always learning how to try and make the videos a bit more polished, and over time you just start to get that momentum. Best of luck, champ. We’re rooting for you! ⛵️🍻
Great boat. Great find for a budget liveaboard. 10' Beam and fully aft LARGE cockpit makes for a great single handed/couple liveaboard. Obviously its a "van life" not a full condo on the sea but great for a minimalist.
Fin keel. you can have that one... yep stay close to shore with this one... lot faster than full keel but not nearly as comfortable or safe in big wind and seas.
I feel the same. I looked at tons of boats to live on and ended up getting an old alberg 30. Saved money 17 years while I was in the army and I went with it cause it left me plenty of money for refit and travel. Looked at a island packet and liked it but the alberg was it for me
Nice tour and great way to see life. Say hello to Chasing Currents.from the West Midlands. Wildings Sailing ..their even older cats a 1975 Cherokee ketch rigged...cat. Theres a new couple just made the med via the Canals The Argonauts. They are all your sort of age and have a year or twos experience. With older boats and tight budgets 😉 Watch out for the magnetic knife bar it can mess with compasses and autopilot magnetic sensors for some folks.
Great sailboat ⛵️, enjoy to watching outside and inside. Very good equipped. Good to have a Drone and liferaft. Greetings from the Garden island Kauai, Hawaii !
I'm amazed how much room you've got woaw very nice liveaboard accommodation and comfort ,would you mind tell me How much you've payed ,my self looking for a fisher 30 missed one about a month a go in a immaculate condition, I love pilotehouse trawler motorsalors not fast 6,7 knots ,a ploder basically I don't mind that I'm not after speed and it's something so romantic and classic ,nostalgic of a different era that I love about them but when it comes to space it doesn't compare with you're moody 30 , anyway you can't have it all ,just subscribed to your channel and wish you fair winds and lots of adventures and good memories. All the best.
Love it! Great tour! Great boat! Given me some ideas. Love the cup holders on the helm. It sounds trivial but we are forever looking for somewhere to put our when sailing 😂❤️👍
New to your channel and so far I am really impressed with all your accomplishments. I’m so glad to see you taking all the safety precautions. Thank you so far for your excellent videos and explanations of so many things that are new to me. Also your location videos are fantastic. Wishing you many safe Miles on the oceans of the world
Hope you don't need to use the rescue raft either!Iam going to look out for your sailboat (presently in Malaga Spain),now I feel by your tour I am actually qualified to sail it away! Enjoy living your dream,& eating nachos!✌️
Hello, congratulations for your channel ! I watched most of your videos in the last 2 days. Came on them looking for tips on single handed sailing. Then what a shock while looking at your videos ! First: not the typical waspish blue eyed anglosaxon Second: no platitudes Third: a guy with crass sincerity who admits what 99% of us feel at times on boat but for some reason are very seldom seen on UA-cam, that you had little self confidence for your first solo docking for example. That's strenght. Fourth: a lot of humor.very funny You can watch 10 different angosaxon sailing UA-cam channels they all tend to look all very much the same, but yours just stands out. Keep the good work, sailing world so much need more people like you unless we all disappear out of inbreeding issues & taking ourselves and sailing sooo seriously. Cheers, Pierre from Belgium (I own a 1973 S&S Contessa 38 based in Normandy, France).
Hi Pierre, From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for your amazing kind words. Coming into this industry and community as a minority was daunting at first but its been such a pleasure and so welcoming its the best thing I ever did. It really means a lot that you like and follow my content I really enjoy making them so this really makes my day. So thanks again and fair winds and following seas!
Awesome brother I just started my UA-cam channel I’m 22 years old and bought my first sailboat a hunter sloop 31 foot to be my permanent home for now until I upgrade her possibly , i’m going to be circumtaating the world and traveling all over we should definitely sail some time together once i’ve outfitted my boat, gonna take about a year to save and get everything ready but if you are interested in planning to see Fiji, The Polynesian islands and the most beautiful blue waters you’ll ever see we should definitely get hook up fair winds my brother!
"Pulley Clam Cleat Thingy"
Spoken like a true sailor
Always great to see how sailors fit all their 'home' into a small space.
It’s great to see Womba and have a better understanding of the workings. She is surprisingly very spacious. Great vid and looking forward to the next one 👍
Thankyouuuu
that cockpit is palatial!! keep the raft out of the sun with some serious UV protection fabric, it will save it in the long run
I have a cover for it I just took it off the vid 🤙🏼🤙🏼✨
Also forgot to say the LightSabre!!! 😂 Brilliant, a must on a sailboat!!😂
This was the first video I've seen of you, but I loved it :D I am acctually buying myself a sailboat in around the same this winter. So I took a lot of inspiration mate :D Thanks
killin it! thanks.

Be prepared for all situations which is why it's important to keep a light saber on board. Never know when you might encounter a Sail Sith.
Great video and more than enough for one or two people x
Looking good, Matey! Sweet tour, love watching your adventure unfold 👌🏼⛵️
Ahh thanks so much!! that really means a lot coming from you guys ❤️❤️

Great boat. Great find for a budget liveaboard. 10' Beam and fully aft LARGE cockpit makes for a great single handed/couple liveaboard. Obviously its a "van life" not a full condo on the sea but great for a minimalist.
Exactly! I tell people it’s a camper van that floats haha !
Marvellous.

Perfect boat i love it
Very nice.
Did you ever stay in it in the UK over winter. How did you heater keep up and how much diesel did it take a day or hour to keep you warm?
Great tour! Home sweet home. All the best with your future adventures.😊
I’m going through your channel now for the first time you have some great content man love it. You are living the dream!
Welcome aboard! And thank you!
I bought a cheap $40 anchor wifi remote which connects to the windlass solenoid and works great. No long lines needed.
Loved the Womba tour! She’s a gem!
Thankyou!!
Lovely life you're making for yourself. How is the Moody 30 at anchor? Do you get a good night's sleep?
Thank you for this video. Very inspiring for a future wanne be minimalist sailor to be. I wish you fair winds and following seas.
Thank you! You too!
Nice tour and great way to see life.

Love the cinema!!!! It looks quite roomy :)
It’s perfect haha!
Great video!
Thanks!
Also how on earth does your boat seem to have more space for everything than mine? I got a nicholson 30, about the same beam and length.

Very impressive 👏
Lovely layout, seems to work well for you, except the bathroom 😅 do you have a shower in there too?
Ahh the shower! knew I was missing something!!! I use a pump
Shower on the swim platform 😂😂
I wondered the same, now I know.
Nice video tour bro, from an aspiring sailboat owner 👌🏼
Nice boat
Hope you don't need to use the rescue raft either!Iam going to look out for your sailboat (presently in Malaga Spain),now I feel by your tour I am actually qualified to sail it away! Enjoy living your dream,& eating nachos!✌️
Thankyou so much! I’ll be keeping an eye out for you as pass Malaga haha!
Sailing vids are like "And this is my pasta and noodles". And I'm like "WOOOOOW" :D
can you sleep with the auto piloting running?
16:04 How do you shower?
lets get some dates for a visit sorteed :)
You don’t need a date you just pull up anytime brother! ❤️
Dude get a bowroller installed for your windlass.
Thanks for the tip, im looking to get one made up in a few months.
could you not turn the salt water from the ocean into drinkable water?
Come on buddy. That mayonaise bottles empty. 🤣
Cost of living crisis! gotta get every last drop! haha!
Those knives will go flying like little rockets should the boat ever suffer a knockdown. Enough force to pierce any opposite bulkhead.

Have you ever considered taking on a paying student ? Is that even a thing ?
There are no kitchens on a boat, there are galleys.
