One of my favorite videos yet! Not having any idea of life on a boat, it's so much easier to envision what life is like! So much more storage than I imagined! What a great home!
What a beautiful boat! Good luck to you both. The only thing I worry about is if your on starboard tack and really crashing to weather which you will, if somebody gets thrown to port down below which they will, I can see bare hands and faces falling into those knives. Just saying. Above all safety first.
This is an astounding cute little boat with a surprising layout. The wood looks great and cosy is the word I would use if I were a tiny little girl, but I am a 2m nordic man and needed that in tripleXL. Thanks for the tour. Yt says 999 Abos - so I might be number 1000. Cheers.

I do love Cabo Rico's ... wonderful boats. I'm surprised you chose the V-Berth as your bedroom ... I've always thought that the aft cabin would be the most comfortable under sail and least noisy at anchor.
Thanks! We love Cabo Rico’s too👍🏻 We chose the v-berth as our main room because the aft cabin has the sunken cockpit that takes up a good portion of it and made us feel a bit more claustrophobic. We do however use the aft cabin while underway because it is more comfortable for one person and you can really tuck yourself in tight. When it’s really hot we actually tend to sleep separately which helps a lot.
Thank you! We love it too. The tea kettle boils super quickly and is pretty amazing. However, we are very thankful that it came with the boat because after doing some research, we found out it was a $300-$400 tea kettle! It is a Newey & Bloomer rapid boil kettle. You can check out their website here: neweybloomer.com
We measured last year for a new main, and I believe she’s 48.5ft. So somewhat of a short rig (great if you have to go down the ICW), but because of how long the boom is, she has a pretty large mainsail for the size boat.
@@dawnrodriguez9439 Hi guys! Yea.. but if a long story, but we felt we left it too late and the safest option was to head north for hurricane season. We also didn’t want to have to rush through the Bahamas.

Guys, please stop doing videos or stop showing the boat? The CR 34, is in my humble opinion, the finest boat in every way under 39’. It’s hard enough trying to find one…especially at a reasonable price without you advertising it. 😂😂😂
Perfect....you just gave the collective fleet a $10k value bump!
Cheers guys!
Thanks for the post on YTSC..

Thanks! Yes we got pretty lucky with the storage on this boat. We definitely looked at a few larger boats with less storage room.
Love the layout of this particular boat. Great blue water boats!
What a beautiful boat. I'm not familiar with the Cabo Rico design, but will be sure to keep them in mind during my current search for a cruising boat.
That interior joinery is world class. Great quality.

Thanks James! Not to worry, when underway, the knives get wrapped in a dish towel and stored in a drawer 👍🏻
lol its Gold! we are those people :-) - Good job guys!
Love the boat, so homey and cozy!
You just have to remember where you stored things on a busy boat thanks for the tour
Yes for sure! We have a log that we keep of where everything is, and the same with our food stores.
Beautiful sailboat have fun , maybeso I will get one next year looks seashape THANKS from Thailand .

Wow! Not exactly what I expected. Super nice below. Very cozy, beautiful and a nice layout. Love it 🥰
Thank you!! The layout really is great, and it surprised us too!

Thank you so much!
@@SailingSeaPearl I totally never expected a reply! Hope you two are good and thanks!

Omgosh! I love your boat! Great job guys.
Thank you, we love her too!
Beautiful home
Thank you!
that is a really nice boat, great size and layout, love the cockpit!!
I had not heard of the Cabo Rico...very nice boat in wonderful shape.
Thank you!
Beautiful boat -well done guys - how exciting for you.
Nice boat
Beautiful sailboat and well organized. What is the make and model of your dinghy davit?
Thank you! We are unsure of the make/model of the davits. But if we figure out, we will get back with you.
90% of this is focussed on the galley and other facilities in the cabin. The last 3 minutes finally shows us the deck, the real sailboat.
Soooo would ya like another video of more of the real sailboat? Also, Sea Pearl is currently on the market, in case you’re looking😉
dont know if that was on purpose but the horn sign 3:57
Totally by accident 🤷🏼♀️
Wonderful. Do you sleep fwd or aft. Looks like a comfy boat.
Thanks! We sleep forward. Unless we are doing overnight passages, then we sleep in the cockpit or in the aft cabin.
Love the galley! What is the make/brand of the tea kettle?
Thank you! We love it too. The tea kettle boils super quickly and is pretty amazing. How do you like the Isotherm refrigeration? Any suggestions? I need to replace my old system.
We loved it and it worked perfectly for what we needed. It was a low power draw and it gave us both freezer and refrigeration capabilities 👍🏻
Sweet boat. Do you know what her air draft is?
We measured last year for a new main, and I believe she’s 48.5ft. So somewhat of a short rig (great if you have to go down the ICW), but because of how long the boom is, she has a pretty large mainsail for the size boat.
@@SailingSeaPearl Thanks, that's in my spec. Air draft under 17 meters is what I need and a draft of less than 2 to go where I want to go.
ЛАЙК !!! 😊👍
Those big toe rails are known as raised bulwarks. Forgive me, I’m an old sailor. I agree, raised bulwarks are a major deck safety feature.
We agree. They are a grey safety feature👍🏻
I never thought of myself as being the jealous type until I watch your video.
👍👍👍
That boat looks so much larger than what the numbers suggest. Humongous amounts of storage space.
It really does have an amazing amount of storage for the size. We were quite shocked when we first came aboard!
Nice boat! What kind of boat is it exactly?
Thank you! It is a Cabo Rico 34
wait so is it 34 or 37 foot?
👍🌊⛵🎣💯
So where are you guys?
We filmed this while in New Smyrna, FL. We’re currently in South Carolina and working our way up the eastern US coast for the season.
@@SailingSeaPearl it's dawn and isaac btw 😊 thought you were headed to the Bahamas

what kind of boat is it? sorry, couldn't make out what you said.
Yes, I apologize. I spoke too quickly in that opening and have recently re-recorded it. Our boat is a Cabo Rico 34.
