- Made this just for the hell of it after watching the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
7/27/2020: So today I actually watched the official music video to this song for the first time. I was unaware of it until today. I'm kind of shocked at how many times I used the same scenes from the movie at the same time as the official video. Then again, I was just matching up story scenes to the lyrics and throwing in fight scenes during the chorus. The thing I like the most about my video is the break down with Splinter's astral projection explaining what Turtle Power is. - Розваги
To sum it all up, "Turtle Power" is essentially Heroism. What a noble message.
No stupid title screen, no stupid annotations, no watermarks, no links to some spam site, just a really well made music video by a turtles fan. Thanks man, this is great :) I could totally see this on MTV back in the early 90's.
LOL this comment is a true time capsule!
yes Dude!!!
Best ninja turtles movie hands down
Best movie ever
Old skool memories we bringin back today 😂
My favorite turtles movie!
Candy Love marry me?
When you stand for what you believe in...
...and find the strength to do what's right...
...That's Turtle Power!
tru tru
Indeed 👍😁👊.
"Death comes for us all Oruko Saki, but something much worse comes for you, for when you die, it will be... without honor".
Splinter
“Oops!”
Casey Jones
This was the first video I ever favorited on UA-cam when I joined in 2006 xD haha good times
yh
YOOOOO, i remember watching your mega tmnt video
The Best TMNT movie ever!
Ninjara930 agreed
Ninjara930
no doubt bro
YEAH! The 3rd one is definitely the best😃
Blaque Link 2nd
Ninjara930 In my opinion, it’s the only good one. I think this one was amazing. The 2nd was decent. The 3rd was awful. And the 2014 one was just plain terrible.
I give this song 9.95
agreed!!!
I see what you did there... Cowabunga!!!
And 100 to shell shock of 2007
Spunkadelicious!
the lighting in this movie was so "dark" and "grimy" love it
The one scene in this movie I still can't get over is how quickly the Foot Ninjas were able to clean out that delivery truck so quickly and without being seen or heard while the truck driver was making his delivery at the beginning of the movie was really impressive to say the least.
Ninja vanish!
I never got to see this movie in the movie theater. When I finally got my Doritos-stained fingers on the VHS tape, I watched it 12 times in a row. Good times!
Raphael was my favorite turtle when I first heard him scream damn at Casey Jones me and my sister thought he was cool
this is the song playing during the menu selection in TMNT: Out of the Shadows. Havent heard this since the early 90s, glad they brought it back. lol
I loved this song. First time when I heard this on the video game was a pleasant surprise.
ah, the year of '89. tis was a good year.
Oh the 90s good times to be a kid :-)
This was played during the end credits. Amazing
I love when he goes 'ooops' like it was an accident.
the first two movies rocked but the original was the bomb. this is my childhood right here baby
i just sat her and rapped along with the song....lol....and i remembered all the words...holy shit.....this movie hasta be over 20yrs old.lol....i remember this in school and im 35.....lol
Ya know I still find it funny that the actor who played Keno in The Secret of the Ooze was the same guy who did the martial arts stunts for Donatello in the first live action Ninja Turtles movie and the actor I'm referring to is Ernie Reyes Jr.
Judith Hoag was and will always be my favorite April O'Neil. Wished she had been in the second and third films.
"Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Donatello,
Make up the team with one other fellow
Raphael. He's the leader of the group
Transformed from the norm by the nuclear goop."
They kinda messed up here lol
Yeah he admitted it in an interview. All he had to work with was the script and Raph was the primary focus so he assumed he was the leader.
I was born the year this film was released, and I will never forget my early childhood memories of watching this film countless times on VHS in the early to mid 90's. It is an instant classic!!!
This movie never gets old. This song has good beat to it too!!
Man I miss the 90s 💚💚💚🥷🥷🥷🥷🐢🐢🐢🐢
I grew up with this classic This video goes to the song better than the actual video for the song.
Was singing along and when it was over I realized my buddy was on my 360 headset listening lol good times
Michael Bay does NOT have Turtle Power.
Deep Blue Here's hopping Seth Rogan Does.
¿Are you sure? ¡EJEM EJEM OUT OF THE SHADOWS ITS INCREDIBLE EJEM!
No, he doesn't
The creators of The “Rise”of the TMNT have less Turtle Power.
True he doesn't
The Foot hang out spot seemed like heaven to me at the time.
"Raphael - he's the leader of the group, transformed from the norm by the nuclear goop." It's not even accurate but it's such a great line that I still remember it today from listening to this soundtrack on repeat as a kid.
Not for *this* version of the Turtles...
This movie was so awesome. When I was a kid I got this and the NES video game after getting surgery. I was so happy ^_^
Splinter is the teacher, mentor, and father. I wouldn't really call him the "leader". Leonardo is the one who generally takes charge in whatever situation.
I love this movie, saw it at movies when first came out in the early 90's!!!!
Ralph is the leader emotionally.
Leo is the leader schematically.
Donny is the leader technologically.
Mikey is the leader comedically.
Splinter is the leader overall.
Chaos Magnifigo well said👍🏽.
Raph is the hot-head. The emotional one.
Leo is the LEADER.
Donny is the technician.
Mikey is the comedian.
And splinter is the trainer or sensei or father.
Everyone is not the leader.
Chaos Magnifigo dej
Synanon should total wine bar so Coco
Have you ever heard of the four quadrants of health? Physical, Mental, Social, and Spiritual. I bet you can guess which turtle fits which quadrant.
Supplemental Sense ah, I see you know your tvtrope judo well
OMG. That made the movie so much more kickass than it already was.
Best movie experience for me in the 90s! I was 12yo when I watched the movie in the theatres! Much better than going to the movies nowadays! 80s and 90s best times for movies!
about half way through watching this i was so drawn in that when a stupid pop up came in front of the turtles i literally yelled, "Dont Disrupt My TURTLES!!!!!!!!"
i grew up on this movie! i really appreciate the vid!
Ralph is the leader of the group? Hell yeah!
Perfect and timeless movies
So much heart.
Best representation of the Turtles ever
I think some people understate how good this movie is. Not to say that this is the greatest movie ever made, but it is definitely great considering it’s budget and time of release.
I think the dark tone mixed with the light hearted humor from the turtles really compliment each other. The fight scenes were good especially considering that they are in turtle suits. The way it was shot to me was good. Only real weakness is at times you can tell it is low budgeted.
Reminds me of my childhood! Killer good song! Good synth voice!
These ninja turtles movies They were great, and still well remembered, by many, they were great and just the fact of how real they looked, and being the 90's for me personally there has been no other turtle movie that surpasses these already mentioned .. simply fabulous,
Yeah the first two movies were great. I only saw that third one one time. Never again lol
"COWABUNGA!!!"
"HAHAHAHA! I made a funny!"
Best song EVER
Yes! I was obsessed with this movie & song in the early 90s when I was 10-12 years old and listening to it now in 2019 I still am! Gives me goosebumps & makes me feel emotional.. God the nostalgia is hitting hard..
Beautiful synchronicity. Especially on the end fight.
i remember this song was big back then,.. even played it on the radio alot..
evil moves fast but good moves faster !! good lyric
Faster Than LIGHT!!! ;)
That was one of my childhood movies,I loved that movie a lot, & I still do.I loved the new version. Mikey was my favorite,he was too funny.
When You stand for what you believe in, and find the strength to do what's right. That's turtle power
I saw this in the theaters at age 9 or so. Man, to this day, I still love this movie. It was probably the first "dark" hero movie made besides maybe Batman at that time. And Casey Jones was the shit!
Brings back memories
I still have this soundtrack on cassette too. haha
The best kids movie of all time. They came as close to the line as you possibly could.
2:56
It's really hilarious how right there as they're all listening to Michaelangelo's impressions of famous movie characters as Donatello is drinking a soda right there as the way his upper lip is curling up like that.
Leonardo was the leader in the cartoon. However Raphael gets a lot more screentime in the movie and is therefore considered the leader of the group for the purpose of the movie/song.
Raphael may not be the leader of the group but he is certainly the leader of his own group
The TMNTs are unstoppable!
TMNT rocks! I still own these movies, and I have the 3rd one too, when they get transported back into ancient Japan. I love these movies! Luckily my VCR still works! Oh and Donnie and Mikey are my faves!
I haven’t felt real TURTLE POWER in about 30 years!!!
I was 13 when this came out, loved it ! Seems so long ago, but then again it seems like yesterday. The years just seem to fly by so quick these days.
Man this song was ahead of it's time this beat still goes hard
Highly recommend finding the MP3/FLAC to this track. The recording quality is insane.
I always thought this was Heavy D singing this
A lot of good music back in the 90's...i was born in 1997
Me & my brother always just LOVED this tmnt movie back in that day!😄
FACT
this is the menu music for Out Of The Shadows! love it
this may not be the official video, but it is the true video.
This is awesome man. You don't know how much I like the turtles. This is an awesome tribute to the first movie. 5/5
I give it a 9.95. 😉
10/10
These fight scenes are funny 😂
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
Heroes in a half-shell!
Turtle Power!
This song is such a time capsule of the late 80’s early 90’s when the new jack swing sound was everywhere
F*** yeah. I memorized the beginning of this song after buying the movie when it first came out. This may be my favorite song.
Holy Crap i used to have this on tape back in the day. The Live action movie was very well done
For me Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-men, Batman and The Real Ghostbusters were the best shows when I was kid and luckily all 4 have aged very well.
A little smarter than their cartoon counterparts but still up for a couple of laughs from them. What I think their combo would have over the creatures in TMNT2 is that they would actually talk, to plot and scheme. No, "ma ma". I mean actually going up to Shredder and saying, "So, what next boss?" ect.
Here comes the nostalgia train
I love ninja turtles
I walked out to this for one of my fights about 10 years ago. It rocked the crowd.
Did you win the fight?
Siiiccckkkk!
Listening to the song more closely, I actually believe that the rather unorganized lyrics are saying...Splinter is the teacher. So that would imply that "they" are the students, the "they" being Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello, and let's not forget Raphael. He (Splinter) is the leader of the group (who were) transformed from the norm by the nuclear goop. I hope that's what he was trying to say. I've been baffled with what I thought was an error when i was five...
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie to bad that we will not have a movie like this again
When you realize this is better than any new hip hop
the world trade center at the start... 7 years already...
i luv this song i putting this to my mp3
this is my shit on the real i love the orignal turtles
He-Man, TMNT, The Real Ghostbusters, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Batman, Super Mario Bros., and The Gargoyles were my childhood. Although for more kids comedy stuff I also liked The Muppets, Pee-Wee Herman, Ernest P. Worrel, Sesame Street, and Looney Tunes.
I'm soooo excited for the next TMNT movie. I heard it was live action.... .sweetness
WHAAAT?! Shredder is Uncle Phil?!?? :O
Wow...I never would have guessed that
I love TMNT and I love this song!!! I was always wanting to here it but never thought to search it on youtube, haha dumb me. But I'm happy I did because this is just an awesome video.
Those dislikes are from the Shredder and the Foot.
"raphael, hes the leader of the team" um?
The rapper didn't know source material!
He was the leader in the movies
@@trike018 which movies were you watching??? I know he's leader in Rise but not in these movies
Um, how many of the series/movies did you see? Leo was stated the leader in almost all of them!
wooooww man that's so old i really liked this movie "^^ i think i was 5 when i saw it for the first time and i still have it recorded on a video cassete.
*sigh* good old times....
I finally find the complete LP version of this song! Thanks! 😃
Nice editing. I like this more than the actual music video for the song.
Right on.
@michelrpg Well sounds like your right about the age thing because as a kid I was only vaugely aware of Thundercats but never actually watched. My two older brothers knew about and use to love it but I'm afriad it was just before my time.
You know what I would like to see is a video with this song for all the live action films of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles all in the same video now that would be awesome to watch another video tribute to the Heroes on the Half Shell 'TURTLE POWER' 'COWABUNGA' 'MAN I LOVE BEING A TURTLE'.
Not gonna happen, at least not by me. I deny the existence of all TMNT live action films except for the 1990 film.
echoing from my twin 15's
I feel the power
