48 and my little brother and I watched this on VHS 📼 (yes we had it on VHS)and we'd watch the movie almost as often as someone playing their favorite song. It became quite the hangout backdrop in the movie/game 🎮 room, the den where we also had our Nintendo upstairs. Given the scene this song was played in, the hang out place of the foot clan warehouse *would have hit the spot* if it was a normal ,not criminal hangout warehouse but we'd deem it cool under normal and good circumstances if it were to be possible. It would be cool to hang out and party under those circumstances. My little brother even made the comment about would like to have been in the environment if they were normal not criminal kids. I of course replied in all about me sharing in the same sentiment.
I was 7 when I saw this scene and the kid smoking the cigar playing pool scared me I thought it was like treasure island wit the kids turning into donkeys

I was 8 when my mother took me to see The TMNT movie (1990) in the movie theatre. I waited in eager anticipation with my Ninja Turtles coloring book and saw the movie. It was everything I dreamed it would be: badass turtles coming out of the shadows, cursing, actual costumes (instead of CGI), the characters of shredder, splinter, and the foot looking perfect, and awesome action scenes. This will stay in my heart forever.
I saw it in theater, and I remember when Casey's theme played and he came into April's basement, the audience literally cheered. That's the first time I felt that real sense of connection with a fan community; we knew Casey from the Mirage comics, and the movie and Elias Koteas did him justice.

The first rap I ever heard by MC Hammer, and still one of my favourites! Actually, the soundtrack was pretty solid for what was essentially a summer movie for preteens, if I recall. Shredder's Suite was a fantastic bit of atmospheric electronica!
My cousin’s boyfriend burned his first album on a tape for me, I was maybe 7? Idk but I loved that whole album so much and this song is amazing! MC Hammer is still great to this day!
If you didn't want to hang out in The Shredder's warehouse base, you're lying. Skate Ramps, Guitars, Smokes, Bangin' music and free Walkmans, I'm down...
This scene was amazing. What an intro to the world the "Rejects" lived in. When the song starts it instantly set the mood and you cant help but feel sucked in. Also young Sam Rockwell's speech. Simply amazing movie
Some of my favorite quotes from Raphael in this movie were in the first 15 minutes of the whole show: *whispering under a sewer lid* “damn” *staring at his lonely sai in the sewer snappin* “Dayum!” *after taking a beating from Casey Jones under a New York nighttime backdrop* “DAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMNNNNNN!!!!!!” He just seriously had all the best lines man
I feel like this song really embodies the turtles work ethic. "This is what they do" - they are hardworking at fighting crime and simply see it as part of themselves not seeking reward for it, but having fun while they do it, and doing it with style.
Here we are, ladies and gents... We, the OG’s of TMNT doing whatever we want to do at the East Warehouse on Lairdman Island... because... THIS IS WHAT WE DO!!! 😎 #TMNT1990

First one ain't so bad, second one...well...yeah, it's bad (Even thought it's still TMNT, so it's at least got that). Still, neither hold a CANDLE to the original trilogy, the costumes, none of it.
This song was burned into my mind and became an instant fan. I was six years old and we just bought this movie on VHS! I visited with Raph while my brother was with Leo, this scene was playing in the background on the T.V.s in the store (49 and more, long since gone). If I could only pick 3 movies to watch for the rest of my life, this one is #2 for the soundtrack alone! Great scene.

As I tried to dry then I ripped them both. I was so angry. Needless to say, the ticket lady accepted the tickets and boy, the move was absolutely awesome! Leo was always my favorite. Good times. I fucking loved this movie as a kid. I must have worn out my VHS copy of it.

Best TMNT movie hands down...it was based on the original 1984 comic, which made it darker.
Michael Bay, Jonathan Liebesmann & other writers of the 2014 movie should've been taking notes.
Yeah, but then people went to complain that it was too dark and violent, resulting in disappointing sequels :(
