I don't care how cheesy the jokes were or how crazy the costumes are, this movie is GOLD and it will always be one of my favorite childhood movies!️🔥
I mean, it's total shit but.. Yeah. You are right.
Hell yeah 👍👍👍

I second that 💪🏾🔥
Well, I guess it's a matter of opinion, like some people think the holocaust was a good thing and such...
"Lyrics... fill in the gap..."
Truly a fucking poet.
For real
😆
I think Frank intended Ice to freestyle a bar, make something fit. Instead he took it at face value. 😂
@@RecluseBootsy same. I've always thought that he wrote that as "eh I'll think of something later" and then forgot and was just like "fuck it we're recording."
@@squallsrapture precisely my same thought process. Like being on set and hearing the playback and Frank goes "did he really.... whatever, everybody's here already, keep the camera rolling."
Seeing Vanilla Ice perform this live in 2003-2004 at my small university was one of the best nights of my life...
TCU?
He about to do a 90s show here in a few months with a bunch of other 90s artists, and I'm praying he does this song lol
I would have gone MENTAL.
I would have gone MENTAL.
No way!!! So cool!
I remember seeing this in the theater. We were so broke. My big brother and I had to walk home so far after the movie. I started crying cuz my feet hurt and I asked him why he wasn’t tired. He said he just kept singing “go ninja go ninja go”. We sang that the whole way home.
Maybe becaaause....he was a guy and could handle it.......
Maybe you were poor then, but now youre rich in memories that values gold.

If I listen to this song on a Sony Walkman while eating pizza pops and wearing Reebok pumps, I may open up a portal to the 90s.

So glad they put this song into the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem movie I was going nuts!
Omg I don’t remember that part 😭
I must’ve recognized it too but I just don’t remember that bit
Did they really? that's so sick, i didn't see the movie but i heard it was good
It’s a brief cameo. When they start their first fight it plays through the radio when they crash through the car ☠️
@@GIRTHYANDITCURVES yep gotta love it when they throw in a little bit of fan service for people like us who grew up with this version of the turtles
This song still remains as epic as it was in 1991.

Frank Miller truly is a legend for writing such a memorable song
Pretty certain Miller received an uncredited assist from the noted lyricist Rich Evans...
RLM ? 🤣🤣🙌
At least it proves he has an (unironic)sense of humour, unlike Alan Moore😆
@@ArachKing I used to think Alan Moore was a god ( to a certain point he is) but damn chill don't take yourself so seriously lmao

I just one thing to say: I LOVE BEING A TURTLE!!!!!!!!
- Michelangelo
They said that line after this scene, so it fits.
@Prince STFU
Cowabunga dude!
Hell yeah love being a turtle!
I love ice, baby
25 years ago this was the coolest thing on the planet to 10 year old me
Wow, you were 10, I was only 4 and my only sister/sibling was born!!! I grew up with ninja turtles and they are my childhood heroes!!!
well mine too i was 6 i think when the cartoon started they were why i started taking Kenpo as a kid (and it's 27 years now)
i was negative 2 years old when this came out, and i still consider this one of the most important and awesome moments in the entire franchise
Great video thanks
Still fucking cool dude never forget the old songs paved the way for today's artist maybe not this song but this is history
If you wasn't a kid in the 90s you probably wouldn't understand but if I'm keeping it real this song was perfect for that movie. Ice killed it. If fit with the scene and was super catchy. I randomly, just now thought of this song, don't know why, and came here looking for it. Watched this video and got teleported back in time as if I was watching it for the 1st time.
When I was a kid I had a crush on Ice.
I was born in 2010 and grew up with a lot 90s movies like these. one of my childhood favs
Little known fact: the lyrics were written by legendary comic book artist Frank Miller
While planning our wedding, the DJ for my wedding asked if there were any special songs the bride and groom wanted to play. My only request was this song. It was awesome
RIGHTEOUS! LOL
Now that's a request!
God bless you
Lol you're such a dork, but still pretty funny
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is anyone else impressed by 4 plus minutes of intense choreography?
Absolutely
lmfao incredible!!!!!
they dance like hillbillies
I got tired just watching them skip that long
TMNT 2 Secret of Ooze is my favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie! 30 years later I still love this song !!! GO NINJA GO!!
its the greatest! its so hard to turn others onto it because you have to sit through the crappy TMNT 1 first to get the epic backstory.
My favorite is 1..then 3... I disliked 2 though
Still can't believe Frank Miller wrote this.
My siblings and I couldn't get enough of this song when we were young. We drove our parents nuts with it. Still a fun jam to dance to. GO, NINJA! GO, NINJA! GO!
Filled the kids hearts with joy on all counts.. Jamming to the tunes, and also getting to drive the parents nuts while being good... LOL >:)

After watching this video's choreography, Its scary how closely Jim Carrey's impression of Vanilla Ice was on In Living Color
the head wobble. i immediately thought of jim carrey lol
For real! I love that clip! And his Snow impression for informer lol
OMG! ABSOLUTELY!!
As a matter of fact, when I watch Vanilla now, it feels like he is a Jim Carrey parody.
Haha, i was thinking the same thing
It almost felt like Ice was doing an Ace
It's hard to explain how excited I was when this movie came out in theaters as a kid. The first one was unbelievable. This one was a culmination of everything 90's. I don't think there will ever be a movie series like this one that I watched over and over and over again on VHS as a kid lol.
I literally watched these so much the tapes didnt work any more by the mid-late 90's lmfao
I was 5 or 6 when this movie came out. I remember it was so freakin busy. My dad took me, it must have been opening weekend or close to it because every seat was filled, and I remember halfway through the movie I had to pee real bad, and my dad looked at me and said, "really"....yep....thats having a kid sir...
I will say for myself - TMNT 1,2 and 3 + Power Rangers the movie + Batman 1 and Returns and Space Jam, then later in 98-99 Blade and Matrix. I didnt watch movies like Fight Club in that time, they were more for adult audience, so i watched them later
I was in fifth grade when this came out and the kids were always reciting this. I still enjoy it, it’s a guilty pleasure.
I don't think there will be another series that comes out on VHS. Also, unless you can reverse time, you'll never be able to watch anything over and over as a kid soooo...
Turtle Power🐢🐢🐢🐢🥷⚔️!!!!! (2023)
That’s right, this song made a comeback in Mutant Mayhem😌🎊🥳
Sure Vanilla Ice got clowned for being a sell out back in the day....

Dude when rappers actually danced in their own vids instead of having girls twerking

Dang right I had all the 3 Star Wars movies on VHS.
I used to dance to the end of all of the movies with my brother and sister in our living room. The credits music was my jam. I was born in 87 so I was 4 my brother was 7 and my sister was 2. true, vanilla ice and mc hammer were ahead of the times in what they did, now every rapper sells themselves to corporate america to get rich, shoe deals, movie voiceovers, sprite commercials, clothing lines etc.
