    It's great to watch your videos like this because as a beginner you keep falling all the time and get frustrated. But it's reassuring to see more experienced riders trying new things and also falling. Makes me want to keep going and not let a small tumble deter me!

    If you could help me out that would be really great.
    So the board I have been using is really small (I weigh 110 and it is a 138cm board) and my dad gave me his burton royal board the he rode once and it is a 156 (meant for 130-170). Would it be safe for me to ride it now? I am able to do black diamonds with no trouble and love powder and park by the way. Please help.

    So how much does the pow actually cushion your drop and how deep does it need to be? I've watched so many free-ride snowboard movies and drop offs always look hectic, the explosion of snow on the landing looks like it cushions you but it still looks so dangerous! I'm worried about blowing out a knee or ankle if I land too heavy.....
    I can handle doing a drop off/drop in on a sloped landing with firm snow because the way you meet the landing looks/feels more natural. But a flat landing even in deep pow looks brutal.
    And does this same "heavy on the back foot" landing technique work when trying to hit consecutive drops or pillows?

    Hey Kevin, love your videos
    I have a question and if you've answered it on another video I might have missed let me know
    I've started snowboarding recently and am progressing fairly well, although when I go rent my board the rental guys always ask me how to set up my board and bindings? They ask if " 9 o clock or do I want it more aggressive"
    Didn't know what it meant and was wondering if you could touch up on it or give some insight on what's the best way to set up a board for beginners
    Thanks again,
    -Carlos R from Colorado 👍🏼

    Hey kevin, I realy love your vids! I always want to go board when you upload something new. 16/17 is going to be my 3rd season of snowboarding and i finaly got myself a board and boots for Christmas! So i got myself the Capita DOA 2017 and the adidas superstar snowboard boots. I just wanted to ask if you have any suggestions on the binding ? I want to learn how to realy carve so a stiff binding would be great but I also want to learn some new butters and ride some pow if i find some .. Got any idea what could fit as a binding for my Goals this year?
    would love to get an response!

      If theres a rock you'll be able to see a raise in the snow. You just have to make sure you're only doing drops on days with plenty of powder that hasn't be blown out by other people dropping in the same spot.

    • @Left.Lane.Loiterer
      @Left.Lane.Loiterer 7 років тому +3
