Thanks, really good instructions! - I would love to have the whole route from step to patterns to song!
Thanks Jan! You can see how to save, edit, and erase songs here: ua-cam.com/video/c9Dst7hxuZM/v-deo.html
Thanks, well expand.
Good instructional 👍 interested to know what signal path & FX you're using outboard of the DB - sounds good!
Thanks for that!!
Thank you! I had been relying on prior knowledge and held pattern then save instead of the other way round🤬
thank you !!!!!!! desde argentina
Hi - great video! I’m also having a hard time figuring out why my tempo isn’t being saved...does it not store tempo information when saving pattern data?
"does it not store tempo information when saving pattern data?" Correct, it does not.
That was very informative. Thank you for the video. I recently purchased a drumbrute, and I was wondering if the midi control center could be used to delete all the factory drum patterns by chance? Thanks again.
I'm actually not sure but I don't think so...I avoid MIDI Control Center like plague since it seems very counterintuitive and I also don't use a computer in my studio. Fastest way to remove all the factory patterns would be to erase all 4 banks one-by-one. Just press “Erase” (Lots of buttons and pads will flash), press “Bank”, and then press the “Step 1” to erase bank 1…and then repeat that process to erase banks 2 through 4.
Awesome! Really appreciate your help.
@Synthlab how do I reload all my factory presets? I think I accidentally deleted them all..... the pads work but I can't hear any presets when I push play....its like the banks are completely empty.
Can we restore only one bank from the 4 available from a saved template? I want to maintain the 3 other banks.
Hi! Do you know if it is a similar process with the drumbrute Impact?
Well If you haven’t found your answer in a year hahah then yes it’s all the same besides some extra sounds and output options and the filter instead of distortion.
Thank’s for thé anecdotes haha
so if all the factory presets are deleted by accident I can reload them by usb & website?
When you save a patch, are you overwriting (losing) one of the factory patches?
Yes. I initially consolidated all the decent factory patches into one bank so that I could save them for reference, and then saved my own patterns into other banks. But then I just wiped the entire machine to give me a blank slate, which I think is a good way to go once you get comfortable with the capabilities of the Drumbrute.
Hey SynthLab, thanks for that, I totally read the manual wrong to save patterns..I'm half less frustrated now ;) have you worked out how to save songs because I can't do that either..sigh
Hi Kelly, I actually haven't used the Song feature at all as I really just manually cycle through patterns, but we may be able to do a video on that in the coming weeks. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hey Kelly, I just created a video for how to save songs on the Drumbrute...looks like the instructions
in the manual are incorrect. You can see the correct process here:

Hi, do you happen to know if you can save (and recall) a song from song mode? Thanks!
I just created a video for how to do that...looks like the instructions in the manual are incorrect. You can see the correct process here: ua-cam.com/video/c9Dst7hxuZM/v-deo.html
Great video, thank you for clarifying that.
Does Drumbrute not save the tempo to songs?
I've just saved Pattern and Song but when i turn it back on the tempo reverts to 120BPM
this might be a year too late:
it does save the tempo, your "Global BPM" might be switched on. Try pressing Shift+15 (in the Step Sequencer).
