Sound is widely improved, far better than the original drumbrute. More punchy BD for example. And the distorsion instead the very weak resonant filter is a great improvement. the Impact is sounding more modern and so more usable.
What are the main differences between this to the original brute other than losing the individual I/O’s? I’m loving this one by his video alone so far… :)
Can you add automation to it? Lets say i have a already made pattern and i want to change the decay (or any other parameter) over time, how does that work?
Hi, I just bought a new Arturia Drumbrute Impact and upon startup, I immediately noticed that a single tap on the pad produces multiple sound hits, sometimes double or triple. This happens with every pad. Is this normal? Or is there something wrong with my unit?
You demonstrated how to increate the steps from 16 up to 64, but how do you reduce the length back to 16 steps once you've increased it? The manual doesn't give directions on how to achieve this.
Although DrumBrute has a good sound, a 70 years young man like myself doesn't write music that uses those sounds. I still write and record 1970's style of ROCK. Any Suggestions? Thanks?
You can use this as a nifty sequencer going into a sampler (hard- or software) or some other device that has the sounds you like. The ultimate in flexibility 👍
Hello I just plugged it for the 1st time and I cannot managed to do anything but play a already recorded pattern. IT doesn’t play anything when I tape in the kick, snare 1... pads. I notice it is stuck with Solo and save button on. How can I play in the pads just like in the video ? What am I missing ?

sounds great and cheaper but still not good enough value. with the circuit i can sample any drums i want, but most of all have motion recording! i think the drumbrute sorely misses motion recording/sequencing. for being such a limited sounding device at 300 bucks you need more features to spice up the sound.

Arturia out of the dark and smashing it with this, great tool with some clever little sequencer tricks, get it into the shops asap

The Impact really is that simple to use. A no regret purchase -- Still a solid option,especially at the pricepoint. Works well with our JD-Xi,too.

It seems my shift button is permanently on !
can the presets be accidentally erased...? I can't find mine. I push play and nothing happens.
