@Arturia: Is it technically possible for the Drumbrutes to implement motion seqeunce recording with a Firmware update??? Would be a great addition so you can modify things like decay and pitch on these :) For sure the FM section on the Impact!

got it a few days ago...this is my first drum sequencer and I'm very happy with it!!!
it would be useful a "first step" function for patterns longer than 16 steps ;)

The drumbrutes can record fast drum rolls by step. Is it possible to do the same on the beastep pro with the last update ? Could you pleas explain how as when I try to record a drum roll it quantizes it to different steps instead and no fast rolls are possible to put by step. Thank you for your help.

You gotta be able to tune that cowbell, Arturia... Seriously, it's a pitched instrument. What the hell? And here the Cym Decay knob is just sitting there doing nothing on the cowbell layer. Seems a strange place to skimp out on what is already limited functionality. Too bad. Sounds pretty good otherwise. Cheers!

Well, it's not a deal-braker but IMHO the cowbell is a totally useless sound, specially without any modifier. Maybe some kind of tambourine or a rimshot would have been way more useful. Anyway, amazing machine, I'll surely get one.

A rimshot would have been a better choice for sure. That said, after watching the sonicstate review and seeing that roller strip behaving so erratically... Sufficed to say, all things considered, I will NOT be purchasing an Impact. You get what you pay for as they say... Cheers!

A cowbell is a cowbell. You can't tune a real cowbell, why would that be needed on a drumcomputer. lol

If I need to explain to you the difference between the atonal qualities of a real cowbell versus the perceivable pitch of a synthesized one, then this conversation is already a waste of time. Based on the tracks you've posted online, you seem to understand the benefit of tuning a synthesized kick drum, yet most "real" kick drums are also atonal. At any rate, I don't recall telling you not to buy a DrumBrute Impact, so if it suits your needs, go for it. Cheers!

If I can tune something then I do it, if I can't then fine. I also was happy when I just had a Minipops Junior for rhythm, it's not a deal breaker to have preset sounds on an analogue drum machine for me. As in this case of the cowbell just offering one distinct sound I view it as a character thing. Not being able to tune the cowbell gives it one distinct sound which will give a familiar feel to listeners becoming used to hearing this cowbell in tunes other people are going to make too. I like the way it sounds, and don't think it'll be much of an issue if the tuning is off key in the context of a song.

In real time - yes! Not automated movements however.

@Arturia Can't use roller function with enabled mute/solo mode. Pressing pad with roll buttons don't do rhe roll - its disabling mute/solo func.

Vegas mode, without the ability to switch off in stand alone mode, is the dumbest, most irritating idiocy I have ever seen. Might have been impressive in 1998. Now it is just really stupid. LED colours are not an incentive in 2023.
