This was a fun one! I have 5 essences verified by Kitchener himself, I met the man in person ❤ I would say don't underestimate the 10% those are the awesome details!
Topic suggestion for Gabrielle if she’s up for it: I am a long time glasses wearer and it just occurred to me that I have never heard/read any discussions about glasses and essences! Seems like choosing the right color and style would be super important considering it’s directly on your face, yet I don’t know how I would start evaluating glasses for my essence blend. Would love a video about this
Gaby, you look amazing. Your color analysis and essence blend have just elevated your look so much. And I really enjoyed Gizelle's story. I remember when she was exploring RNI in another group, and it looked good, but her story shows how there's a difference between "so close" and 'that's it!"
I love this video and as others pointed out I also noticed your glow up, Gaby, you're shining with your new essences from Andrea and your colour season :) Could we get an episode of style files but about your style journey and where you at right now? I think it would worth it, even if you feel like you're in the messy middle. Also I'm not familiar with the Sci-art system could you make a video about that one day? I loved the details you two shared today here, I want to learn more now and I'm also interested about your learning process like how did you pick this system what is in that makes it unique and why did you choose it, I think others would enjoy it too :)
Yes, I've been thinking about doing a video on my style pivots and where I'm at right now. I'll try to add that this fall. And I'll consider doing a blog post or video on Sci/Art, although my teacher Christine Scaman might be a better person to cover this. I'll reach out to her and ask!
@@Gabriellearrudadesignwould be awesome to have you and Christine have a chat about colour. You talking a bit about your journey (always love to hear how people discovered their answer) and Christine also explaining the system and more technical things.
Gabrielle, you look amazing! This is a very relatable and interesting topic! Thank you, and thank Gizelle. She looks great, as well! Congrats on your successful fashion journey! ❤️
The height thing in Kibbe is tough for those of us 5'4" -5'5" or slightly shorter. I know I am not Gamine. That leaves Romantic. I do have a large bust, but I do not have petite features & my waist to hip ratio is not big. I settled on Soft Natural since I had already figured out that soft tailoring worked for me & I had fairly square shoulders & a wide rib cage. A longer, unbroken vertical line looks best on me. Romantic lines aren't bad & I don't mind feminine touches like lace trim but full on "girlie" clothing is not me. I prefer darker, richer, earthy colors & neutrals to anything too light & bright (warm spring/warm autumn) & I still wear black but not as much if there is a better option. I avoid grey & cool, soft colors which look horrible on me. Pretty sure I am Natural/Romantic/Dramatic.
@Gabriellearrudadesign I think some might associate summer with" warm and sunny" but I think it's more like " the the saturation of sunlight at high noon" that reminds me of summer colors
LOVED THIS! I actually think when we have more essences it actually makes it harder to pinpoint, but once you crack that it makes such a difference!! For me I think I am about I 30% G 30% N 15% R 15% E 10%. Or at least that is the break down I use for the elements I see as suiting me etc. But to begin with I thought I was GND and also GRD/N. It is so confusing when we laser focus on one aspect of ourselves, we also become blind to who we are. The moment I knew I was onto something was my graduation. I felt like I incorporated all of my essences, and my photography looked at me strangely for a moment and was like ".....your outfit matches your face ?? does that make sense?" I am wondering though about consultations with Andrea, how much do they cost? I can't find any details online.
I’d looove to see this with a man, I’ve been in such a long journey to find a way to express myself through fashion and would love to hear from someone i can relate a bit more.

A super great video! I feel like I am a summer, but the clearer colors look harsh, most soft summer pallets are too rosy, sweet. I always wished I was a winter, but I couldn’t be. I love the dark colors, like a dark, soft summer. So it always confuses me. And about the essences, it makes me everything so much easier when you can be multiple ones.
Andrea Pflaumer gave me Ingenue Romantic and then Gamine in my interview with her. It wasn’t a full analysis so I assume I have some others in smaller %. And thank you!

As a fellow glass wearer, I would love that!!
When I saw the notification on my phone I thought it was me and it was the weirdest moment ever
Haha!

Could really relate to Gizelle. It is a journey to be enjoyed even if at times frustrating. Loved your lipstick and outfit Gaby.....
Thanks so much! 😊 and yes, I think Gizelles story will really resonate with so many ❤️

@@Gabriellearrudadesign love your ideas, thank you for letting me know 💕
Who is Andrea and what “new” Essences are you talking about? Is there a video/podcast episode about it?
Andrea pflaumer was taught by john Kitchener. There is an interview with her. She gave me ingenue romantic gAMine

Thank you so much! That means a lot!

Thank you! And yes, I think Gizelle looks fantastic in her colors
'It's a tool, its not a rule'. Love that! I also love this style of video: hearing about an individuals unique style journey is always good!
I agree, love that phrase!
I really enjoyed this. Thank you both.
You're so welcome!
Loved the video! I would love more information on the paper doll exercise! I can’t find any information online.

Great video. Thanks for sharing Gabrielle and Giselle. I can relate so much to your style journey Giselle! Loved this style of video/conversation.
Thanks so much!!
What an interesting interview! I feel identified. Congrats to Gizelle🎉
Thank you!
This was a really good video! Gizelle I loved hearing your story.
You both look so beautiful! thank you Gabrielle for your videos i love watching them !
Thank you! This is so wonderful to hear!
Both winter and summer are cool

Video cuts out at which essence hooded eyes suggest?
I believe ethereal
@@Gabriellearrudadesign Thank you.
Second!!

I wouldn’t rule out Soft Natural if just under 5’7. Flamboyant Naturals can definitely have curve look at Meg the Stallion for example.
It's pretty uncommon for SN's to be 5 ft 7 and Kibbe's DIY suggestions are that if you are over 5 ft 6 then you have vertical.
@@Gabriellearrudadesign ok I thought it was 5’9 was automatic vertical
@@Joemomma666-b3e nope it now 5 ft 6 😳
I wanna to be talking to u too! Avout my journey

I’m sorry, but there is no way she’s a soft summer… maybe a cool winter, but def not summer. She’s needs a bit more intensity.
I was thinking that Gabi is bright winter 🙄🙄 not bright Spring
