The discussion covers how facial features like the shape and spacing of the eyes, nose, and lips influence styling choices, hairstyles, and makeup. Hannah and I are figuring out a date actually!
I love Jen. She's so analytical and does a very good job of explaining the science of beauty in an easy way that everyone can understand. The sign of a true teacher. I never walk away feeling less than but rather empowered in my own beauty
She’s so wonderful!
Thank you Gabrielle for having me as a guest! It was so much fun chatting with you 💞
It was an honor to have you! I so enjoyed speaking with you 🥰

Good to see you here too Laysa!😘
If the two of you sold a consolidated fashion, hair, and makeup style consultation I think you would make millions.
Yayyy! Love that you collabarated with stylemejenn. She's great and so are you.
Thank you!! I was honored she came on the podcast!
You two are my favorite content creators, I am so happy you invited her on the show! Excited for the texture collab, we don't really have that kind of guide/content and it's one of my missing puzzle pieces
Yes it would be fun to talk about next! If you haven’t listened I also have a podcast episode on texture too 👍🏻
I love Jen! She has such a unique spin on fashion. I’m loving these collabs!
Style me Jen is my favourite UA-camr 💞💞💞💞
She's wonderful! I was glad she came on the podcast
Noooo waay!! My two favorite YT creators together!! 🥹🥹🥹
Loved it!
It would be exciting to have Jenn back again! Love you both!!
I hope we collaborate again! It was so great to speak with her
OMG...My 2 favorite style youtubers at once!!! ❤
🥳🥳 I'm thrilled she came on!
I learned about facial proportions (proportions in general I guess) from taking design & figure drawing classes in Art School, especially The Rule of Thirds. I already knew I had a short distance from hairline to brows (forehead) & a long distance from nose to chin. I was never a red or bold lip person but assumed it was because my lips are not super full & my mouth is not wide horizontally. In other words it made my mouth look even smaller lol. I still think that's true but now I know it's also due to having a longer bottom third. It's just too much. I prefer a "nude" lip in a satin or gloss finish.
Same, I studied it in art school 👍🏻
I can’t believe my eyes 🤍🤍 love u both.
🤩🤩
Thank you for this podcast this a very good idea !
Could you invite Cocoastyling it would be interesting to have the point of view of this UA-camuse on these topics with the specificity adapted to the black skin. Particularly Season Color and contrast, which requires a different approach for darker skin types.
Dear Peachie would also be a good guest for the podcast.
Great ideas!
so excited!! my two favorite style analysts/philosophers ♡
🤗🤗
gabrielle your dress/hair/jewelry is soooo beautful! suits you perfectly!
Thank you so much!!
Two of my favourite content creators together...what a treat. Thank you really enjoyed!! Ypu are both so unique in the way you present complex theory in a really engaging way.I have learnt so much from you both. Great to see the evolution of your style content...looking forward to following and learning more.
So glad you liked it! That means a lot!
Another one of my faves. Yessss! Loving this Podcast. 😢❤
LOVE THIS DUO! :D❤ I especially love your videos about essences - It's SO hard to figure it out on yourself but this really helped. I definitely hyper-focus on the wrong things a lot of the time instead of looking at it holistically. Thank you both!! ❤
Thank you, glad you enjoyed them! And yes, a holistic view can be so hard but sooo eye-opening
wow she looks like belle from beauty and the beast ✨
Me? Haha I can totally see it now but it wasn’t planned 😂🙃
You are making all of my dream collars come true!❤❤🎉🎉
Hah, that's my goal! I get to talk to all these insanely smart people about style- it's a dream come true! Let me know if you want to see anyone else
Gaby you’re reminding me of Judy Garland. Very old Hollywood
Thank you! Love that 🤗
A new style person for me to check out, thank you for that. Also, I am loving how you're incorporating Ingenue into your style, since hearing that on your video with Andrea Pflaumer.
Yes, I've been having so much fun mixing I and R so far. Now I just need to find those touches of G. And you should definitely check out Jenn's channel, it's wonderful!
Two of my favourite YTers! ❤❤
🤗
Kinda unrelated, but I would love a video about how your hairline affects your face! Like do widows peaks lean towards a certain essence or not, for example
I do think there are some common hairline associations. But it’s not necessarily causal.
Well,I didn't think soo much about it,but generally round hairline is more feminine and square hairline is more masculine, I gonna look up for others tho.
Yay I love Jen!!! Thank you both so much for this 💕
Gabrielle please start making analysis. You have no idea how much value you’ve provided!!! Don’t let us down. Ps. Love Jenn also❤
Loooove this collaboration!!❤
Me too 🤗 it was so fun!
Need to check out your channel Jenn!!! Visuals will help me incredibly xoxox Thanks ladies
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Loving this colab❤️
It was great to chat with her!!
On what others say about you: I’ve heard that I look
Handsome (my grandpa bless his heart 😂)
Not beautiful but cute (guy, I think he just meant “not a vixen”)
You look like a little girl
And when I had to shave my head because of illness, everyone loves it. Get compliments from strangers on the pixie style. So from all of this, I’m positive I have gamine essence in the mix. Yet I have a dramatic body type, so it’s a fun combination.
Great video, this was such a good collab! Off topic, i was a little bit shocked when Gabrielle said that she has ingenue essense; i have always seen softness in her features but they were never small or super rounded, they give more of a timeless ethereal impression rather than a little cutesy one. I feel like Gabrielle can feel this kind of implicitly as she wears long long flowy ruffles and big pearl earrings rather than tight little ruffles and small dainty pearls.
It was confirmed by Andrea Pflaumer in my interview with her 👍🏻 ingenue and romantic together though, so not purely I
…I love Jeen so much., Thank you! 🤩 ❤ I’m a big fan of you both ! 😝
Gabrielle, you look sooooo beautiful in this one! You remind me of young Umma Thurman.
So good but omg wth is that clicking it’s driving me nuts
Ha I’m not sure what that was either! I only noticed it in post- not while we were recording… so there wasn’t a fix 😣
@@Gabriellearrudadesign💗 it’s still such an awesome podcast you guys did a great job! Maybe there is damage to one of your mics or a cable wasn’t fully plugged into it. My dad works in post production and would check those things first before taking more drastic measures.
@@aoifecalderon383 ya I’m not sure if it’s tech or if it’s like a chair or something that was clicking. Thank you for the suggestions!
Where's your top from?
Are you asking me or Jenn? Mine is a dress from Anthropologie but not sure it’s around anymore. It was called tiered corset dress or something like that
@@Gabriellearrudadesign yes yours, it's lovely! Also, I love your collaborations recently!!
@@ang5798 thank you! Honored to have these lovely stylists join me 🤗
I love this series! But could you let your guests speak more freely? You often interrupt when they clearly have something more to say, or answer your own question before letting your guest answer. No hate ❤
Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely try to work on this!
Dear Peachei plzzzz
So in other words…dive head-first into your style 💇🏻♀️
Haha, yes!
I don't know what the clicking is, but it's very distracting - maybe jewelry? I have learned as someone who records to not wear clunky jewelry while recording. :)
Ya im not sure- we didn’t hear it during recording so it wasn’t able to be fixed. I don’t believe it was my earrings as I tested my mic beforehand to see if they would be an issue. but maybe a chair or faulty cable. Sorry!
@@Gabriellearrudadesign I'm guessing it's something on someone's hands or wrists, that's usually what does it for me! 😁Thanks, great episode anyway!
@@TheMary0831 good call! Thank you- I’m sorry that happened
I watch and love both of your channels, but the clicky noise that is so prominent in Jen's parts is just so distracting that I need to click out of this vid.
Sorry about that, it wasn't evident when we were recording!
