As a 2016 F-Type R owner and a proud Anglo-Swiss (conceived in Luzern, apparently) this filled my heart with absolute joy.

Last fortnight, came stoking down that hill to see that hairpin hotel, with this video photo scene playing in my thoughts. Epic roads on 2 and 4 wheels. Great trip mate, that was my first euro trip too just after yours.

I wish I was back there not going to lie! Glad to hear you had a good trip! I should have bought a drone that was my only thought when editing. Next time though ✌🏻

mega mate! My coolant tank cracked on Furka Pass so although I had sunshine, it looks like you had a better run at it haha

Those roads look epic mate! Really surprised at the level of snow around for June, but then again you are proper high, altitude wise.

There is a way to sharpen up an F type with an electronic diff. Use ‘DSG Off’ or TRAC DSG. Lots of f type drivers get freaked out about turning of the traction control. But honestly (in the dry) it takes the handling to a different level. It’s so much more adjustable in the corners. I would encourage all f type owners to give it a try (in the dry).

I might try that at a lower altitude 😂 not at 2436m 😂

@@tootalltodrive Yep, there’s a reason that the first thing that good drivers do is disable the traction control. Its not ego it’s car control.

How is the cornering, taking bends, is it comparable with an m2? Does it handle as a sportscar?

    • @tootalltodrive

I think the M2 will handle better, but never been pushing it with an M2 to compare

Hello, do you have the V6 or V6S and do you think the S is worth the extra? (Used market)

I have the facelift - so that doesn’t carry an S name. However, it is the S version P380. I think it is worth it extra power and differential. However, if you are happy you can code in the extra power.
