I was there. Very hot and brutal. I think these guys were blinded by the sun for most of their performance and had no breeze. Tough gig but played beautifully. Glad I can say “I saw them when.....”
one of the best songs ever orchestrated, dmb were the best to ever do it, the way the take simple elements of music and turn it into something unique and superior
I was there but in a k hole on the side of a building where I found shade. It was over 100 degrees everyday and the water was contaminated. The restrooms were dirty and no being cleaned. Luckily on LSD you don't need restrooms. Lol
Saw him for the first time less than a week after woodstock 99 in Charlotte, nc….what is now pnc music pavilion, then blockbuster pavilion (good lord does that date me)….by the way, I was only 8 years old….all these college girls (who were ten years older than me) were giving me high fives….great experience
anyone catch how he messes up after first verse?? was about to say only waiting.....then he says shit! god I used to watch this band too much back in the day!!
Absolutely amazing as usual !!!

1:24 he was like "shit I'm not this far into the song yet"
He was plagued with Monitor problems
@@MaynardJamesKeenan09 Yeah every artist who performed was plagued with monitor problems. Even Limp Bizkit wasn’t immune to it with this festival.
Major sound issues.

Such a melodic and beautiful performance. The crowd meanwhile was getting worked up to riot and eventually burn down the entire venue.

Ahhhh, I can listen to Dave and 41 and listen to the the band jam for hours and hours...such Magic
This was a great set. Short, but great.
Oh my. So much history and reinvention fused beautifully… it’s an awakening to self love and self discovery and its exquisite to digest💜🙏🥰
forgive boyd already - music is worth it...
This was probably hands down their most miserable set. They must have been sweating their balls off 🥵
Man I miss these 9 plus minute jam sessions for a song
Carter really shows his talent here!!

Sick
Thanks to Carter, Bonham is the second greatest drummer of all time. 😮
João Nascimento BOLD
Carter probably is better. Though, they different eras, style, and music.
He had to mess it all up at the end lol
