This is the lucky story of mine; I was surfing eBay and found Yoshino and Tohka both for around $9 dollars, and together they cost me $19. They were my first figures, and I didn't know bootlegs existed. But they weren't bootlegs at all. I was SO LUCKY. SOOOO lucky.
FrozenSpatula yes, it will almost always be from Japan, check reviews, and price, the good thing about eBay is that it will cater to you, if you get a fake figure you can get a refund. I only buy figures from eBay that are rare or out of stock it’s always better to buy it from official sites.
Sometimes it's hard when you're a first time buyer or not familiar with the nendoroids in general so it can be annoying. But once you do your research and know how to spot the main signs of a bootleg, you'll be fine. This video is very helpful for those who don't know any better. Good job.
+lil'staticsheep The eyes are a different shape because that isn't Miku, it's Kagami from Lucky Star wearing Miku cosplay. Everything on Mandarake is legit
@Animebox Hello, I really respect and enjoy your channel, but I think you sent out some mixed messages. I've bought figures from other sellers on Ebay and Amazon, and it is possible to find good deals! I was scrolling through the comments, and you're leading your viewers to believe that Pretty much any figure under $30 USD is a fake. The message I'm trying to put out to anybody reading, is do your research. I have found several real Nendoroids for a good price under $30. A figure can come from ANYWHERE and be legit (people from China like to sell their figures too!), if you are uncertain, check with the seller, and check their photos and reviews.
I avoid buying figs from a seller with a screen name as their store name like ( i.e. cloud4456) I also never buy anything anime related items from eBay. you also gotta know that lots of japanese companies that produces these figs have legitimate factories in china, cuz if you check your authentic figs, some will say made in china on the back of the box which means not every fig coming out of china is bootleg. Another thing is yes if the price is crazy cheap, it's a guarantee fake XD.
Ahhh I'm so glad I did research and watched this because I really want to get a Homucifer nendoroid and I was totally thinking of buying one I saw on eBay for like $25, until I realized it was a total fake. Now I understand that $50 isn't too bad of a price lol
I got a Hatsune Miku figure for $15 and a Rem figure for $17 and it hasnt been delivered yet , Miku is not Boot legged but i dont know about Rem yet because i havent gotten her
aliexpress is a good alternative I got 4 fromt there recentyl they all look good enough and don't fall apart and are fun to have... just check feedback before you buy :)
Usually before buying one I first of all check if the seller has a picture of the product that they took and that is not from the website where the figure was originally sold and then I look at the picture that the seller took and a picture from the website where the figure was first sold and if theyre the same id buy it
Not all figures from China are fake. I've bought a few and seen reviews from ones from china, and they were all legit and followed the real photo. I can agree though that you should still watch out for figures that come from China, not only from ebay.
Save yourself from stress. For rare figures, Mandarake is your best friend. Even the used figures are in really good condition, and there is 100% no bootleg problem.
I'd rather buy from the sellers that ship from Japan, Japanese people take really good care of figures, and mostly people who sell from the UK etc are selling the bootlegs they got shipped, because they were not happy with getting a bootleg, and mostly want their money back
To fix this problem you have to fix the location in the advanced settings. You change it to Japan and you will get results from Japanese sellers on eBay
i found a sakura miku nendoroid, i ordered it (it hasnt came yet) and i never noticed that that they had a different box in the picture, one picture showed the official product box and another picture was a bootlegs box
Despite being an eBay lover myself, I totally get why you're not willing to deal with the sellers on that site. Also the methods you mentioned are totally how I do it...I just wish I knew it before learning from experience XP Gonna try Mandarake, though. I want something more consistent, and I honestly love getting used figures (it's like adopting a dog; giving it a new home)
Hehe, I like the way you look at used figures xP Yeah, I'm making my first purchase there, but figure collectors love it, I'd buy there more if it weren't for international shipping. (I'm super cheap and hate the concept of paying for shipping xD)
This helped! Since I'm buying a nendoroid from Ebay, And it is located INSIDE the U.S., I have clarified it is Real and I am extremely happy! You truly are a amazing helper Anime Box!
Do you know any ways to convince my parents to let me buy nendoroids? I want to start collecting but they think they are overly expensive and made out of cheap plastic :(
I don't often buy from eBay unless it's doujinshis. But I'm happy to help users on MFC to blacklist users that would sell bootlegs. Amazon is not safe either since I've seen bootlegs here and there. Even if there is a policy placed on there. Another great video! And there are at least 4 or 5 kinds of bootleg Sakura Miku Nendoroid, last time I checked. It's crazy! XD Even when they updated to the real one, parts of it still show it's a bootleg, like the sad face on the front instead of the neutral smiley face(as shown in your video).
Is Jungle Hobby Shop a reliable site? I've ordered a Ritsu Tainaka Nendoroid which was in B condition (used as display) and I used registered SAL shipping. Do you think I got ripped off?
Anime box, I need your help! I live in the UK and I'm finding it really hard to find real nendoroids that don't cost too much. I can't buy from amiami, mandarake, crunchyroll or the good smile company because customs and post and packaging cost a ton. For example, my friend bought two common nendoroids from amiami which would've cost her only $48 but with customs and post and packaging it cost her $135. Ack! Please help me find a place (or account on ebay/amazon) which sells them for a good price, otherwise I'll have to turn to the dark side of the bootlegs!
Clare Hurst Well, I'm really not familiar with places who ship to UK, but I highly recommend you get a myfigurecollection.net account, there are even UK groups on there who could give you advice, plus if you're looking for a specific figure, there are links directly from the page to some shops that are in UK. Plus it's a great site to get answers to questions you have.
A few of sites I could personally recommend for fellow UK collectors are: www.kingplayer.de/ www.eyeonasia.co.uk/ inxspro.com/index.php?route=common/home Happy hunting!
I got a Sakura Miku Nendroid for a little over $20 at Anime Jungle in LA, but idk if it's real since it came in a rectangular box with Nendroid and Crypton labeling and with a few accessories.
Sakura miku is a pricy nendoroid, but it depends. If it's the Sakura miku dayo, it sounds about right. However if it is the traditional one, it is probably a bootleg. Look up unboxing videos to see if it matches the official. You can also check for the shimmery authentication sticker that is on goods smile products. Hope this helps
btw im pretty sure if you pay for something from ebay and its not what it said it was going to be, aka a fake being sold as real, you can just flat out ask if your not sure, make sure u document their answer if you are unsure and if you wana you can get it
I want to buy a figure on this website called GUSTOYS but on checkout you need to enter your phone number and my number has a 4 digit area code then a 6 digit number but it gives you 3 spaced box then a 10 spaced box then a 5 spaced extension like this, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I entered my phone number in lots of ways but it wont recognise it and I am very confused I any one knows the site can you help me.
i can't buy nendoroids from stores so i am thinking of order online but if i order on other than the sights you mentioned here what should i think about? I don't want a bootleg. should i do as you said in this video even if i buy it from another place(on the internet)
I am looking at the Yoshino and Tohka nendoroids on amazon and they are really expensive. I got on eBay and some of them are like under $30 so for these figures would you suggest I go to mandake (sorry if I spelled the site wrong)
You're paying in yen. They're going to deduct the balance from your account in yen, and that would convert to whatever currency you're using. The PayPal fees are a policy that if you pay in foreign currency, they're going to charge you an extra fee or something. I think it's the currency conversion processing fee or something like that.
I had this nendoroid hatsune miku and the pigtails were worse especially when the parts falls easily and i hate that! Also the glossy face and unpainted parts
Hi! I just wanted to know if the Shipping for this site Mandarake, has okay or expensive shipping costs? The site looks good, but I can't find many figures I want to purchase. -Thanks! I found the video helpful! ;)
Angela Cao Shipping depends, if you're ordering like two figures you'll probably pay 1000 -1500 yen for SAL, EMS will be more expensive because its faster.
I have a question,.... I saw this beautiful Snow Miku Figma on Ebay for $23.95 and the pictures look like the Figma is not a fake.... So I don't know if I should buy it! Please awnser Anime Box! I need your help!
Oh here is the website for the Figma, sorry I didn't give it to you earlier.. www.ebay.com/itm/New-Anime-Vocaloid-Snow-HATSUNE-MIKU-Cute-Figma-Ex-016-Action-Figure-New-In-Box/181434085754?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a3e
BlackRockShooter That is so fake. Those pictures are taken straight from the GSC website, the price alone indicates that it's fake, plus it's from China.
one seller that I've bought from that can be trusted is Japan Deputi, I bought from them via Amazon, but when I looked them up on google I found their Ebay page too, so yeah if anyone's looking for legit sellers there's them.
Trying out the Mandarake website x3 Some of the deals on there are good except to the point where I'm most likely to pay a fortune for it to be shipped too the Uk ;-;
I recently ordered a kuroneko nendoroid on Amazon. The reviews say it's a legit and the price was about 40. I hope it's not a fake! I also ordered another but from crunchyroll so I know it's gonna be real. It's sasami(in her cute little pj's)
I'm buying a figma miku off eBay xD I'm pretty sure it's a bootleg since its $23 and the one review says it is loose, but in all honesty I need my money for Tokyo ghoul stuff... Are bootlegs all the way around bad?
+Erza Scarlet From my experience, it's pretty bad. I got a figma Luka Megurine for around the same price, and her joints were all different sizes and her neck was that of a giraffe. She immediately fell apart when I took her out of the box. Besides her uneven...everything...she looked cheap and the paint job was horrible. It was upsetting and hilarious. I suggest saving up for that one expensive real figure than buying a bootleg. I recently got my first real figma (Snow Miku) and she's gorgeous, definitely worth saving up for the real thing. :)
WayfinderDubs aww bit sad.. I already ordered it sadly.. I'd received money from Christmas and most of it went to saving up for my Japan trip... Someday. SOMEDAY I will buy a quality figma! Haha thanks for your input I will cherish it greatly c:
I ordered some nendriods (Len and rin) and they were 8.99 (so was shipping) and I'm scared that they're fake but the pictures are the real actual figurines. Next time try ordering from actual sellers (i.e, people who aren't all from Hong Kong or China) I ordered a Kaito plushie from someone in Texas and its 100% genuine. Pretty hard process D:
+Finding Myself Figures, especially Good Smile, are usually expensive. Unless the person just wants to get rid of the figures, they are probably fake my dude.
Yes the figures from Japan are the best for me but today i was scrolling through Ebay and say sakua miku for like 12 pounds from China and i dont think its bad because they prob make lots of figures in China and they dont really have much value.
On ebay if you search up anime figure there are alot of figures that are legit but dont have boxes. I have bought quite alot of my figures on ebay and i haven't got a bootleg. You just need to search up anime figure or anime figurine. Ebay is not the place to buy nendoroids or figmas though.
I'm worried because I just ordered a figma and 2 nendoroids for less than $20 each off of eBay so hopefully their real because a lot of other people bought the figures.
+Floral Roses Hi, Yes i got them. One of the Nendoroids was 100% fake because it fell apart everywhere and looks bad. The Figma has problems with the arms and in some places falls apart so i think it may be fake. The other Nendoroid didn't fall apart and seems to look real but i really don't know for sure.
I think it's ok if someone wants to buy a bootleg. As long as they don't plan to sell it later on as the real thing. Personally I have had good experiences with a couple of bootlegs I got. A 1/4 scale of Charlotte dunois and a 1/6 paisura bikini sonico. You just have to remember to look at the seller feedback. I always try to go through the top sellers from china. Beware of sellers with feedback of 2,000 or less, because some of them are scammers and won't give you anything. They will have bot reviews sometimes and after you buy from them their 2000 reviews suddenly change to 140. A long time ago I ran into that problem. But got my money back. Another thing to watch out for is very low prices. Anything that's listed from 6 to 20 dollars is most likely a scam. If you plan to buy a bootleg make sure to check their actual product photos as well. Because sometimes the first photos that pop up are the original figure photos. Just scroll through them and check to see if they have photos of the bootleg. Just some helpful tips if you do plan on buying a bootleg. I usually only buy them if the original sculpt of the figure is not 100 percent to my liking. For example with paisura bikini sonico on the original sculpt her arm is bent kind of weird. So I wasn't going to pay full price for that even if it is original. If the sculpt is lacking but I like the rest of the figure I will just get a bootleg.
Otaku Mode and Mandarake has a lot of her. Try YesAsia as well (though that site is pricey as all get out. Free shipping for orders above 39.99$ though.)
this profile was hacked by HATSUNE MIKU Bootlegs are bad, it's a cheap knockoff, aka fake and doesn't support the company that worked so hard to create the real ones
Oh no :...( i ordered an attack on titan figma on eBay it was from China and it was 20$ ....but the pics looked super legit it said it was "new condition" do you think i got a bootleg? I spent all my report card money :......(
though they do look a bit derpy i dont mind bootlegs theyre not the best but not the worst compared to some stuff that looks like complete and total poo
I found this miku nendoroid on mandarake and the nendoroids on there should be good but her eyes are not the right shape. what do you think? ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/item_s-249372.html
its mostly for the quality yes, but as for sakura miku you can see the bootlegs compared to the actual thing, the actual thing looks way better, so looks and quality, i have a few bootlegs nendoroids myself and there is a lot of problems with them, the peg is too lost to fit in the stand so i have to prop it up for it to stand, and everything falls of if you give it the slightest nudge, and with my other one the face paint is pretty bad, i didn't think bootlegs were that big of a deal until i actually got one.
MCCEOFF possibly, if you look at the face plate she has on shes looking to the right, with the actual nendo that face plate is just looking straight forward
They are a huge deal. These bootleg figures mean none of your money is going to the license holders, and merchandising is how most anime production companies make their money, believe it or not. Bootleg products are a parasite on the anime industry
if your broke go with China that's what I did. I'm no longer broke finally. so I'm searching for Japan figures to replace all my bootlegs. eBay is good just need to find the right seller that lives in japan reviews isn't all.
How much does does the authentic Sakura miku usually cost? I'm thinking of buying one of Amazon for about 46 dollars (with free shipping) and it's sold by SukiYaki Japan. Link - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BHB1PZU/ref=s9_dcbhz_bw_g21_i4_sh
+Grizzly Bear For that price its probably a bootleg. I was surprised to see it ships from Japan though, so you might try contacting the SukiYaki seller and asking, just in case.
+Tristan Bateman Well, buying bootlegs, aside from the poor quality of the piece itself, you are not supporting the makers who put so much effort into making them, and that, for me, is no good. If you wanna find out if they're bootlegs, you can take a look at one of my other videos about how to spot them: How to Spot and Avoid Bootleg Figures!
But yes the ones from China or bootleg but all anime figures come from China over to Japan that's where they're made from so I mean it's weird my friend had to explain it to me yes figures are made over and in China and they come to Japan
Seika Luxray The GSC factory is in China yes, but that's not where they are sold from. In fact, GSC just recently opened their very own factory in Japan.
nendoroids that come from China are not all fake I have some that come from China and are real, they are not bootlegs I can tell the difference so not all nendoroids that come from China are fake.
Yeah, fakes at mall type anime stores are not uncommon, same goes for cons, but that shouldn't dissuade you from shopping at physical stores for figures, you just gotta be vigilant :3
Since I didn't see this being addressed in the comments section yet, I'm gonna say it..
Hong Kong is in China..
Yes! Thank you! I was like does she know Hong Kong is in China??
hahaha
Gojigen Shogun ikr I heard that and thought “the fuck that’s China”
It is a island in asia

Everything on Mandarake is legit
nice video!! :DD the audio is a bit low, but yo can hear it. 9/10
If the figure is cheep and you can tell it's not a bootleg than its just a good deal by the seller
Thank you I’m paranoid that anything cheap is fake Bc I got scammed DX
Yeah they might take photos of their copy and send you the bootleg I think I have a problem rn because It looks legit but the sticker is not shiny
@Animebox Hello, I really respect and enjoy your channel, but I think you sent out some mixed messages. What about the nendoroids from Canada and the US on Ebay?
Thank you so much for the advice
I'd rather buy from the sellers that ship from Japan, Japanese people take really good care of figures, and mostly people who sell from the UK etc are selling the bootlegs they got shipped, because they were not happy with getting a bootleg, and mostly want their money back

I hear Hong Kong sellers are pretty sketchy. I know the prices at least are always hecka low which is usually a red flag.

i found a sakura miku nendoroid, i ordered it (it hasnt came yet) and i never noticed that that they had a different box in the picture, one picture showed the official product box and another picture was a bootlegs box

fry133 Jesus, I didn't realize the price went so high. I wouldn't have guessed she was so expensive, looks like Josh is pretty enviable now.
Warning: There are really realistic Sakura Miku bootlegs. They even have the correct faces and translucent hair. Be warned, I almost bought one.
THANK YOU SO MUCH :3 I use eBay a lot so this is great
So glad I could help :D
Can you pay for things from Mandarake with US money?
On mandarake do you have to pay in yen?
Yep. If you're paying with PayPal, there are fees, so I advise using a credit card if you don't want those extra fees.
Roderich Edelstein I'm a little confused, are you saying I have to pay in yen or I can pay with dollars but it would have extra fees?
You're paying in yen. They're going to deduct the balance from your account in yen, and that would convert to whatever currency you're using. The PayPal fees are a policy that if you pay in foreign currency, they're going to charge you an extra fee or something. I think it's the currency conversion processing fee or something like that.

www.ebay.com/itm/New-Anime-Vocaloid-Snow-HATSUNE-MIKU-Cute-Figma-Ex-016-Action-Figure-New-In-Box/181434085754?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a3e
BlackRockShooter That is so fake. Those pictures are taken straight from the GSC website, the price alone indicates that it's fake, plus it's from China.
Well thank you! Now I know I shouldn't buy it! 😂
one seller that I've bought from that can be trusted is Japan Deputi, I bought from them via Amazon, but when I looked them up on google I found their Ebay page too, so yeah if anyone's looking for legit sellers there's them.
What will happen if u asked if it was real and they said yes because I bought a Halloween Miku from ebay
Today I got a real miku figure from eBay
where to buy original figure from online? suggestion?
Well, shit... I ordered a Komeada figure the other day as my first anime figurine and, well, guess it's a bootleg. Dammit.
I know this is REALLY early but what day do you plan on going to the expo next year? Hope to see you there.
To AX? I go every day every year, aside from day 4, sometimes I don't go because I'm so tired.
Trying out the Mandarake website x3 Some of the deals on there are good except to the point where I'm most likely to pay a fortune for it to be shipped too the Uk ;-;
KawaiiGeek :3 Go with SAL, it's the slowest but cheapest rate :3
I recently ordered a kuroneko nendoroid on Amazon. The reviews say it's a legit and the price was about 40. I hope it's not a fake! I also ordered another but from crunchyroll so I know it's gonna be real. It's sasami(in her cute little pj's)
How about if it’s says that form Canada or from USA? Is it mean that it’s legit figures ?
+Krisi actually I got them recently and they're genuine! Pretty shocking and a once in a lifetime occurrence probably lol
Yes the figures from Japan are the best for me but today i was scrolling through Ebay and say sakua miku for like 12 pounds from China and i dont think its bad because they prob make lots of figures in China and they dont really have much value.
i always buy figures from auctions on ebay for max 4£ (without shipping) from japanese collectors and surprisingly all of them were legit!
+lil'staticsheep
I've never ordered from them personally but I hear they're legit
I just got one on amazon for a almost $40 and I looked at the review photos first and seemed legit so.... I'll just have to wait and see...
well there's not a lot of people who are willing to pay a lot of money for one, people who are on a fixed income can only afford the cheaper ones.
Since you did this specifically for EBay can you do one for Amazon?
mari s I absolutely plan to :3
On ebay if you search up anime figure there are alot of figures that are legit but dont have boxes. I have bought quite alot of my figures on ebay and i haven't got a bootleg. You just need to search up anime figure or anime figurine. Ebay is not the place to buy nendoroids or figmas though.
I'm buying an emma from tpn figure and I watched this video and it helped. I think it's legit. I hope it comes next month. We'll see...
I'm worried because I just ordered a figma and 2 nendoroids for less than $20 each off of eBay so hopefully their real because a lot of other people bought the figures.
Have you got them yet? Were they fakes or nah?
+Floral Roses Hi, Yes i got them. One of the Nendoroids was 100% fake because it fell apart everywhere and looks bad. The Figma has problems with the arms and in some places falls apart so i think it may be fake. The other Nendoroid didn't fall apart and seems to look real but i really don't know for sure.
+Solus Prime Oh no, have a look on the box from videos to find out the second one😰
+Floral Roses Cool I will. Thank You
I think it's ok if someone wants to buy a bootleg.
This video helped me a lot thank you anime box
Zuleima Arzate So glad to have helped :D
PLEASE i need help with finding a hatsune miku figma 2.0
But i dont know witch one to trust to be real

Otaku Mode and Mandarake has a lot of her. Try YesAsia as well (though that site is pricey as all get out. Free shipping for orders above 39.99$ though.)
I have the bootleg one. Are the bootlegs good??
Are the bootlegs bad?¿?¿?
this profile was hacked by HATSUNE MIKU Bootlegs are bad, it's a cheap knockoff, aka fake and doesn't support the company that worked so hard to create the real ones
Anime Box ok
Oh no :...( i ordered an attack on titan figma on eBay it was from China and it was 20$ ....but the pics looked super legit it said it was "new condition" do you think i got a bootleg? I spent all my report card money :......(
I havnt got it yet but it said 98% positive feedback
Oh no😥
Was it bootleg?
+Frog The frog dunno, I got one for $15 and it looks legit
though they do look a bit derpy i dont mind bootlegs theyre not the best but not the worst compared to some stuff that looks like complete and total poo
where do you usually buy figurines from?
Try amiami all of them are legit
+Ultimate Weeb Intensifies!! thank you :3
Np (・ω・)ノ
Is it safe if you buy from eBay Japan?
Best place! When I see japan so far it’s been 100% real. From my experience tho
I found this miku nendoroid on mandarake and the nendoroids on there should be good but her eyes are not the right shape. what do you think?
ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/item_s-249372.html
is 60$ ok for a nendoroid!
yes
Are bootlegs really that big of a deal? What are the differences between bootlegs and legitimate figures? Is it just the quality of the figure?
its mostly for the quality yes, but as for sakura miku you can see the bootlegs compared to the actual thing, the actual thing looks way better, so looks and quality, i have a few bootlegs nendoroids myself and there is a lot of problems with them, the peg is too lost to fit in the stand so i have to prop it up for it to stand, and everything falls of if you give it the slightest nudge, and with my other one the face paint is pretty bad, i didn't think bootlegs were that big of a deal until i actually got one.
Alright. Do you think this is a boot leg?
otakushop.us/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/1-600x600.jpg
MCCEOFF possibly, if you look at the face plate she has on shes looking to the right, with the actual nendo that face plate is just looking straight forward
Ok. On the official site, it shows her looking on an angle too. I have that one, and it also has the made in China thing engraved, so I'm not sure.
Le sigh, this means the Figma SAO Kirito and Asuna I just spent £30 are bootlegs then... great :(
is 71 dollars ok for a sakura miku?
ananya sharma Yup
How much does does the authentic Sakura miku usually cost? I'm thinking of buying one of Amazon for about 46 dollars (with free shipping) and it's sold by SukiYaki Japan. Link - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BHB1PZU/ref=s9_dcbhz_bw_g21_i4_sh
+Grizzly Bear For that price its probably a bootleg. I was surprised to see it ships from Japan though, so you might try contacting the SukiYaki seller and asking, just in case.
id care if my nenderoid miku was a bootleg bc i love it so much
I get it but the figure collecting is all about getting the original piece, also if you buy the bootleg you are supporting illegal copies.
When I figured out about the mandarake I went crazy I thought I could finally get my Teto plush and then it costed yen :/.
When you pay your money turns into yen :)
I just ordered a hatsune miku figure for 18.00 from china then watched this video.... I got bootlegged
same I ordered two nozomi ones
Id just go to japan one day and shop spree.
a great trust worthy site is Zenmarket
I spotted a bootleg kaito one.
Surprise surprise I got a fake luka fig a but a real racing 2014 miku😐
Shoot i ordered a character from k-on.... its in china and i costs 13.00$ SHOOT
*Why Bandai kept on making P-Bandai kits
+Tristan Bateman
Well, buying bootlegs, aside from the poor quality of the piece itself, you are not supporting the makers who put so much effort into making them, and that, for me, is no good.
Can you get bootlegs on Amazon ?
Yup, ive seen a bunch
I bought a luka figma on ebay from japan
I think I got a bootleg...
can you do one on Amazon
+MiknightPlay I plan to :3
+Anime Box Sugoi X3
+Anime Box OMG please do this XD
Hong Kong is in China... ^^; But definitely an informative video! Great for newcomers!
Well, it's considered separate in this aspect, and there is a difference when it comes to this material.
Anime Box I never knew that, when I'm on eBay, I always think "China, Hong Kong, just different ways to say BOOTLEG!" XD
Nope, they're separate
Good to know!
I should've watched this video before I (hopefully not) bought the bootleg version. Shit!
You do realize that EVERYTHING including the official japanese anime stuff is made in China mainly in Hong Kong.
Seika Luxray The GSC factory is in China yes, but that's not where they are sold from. In fact, GSC just recently opened their very own factory in Japan.
alot of the factories sell from factories
nendoroids that come from China are not all fake I have some that come from China and are real, they are not bootlegs I can tell the difference so not all nendoroids that come from China are fake.
i got my first one but it was a fake and it was at my anime store i was so mad
Yeah, fakes at mall type anime stores are not uncommon, same goes for cons, but that shouldn't dissuade you from shopping at physical stores for figures, you just gotta be vigilant :3
I got a bootleg
How much yen equals one american dollar?
1000¥ is roughly 10$.
So 1¥=0.01$
