That's why you sometimes see Krillin (Dragon Ball) spelled as Klillin. It's technically not wrong. I had a Japanese person once tell me, they wanted to praise someone's work by typing clap clap clap. They got confused and wrote crap crap crap.

Although I've been reading One Piece for close to 20 years now, I've only recently got into videos about One Piece and especially reactions/first impressions of One Piece. I love your mom's takes and observations about everything, especially comparing to other reactions and knowing what happened so far. On the point of Luffy fighting Zoro, there are 2 points that make that a bit more understandable. Point 1, they gave Luffy food, for Luffy that makes them friendly people worth protecting. Point 2, the guy who did that was Zoro, the guy that was freed from the Fishmen by Nami, told to just take the oportunity to escape without making a fuzz, and chose, chose, to slash everyone there and wait for more people to come to slice those, mind you, he did this while still recovering from his fight with Mihawk and for no reason at all. Zoro is the kind of person that will chose violence if the option is ever available and Luffy knows this, the point about Zoro starting to kill everyone for what many would consider a small inconvenience is not Luffy over reaching, Zoro's reaction to being cheated in a dice game was to blow out the table, dealer and ceiling of the place he was in, Zoro is the kind of guy that would go on a rampage for the dumbest of reasons, the movie about the cursed sword comes to mind, so Luffy has reasons for his outburst.
I love this! I've followed a bunch of read throughs of One Piece but making it a dialog is just fantastic. Looking forward to my favorite arc Sabaody Archipelago but going to be eating good getting there.

How in the unholy hell did she just stumble upon the LT reveal from seeing the island named once? We had to theorize for that for years, get it shown in a non canon movie, then get to WANO before we got any real kind of confirmation.
And she just... Read the freaking name and used the mistranslated spelling for "Zoro" to figure it out.

I would love to hear your mom and murphy napier discuss one piece to the point where your mom is at in the story right now would be a good listen from them both.
On the point of Luffy fighting Zoro, there are 2 points that make that a bit more understandable.
Point 1, they gave Luffy food, for Luffy that makes them friendly people worth protecting.
Point 2, the guy who did that was Zoro, the guy that was freed from the Fishmen by Nami, told to just take the oportunity to escape without making a fuzz, and chose, chose, to slash everyone there and wait for more people to come to slice those, mind you, he did this while still recovering from his fight with Mihawk and for no reason at all.
Zoro is the kind of person that will chose violence if the option is ever available and Luffy knows this, the point about Zoro starting to kill everyone for what many would consider a small inconvenience is not Luffy over reaching, Zoro's reaction to being cheated in a dice game was to blow out the table, dealer and ceiling of the place he was in, Zoro is the kind of guy that would go on a rampage for the dumbest of reasons, the movie about the cursed sword comes to mind, so Luffy has reasons for his outburst.
Really playing with fire with all the clever subtle hints when the person you’re dealing with can see the future

I love this! I've followed a bunch of read throughs of One Piece but making it a dialog is just fantastic. Looking forward to my favorite arc Sabaody Archipelago but going to be eating good getting there.
