    @dradamfields I have been using this video for ~2 years. I would love a more advanced version, same two-person style, pushing this just a bit further. I push it on my own. When stretching out during the lunge stretches, I lift my back leg and balance on one foot. I also combine the sets of 15 reps into one ~45 rep set. Still like your stuff.

    It's quite helpful to see that the boy isn't doing all exercises absolutely perfectly. That definitely gives me some piece of mind and allows me be more consistent with these exercises, instead of getting discouraged because I'm not doing them even close to as well as he is. Doctor Fields, I really can't stress enough how thankful I am for all that you are doing. Thank you!

    I thought all of my bones had cracked but, I there seemed to be bones, I didn't know were there that, needed some moving🙄. THANK YOU, the workout was helpful and well explained, I appreciate it! I actually think for the first time, my bones are straightening. As I gain strength and flexibility in my connective tissue I seem to be releasing, 'Stuff' so, I think my bones appear to be straightening. Tonight, I cried, I didn't realise how much I could carry so, it has been nice to feel the let go☺️ THANK YOU. Certainly, from toning exercises my whole body is now so so so toned. Thanks I appreciate it!😊

    it's 3 months after I've finished my therapy for l3,4,5 herniation, and I've had tingling on my leg every once in a while and no exercise I've tried helped to get rid of it.
    I've done this and "Quick standing core workout" with a 2 day distance between them, and the tingling sensation has gone away in less than a week and I'm feeling in control of my back on every move I make. Also my flexibility improved dramatically.
    Thank you!

      The good Dr. does make this disc friendly IMHO. Just take note when he saids "Keep that arch in the back". Do that even if you have to limit how far you bend. After a week or two it will be second nature. I have been using this video for two years in the morning. I recently added in the afternoon "No Equipment Arm Workout" - ua-cam.com/video/QcqAFMCkKYk/v-deo.html. I was having shoulder pain (rot. cuff) and was limited in range. That pain is pretty much gone and I can feel muscle gain in my biceps. The two sessions together are ~40m and so helpful. Thanks @dradamfields.

    I just found out about Dr. Fields this week and have already recommended this channel to three poeple! I want to try these exercises but I have anterior pelvic tilt and I've read it's not recommended that I arch my lower back when I exercise because of that. Some of these exercises require you to arch your back to protect the spine, so I'm not sure if I should be doing them with a mildly arched back (trying to prevent my hip from rotating too much by squeezing my abs and glutes) or if I just shouldn't be doing any of these at all. By the way, I would love if you could make a video with exercises to fix APT.

      Hi Elaine, Keep your abs engaged as well and go with more of a neutral spine. You may want to check out my Low Back On the Mat video. Would be well suited for you. Pilates-esque

    I have been taking treatment(only medicine and rest) for my l4,l5 discs issue and last one month has been I dont have pain in my leg. So can I do this exercises.

    • @dradamfields
      @dradamfields  4 роки тому

      I try to make them disc friendly. Just keep the arch in your lower back and your abs engaged. All of my core videos should be slowly introduced. You've landed in the right place. Now go get yourself the best core you know.

    Should I do this twice a day before foam blocks or just once a day?

    • @dradamfields
      @dradamfields  6 років тому

      One time per day will suffice. If you are referring to the Pettibon or CBP spinal molding blocks, especially do the McKenzie Extension Exercises prior to laying on the LD-fulcrum or Denneroll. Molding can be done 2x/day. However, placement, timing etc. need to be prescribed after a thorough x-ray analysis.

    Is it safe for a herniated disc patient ?

    • @dradamfields
      @dradamfields  3 роки тому +1

      I would say, "yes" with caution. It was designed for people with disc issues. However, you need to do it with a curve in your spine, your glutes engaged and listening to your body. If your symptoms are flared up, go easier or stop. Also look at my whole core playlist as I am cautious for people with disc problems. Keep it up and get yourself well. You may want to try the Teeter Dex 2 or the Nubax tractions also.

      You may not be getting into extension as you may be locked up. More Mckenzie Exercise, psoas stretching/muscle work and chiropractic care.
      I can't give a totally accurate reason without a lot more info but a lack of curve would be my first guess.
