I don't usually comment on videos, but I felt it was necessary to chime in. For anyone who is in need of neuromuscular re-education (virtually the whole population) you just came to the right place. It is apparent to me that Dr. Fields is highly knowledgable and uses a Scientific Approach for prescribing these corrective exercises. You simply don't get that level of expertise with all doctors, so thank you for uploading these videos Dr. Fields.

Going to the ENT tomorrow. I have been dealing with snoring , pitch breaks, onset delays, my throat always feels swollen and it appears that every time I had a baby the throat issues got worse to the point I could barely swallow water. I'm in pain right now and happened to be on UA-cam to see if anyone was dealing with the same. I came upon this video and said "what the heck!" and completed the exercises. WOW... Thank you doc! The pressure in my sinuses diminished and my ears popped which I thought was super odd. I'm getting sleepy from how relaxed I was after completing the video. THANK YOU TONS!!! Chiros ROCK!

But once it did began to work, the difference was amazing--I now sleep uninterrupted! I now do the exercises twice daily. I am a firm believer, in this preventative method! Thank you, for this help--it works!

Hi doc - thanks SO MUCH for these videos. I've been struggling with sleep apnea for three years now, eventually leading to a CPAP machine. As I'm 35, I preferred to fix the problem instead of being hooked to a machine for the rest of my life, so I decided to try everything. Once I started doing your V1/V2 videos once a day I'm happy to report I have been sleeping perfectly, only sometimes wearing a positioning device (which is perfectly fine) to help me sleep on my side. My partner does not even hear my snore anymore. So again: hats off to you!

Not only has it helped with my tight jaw, clenching, etc. but it's actually calmed my nervous system. I even do a low hum while doing several exercises because this calms the vagus nerve....a key nerve that's irritated with chronic anxiety and stress. This is amazing!! Thank you. I normally don't comment on video's, but I have to for this one. I always had interrupted sleep, waking up in the middle of the night multiple times and as a result not getting proper sleep. This led to being tired and always needing a powernap throughout the day. After about a week of doing these stretches daily before sleep I am already noticing a difference. I do not wake up as frequently and am more energised throughout the day without requiring a nap. Will continue doing them for sure! Thank you sir!

Excellent presentation - addresses not only what to do, but why. These are exercises traditional to the yogic sciences/Ayurveda, which have a comprehensive understanding of what the body/mind really is and how it is integrated and regulated. So pleased to this this coming from a western-trained physician - of course an open-minded DC instead of a Pharma Puppet MD. Be aware that sleep apnea can be caused by many of the hypertension meds. It is fundamentally a dysregulation in vagal tone.

Well it's been 3 weeks and I will say my sleep apnea AHI numbers are generally a little lower lately. I recently have changed my mask to a nasal pillow type, so that may be part of difference. I do these at night before bed along with a short yoga wind down. I'm sleeping longer each night, so perhaps. It's a combo, but I would say in general the apnea seems less intense. It's not gone, and without the CPAP I don't sleep as well, but I feel like these are helping. Will report back next week!

I tried these kinds of exercises for quite a while. They didn't help much. But using a breathing training thing like Ultra Breathe or expand-a-lung has definitely done the trick. I use it 5 minutes about three times per week, a little more often at first. I still do the tongue exercises but at least for me, without the breathing trainer, they simply would not be enough. Sweet dreams.

It has "15" months since I began the exercises. I do at least "1" of them "2-3" times daily. Some days I employ all of the exercises. I used to have apnea attacks every night. I now sleep through the night, every night. I have yet to miss a day of the exercises. At first I was skeptical. I did not see immediate results but, I stayed with it and results happened. These exercises have worked wonders for my sleep. I understand that results may be different from person to person; albeit, discipline has worked for me. If one is not disciplined, these exercises probably will not work. Do not give up, if you do not see immediate results--the exercises worked wonders for me. It is muscle training! And this is not an overstatement. This is my "3rd" post to report my progress over the last "15" months. To all of the skeptics be patient and do the work! Thank you so much, Dr. Fields, these exercises have literally changed my life!

Oh man thank you so much. My wife was bewildered but at the same time very thankful that I am not snoring anymore. I am now sleeping in our bedroom. Before I try your exercises I am always sleeping in our couch. after doing your exercises I told her I am not snoring anymore but she won't believe. Adamantly she let me sleep in our bed and she can't believe that I am really not snoring anymore. What a relief for both of us. Can't thank you enough. Just keep up the good work.

Indeed, there is nothing like it. Actually I also watch the v2 exercise and it is just as good. I never thought I can get rid of my snoring but it happen. Your demonstration is very informative and very engaging. And the other thing that my wife had notice is the tone of my voice and as she describe it it is like the voice of a late night DJ. MAKE IT GRAND, MAKE IT BIG. HA,HA,HA. Kudos man I owe you a lot.@@dradamfields

I'm a chronic sinusitis patient for many years and actually recently I have noticed some kind of very dark substances coming from my ears after using some HP diluted in warm water and its not wax nor pus. I also noticed these sort of hard kind of lumps behind my ears and I get lots of trapped fluid in my head that causes terrible pain and all this came during the lock down quarantined period I'm afraid to go see a doctor at these moments and I feel I'm just blessed to find you here and doing all these exercises,I pray they can help me. God bless you and hope all this pandemic that has affected the world will soon go peacefully insha Allah (God willing) and pray for the world community to be safe and sound at these tough moments.

Kdg ada hingus nk buang tapi tk terkeluar bila aku paksa jgk nk buang hingus tu tekak aku jdi pedih rasa tk puas mcm mana tah nk nafas pon susah. Nk p check time covid ni risau jgk takut masa p check ada sinus ja balik drp check dpt dua penyakit sinus dgn covid.
