I think it’s best way to deal with a fault after a work like this, otherwise get entrenched with it and go down a rabbit hole, we all been there! Very good video

Hi there, challenging repair, makes your heart sink when you get a new fault straight after, luckily it corrected itself 👍

I really enjoyed how you did this video. Showing how you dealt with the new fault. That is real world stuff there. Nice job! What motor and transmission do you have in the vehicle?

Great videos! Just watched both part 1 and 2 in preparation for tackling this job my self in my L494 SDV8 this Saturday. Will save me a ton of time so thank you very much! I just have two questions that I hope you don’t mind answering, is there a coolant drain point on these? If so where abouts is it located and finally, did the coolant system bleed up ok?

There may be a coolant drain point under the block but not worth the effort when you can just open the lower rad hose, yes the cooling system blead fine its self

@@RaymiesGarage thanks for your reply! I got the job done in just under 5 hours yesterday thanks to this video! A good 45 minutes of that was spent freeing the clips at the bottom of the fan cowling! I didn’t end up draining the cooling system, I only took the top hose off and lost about half a cup of coolant, mine also bled up just fine! Thanks once again for putting this video together!

Looks an easier job than an L322 I done mine which is a 4.4TDV8 8speed auto , I had to remove the front bumper, remove the rad pack degas ac system to get the alternator out . Bit of a pig of a job but had to be done
