I have jumped rope for a while and I started with the basic bounce. However, after a while I just picked up the footwork tricks without too much thought. I like to think that my body just somehow switched things up after perfecting the basic bounce. So, the longer you've jumped rope on the basic bounce, the easier it may be for you to do the other tricks.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great instructions!!! Arm skills and hand placement is very clear!!! The slow motion is easy to follow. The different angles are so very helpful!!! Steaming the curtains came out great! Be blessed Lauren Jumps!
Wow!!! I love your channel and you inspired me to start jumping!! I would love to see more jump rope 101. I’ve watched all your episodes and I’m ready for more!!!
Ahh thank you! So happy to have inspired you 🥰 I don’t have plans for more of those right now but my app Fancy Feats has even more detail and over 40 skills and 40 combos to progress to from those videos 😊
Thanks for the helpful tips. I actually love moving around while jumping rope, never understood why 99% of jump rope content and tutorials out there are focused on staying in place. Keep up the good work Lauren, I'm waiting for your emote to pop up in the Fortnite shop and I will definitely get it!
Taken a few years on and off for me as I keep giving up 😂and finally getting better rhythm and the running on the spot jump using Dope Rope thanks to you 😊
Hello Lauren 👋🏽, very good explained 👏🏽 👌🏽 🎉you are absolutely uniquely and so amazing, thanks for your vídeos and your shorts always. Keep going always your way 💪🏽 💪🏽 💪🏽 your smile is fabulous Have a good Sunday 👍🏼 stay safe and carefully as possible 😊 Greetings Antonio 👋🏽
Great video Lauren. I love love love the fact that you speak with such confidence and authority - no “like” or “um”’s. Well done. Great backdrop too. All very pleasant to watch.
Thank you Lauren. Would you say that it is really a good idea to learn the run in place before starting to learn the boxer step or that the order of learning those does not matter so much?
C'est vraiment incroyable ce que tu fait Lauren. Je te suis souvent sur tes shorts. Tu es très jolie et extrêmement douée, je n'avais jamais vu cette discipline. C'est juste trop beau. Bravo et merci
Hi comment from Shari B. You make it look sooo easy. ! I am 62 and quite fit for my age. I've just got a rebounder, which I'm enjoying learning on. I also run, (started at 53!). I have tried skipping, but I find it difficult, and high cardio. Any tips? Is it too late for me? ❤
Hey! Which rope is it because my ropes shouldn’t come kinked out of their packaging? My ropes have a nylon core which keeps them from kinking/tangling and I can use them straight away out of the packaging with no issues
Hi Lauren I saw your videos and it's good . I start doing jump rope about 2 weeks ago of course I'm not at your level but I do every day 1 hour skipping rope I do it just for health and cause I start feeling very good after workout. Do you thing that with 1 hour skipping rope the day I will see difference in my body ?
Ignore the troll. Jumping rope doesn't come easy to some of us. A few years ago I started like you, but I just kept doing it. Three in a row becomes four and so on.
Just keep practising and work hard you will get jt soon! It might seem frustrating and impossible but soon you might get to 5 or 10! Just keep going and dont give up❤
Start off slow, don't worry about getting 3 in a row. Get your form down first. Then do 1 hop and stop. Focus on the rope. Do 1 hop and stop. Once you feel comfortable and you can time the one hop correctly, try a second hop right after the first hop. Then get two hops down. Practice and get that down. Then move to 3 hops and etc. Make sure your mainly using your wrist to get the rope over you. Try not to use your arms as much. Don't jump high either. Just a 1 or 2 inch hop off the ground should be enough.
Just picked up my jump rope again for the first time in a while. Had a good workout with it today. Coincidentally I also just found this channel today. Gurl Pretty 🤩 and I like the way she talks. I might sub.😊
The rope SHOULD hit the ground so that will be the problem. It should skim the ground 👍🏼 if you have too much rope, it will bounce up and trip you up. Got to get the perfect length
@@bnj7732 could be, very difficult to tell without seeing it! If you head to the link on my channel, one of the links is a free quick start guide. I talk about rope length on there and intro basic bounce form 👍🏼
I hope someone can help. What am I doing wrong as I keep hitting myself with the rope after 15 seconds into my jump? Could it be the way I move my wrists, the type of rope, or my rhythm? I am so frustrated
Hey! It could be either of those things. Check out my app Fancy Feats as I cover mistakes to avoid in all tutorials. Also join my free Facebook group “for the love of jump rope” where a community of us will be happy to help you if you share a video of this happening 😊
You are the sunshine of my life, you are so beautiful you are so great you are so awful was soll ich noch alles sagen du bist einfach klasse und großartig und wunderbar und wunderschön und prima und überhaupt
Love the indoor set, the net curtains worked out great and the lighting is excellent. (Pet gripe: I hate the cutting to an offset camera. It’s all the rage these days but my brain just goes bzzzzt, what??? ?!?!? Reset. Oh well. ) Love you though. Keep going.
what would be fun to do is you not smiling at all when you do a new routine grumpy face/attitude why its fun thing well you never stop smiling as you just love it -- wonder just how long the grump would last hehehhe not long I can guess ? could you actually do it would the not smiling stop you ? hehh quite the challenge 🏋🏋👍👍💕💕😒😒

I would really like if you did more intermediate footwork tutorials.

Lauren I love how you smile and leave politics out of it. I have had brutal layoffs only months apart so I get that.
Thank you for the tutorials ❤🎉
Your physical shape is outstanding 👌👌👌 this comes from very hard work out.

She does present to be very well spoken. Seems she could make the jump to audio book voice recording or become a voice actor.
Thanks for your videos...they always cheer me up!

Thank you for this 😊.
Thank you Lauren.
Would you say that it is really a good idea to learn the run in place before starting to learn the boxer step or that the order of learning those does not matter so much?
These skills are shown in the order you should learn them in 😊 so, yes, you want to learn the run in place first 👍🏼

Lauren could you please tell us about the shoes you use for jumping rope
Excellent
Wait - so basic bounce is not as efficient? But that's all I can do!! Haha... Must learn other steps. Thanks so much for all your advice 👍😁
Lauren how do you recommend straightening a new rope? They are quite folded out of the packet and this makes I difficult to use. Thanks in advance
Hey! Which rope is it because my ropes shouldn’t come kinked out of their packaging? My ropes have a nylon core which keeps them from kinking/tangling and I can use them straight away out of the packaging with no issues

How long should the rope? Is there a good way to determine?

How to do these swing crosses with a metal speeding rope? My rope always gets twisted up in itself
You don’t! Wire ropes are not suitable for tricks. Get a beaded or pvc rope 😊
Can someone tell me why does my rope bounce while its infront of me and bc of that i have to jump higher
Because it’s too long! You need to shorten it so it only skims the ground
@@LaurenJumps Will do! Thank you
Please train Margot Robbie to do that as Harley Quinn in a movie.
