I love these videos! I think it is also fun to copy looks from people I've seen at work or other places. Yesterday I copied a look from my son's girlfriend, all things I had in my closet. I just hadn't thought to put them together. Cute white t with ruffle details, my most thrashed jeans, and cute platform sandals. My takeaway: the shoes aren't uncomfortable. Yay! And such a fun look! Thanks Alyssa for your good work helping us figure it out!

When I lived in Tokyo years ago, people carried hankerchiefs because it was so hot in summer that you would use it to wipe your face. That might be the reason for the 2nd scarf in the first look. Love your videos so much!
That would make total sense! Usually, the men would keep them as a square in the top suit jacket pocket; this is a cooler take on that idea - and useful, I might add! :)

Some men are beautifully turned out. In older age groups look at the Prince of Wales ( in fact, the last five - the Prince Regent, Edward VII, George V and the Duke of Windsor, as well as the present one) plus George VI and the late Duke of Edinburgh.

Every time I watch your videos, I say to myself, I need to put in more time looking into my closet and mixing and matching the clothes I have and making a list of the ones that I need to bring in to pair with what I already have. But, I don't actually put in that effort. I dress up last minute, "dress up" ? I actually grab whatever I can get my hands on without putting any thought into it and just cover myself for the sake of it.
I just wish I wasn't so lazy in this particular field.

When I lived in Japan, you carried a handkerchief EVERYWHERE. You used it as a towel after washing your hands, you used it as a napkin for a meal, and to wipe your face when it was hot. It was a beautiful artistic gift to give a friend. They are thin and 100% cotton. I carry one to this day in my purse.

I really like your baby hairs 😍 I have a lot of them and my hair is wavy/curly, so they can be really annoying, especially when it rains, but I just try to accept them and even love them as they are.

Real cool looks. I really like the scarf in the back pocket. It's a small detail but real cool. I like that people are taking inspiration from male fashion. I think stylish men get overlooked sometimes.
I definitely have a thing for men’s ankles 🔥 I always carry a handkerchief but the back pocket is definitely a cute place to keep it. I love both looks but the second one is especially fun because it looks so huggable!

What a wonderful example of how footwear can change the entire look of an outfit. Loved both shoes for first outfit but the loafers with the micro cuff were so eye catching Alyssa. I watched this video before getting dressed yesterday and ended up wearing my black jeans with the tiny turned-up cuff, my black leather belt, black loafers, a light blue menswear shirt I bought months ago and hadnʻt worn yet and rolled up the sleeves, I added a black neck scarf with small white polka dots and even had the silk pocket handkerchief -- the right shade of blue, with a small black houndstooth pattern which I folded just right and stuck (unexplainedly) in the back pocket. Kind of like I combined both looks into one. Thank you!! I felt tres chic all day long.

Back in the day( my) days past🤣 70's the men young and old would use a pocket scarf/ handkerchief in their back pocket, especially in the hot summer days. It was a trend that was useful and cool. Seems like this is a nod to city style back then. Nice!!

I can offer an insight into the handkerchief...in Japan, most people carry a handkerchief (especially now, during COVID) as more often than not, there are no paper towels/air towels in public toilets. Maybe he does actually use it! I have an awesome collection of practical towelling handkerchiefs(no ironing)!! but in the back pocket, silk would be best!

Oh this is about taking on menswear inspirations and making it our own. First look was pretty good but you needed a looser and long pair of pant to complete this vibe but the second was a no for me because as soon as you choose the shorts it was a strike out. the outfit would of had a chance if the shorts were loose fitting Bermuda length. I really like the idea of the peep of a handkerchief look of the back pocket. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

Just found a great dress in my closet that I had bought in Mallorca a number of years ago when I was slimmer! It still fit! I was surprised and it looks pretty good! My figure is a bit different now, but the dress has stretch and adjusted! I almost gave it away, but it was unique! Might wear it for my birthday dinner! Found a load of jewellery too! Having a blast doing this!
