so far I tried playing with this Glitch it seems: MIRV works generally well, yet overkill on automatic weapons, great for single shot/semi-automatic. Gamma Gun - Deep Dish/Zeta & Lorenzo's artifact works quite well too, especially on Minigun, Radium Rifle - changes projectile to that of the Gamma gun, still gonna try on more weapons - perfect for people who want to role play as Children of Atom followers. - note it looks weird on Shotguns as the barrel & stock goes through the dish, but does shoot multiple projectiles with each shot. Deep Dish works on any gun type weapon so far I used it on but appearance might be bad on some. Minigun - Missile launcher Quad Barrel - increases Magazine size - basicly like never ending effect on a minigun. Baseball Bat - Baton - Stun mod of the baton works. Flamer & Laser Musket - adds the crank to the weapon decreasing magazine size, don't seem to use the cranking mechanism, changes Flames into Laser that sets still people on fire, increases range by a lot, going to try it out more when I find a Neverending Flamer.
Khremv's tooth + ripper. To do it you have to remove the mod for the machete then put the machete on top and do the glitch to put it back onto the ripper.
Bare in mind guys that LEGENDARY WEAPONS CANNOT BE THE SOURCE WEAPON (as they cannot be scrapped). The weapon you're sourcing the mod from must be able to be scrapped, otherwise it will not work.

Use thumb to press A If it stays in weapon menu slide your thumb to press b, while keeping a pressed. You will avoid scrapping and a very tedious loading screen
Still works. Just used this glitch to make my very own Warhammer-style Chain Sword out of a Ripper and a Serrated Machete. It even has a neat little folding animation when it's drawn and sheathed. Definitely gonna experiment with this more. Update 5-13-24: Still works post next-gen update (plus the recent patch for said update) on Xbox Series X/S.

i have gotten it to work pretty good. i now have a nuclear pipe pistol, light reciever, cuz anything automatic/mirv is just a game freezer. i wanted a missle/combat rifle. i got the barrels on, but it still shot bullets. having the quad barrel did give me 100 bullets per mag tho. if you hit the left stick down, right after you push the 2 buttons at the same time (once you get it once, it's easy) you can access the 2nd slot in the menu and add a targeting computer, then you get missles. 100, homing, missles. it takes up half the screen, but i went and blew up dunwich borers and it was super fun.
Ooooohhhh my god, I put Lorenzo's artifact on the thirst zapper! XD It still uses water as ammo so it's unlimited, and this also works with the fatman mirv mod!!!
Use the Gamma Dish. greater AOE, MORE DAMAGE, plus the knockback helps. and it doesn't crash my PS4, even after raking up 21 days worth of game data (The loading screens are as bad as you might expect, but that's got nothing to do with the gun)
To explain it: you trick the game into thinking you're modding the first weapon (which you scrapped a millisecond before), while actually modding the 2nd weapon. Because the specific mods (like the MIRV) are tied to an ammunition type, the actually modified weapon now shoots the ammo tied to the mod.

I've done three main things that worked well: a 10mm pistol that fires harpoons, I put the missile launcher quad barrel upgrade on the alien blaster which for some reason made it automatic and gave it like 180 shot mag, and my Magnum opus is the nuka world squirt gun with mirv upgrade Edit, for shotgun builds: harpoon gun flechettes on a combat shotgun works, seems good, though the flechettes replace the magazine, so the magazine is locked at 8 A weird one: with the combat rifle, harpoons don't affect damage but flechettes have shotgun spread hipfire, and they all pack Laser beam accurate together when zoomed
Most combinations do not actually change the fire type of the weapon and instead change the aesthetic look. One combination that will work for sure is pretty much any ballistic weapon with the gamma gun.
I've spent a few days now combing through all the combos and this is easily my favorite: 0 - Sub-Machine Gun 1 - Explosive Combat Shotgun Then combine the new weapon AGAIN: 0 - Gauss Rifle 1 - Explosive Sub-Machine Shotgun This thing is so over-powered!

+Steve Radroach Actually the legendary effects of kremvh's tooth is not on the weapon itself, the effects are on a unique modifier for a machete called "Sacrificial Blade". If you take the modifier off the machete and keep it in your inventory, then do the glitch with a regular machete it should give you the option to equip the "Sacrificial Blade" on the weapon. Sorry I didn't clear that up.

Steve Radroach A mirv works just like on every weapon it seems, besides that I haven't really tried it all that much. The only other I know of is if you put a harpoon gun into the blaster it will fire harpoons which you can shoot at a wall pick up and they will give you the Alien Blaster rounds or Fusion Cells back (which ever mag you have equipped), and sometimes the harpoon will stay in the wall at that point you can just infinitely click it and it will give you all the AB or FC rounds you could ever need!
Try the basic Flamer as 1 and the basic Gamma Gun as 0 and Obviously do the glitch and then the Flamer just sprays out the Gamma round using the Flamer fuel everywhere and it doesn't crash your game it's a must have!
yes, this does still work, and auto pipe pistol mirv launchers still freeze the game. you really do need everything before "A" out of your inventory. i was doing it before and it would glitch onto a 10mm round... any good combo ideas?

I use Gamma Gun Deep Dish barrel attached on Two Shot 10mm Pistol, made it full auto and 12 magazine making it into Lucio's Soundwave gun from Overwatch.
a fully upgraded Plasma Gun and a combat rifle (not upgraded). plasma gun being 1, combat 0, and morph. then after that, put a automatic barrel on it and it's invisible
Plasma splitter minigun. The recoil is ridiculous. Also flamer plasma barrel put on a laser musket makes you have the ability to crank it over 300 times.

I put two splitters and mirv conversion on it. It took ten minutes for the sounds to go back to normal
If you put away all your ammo before doing this glitch it works with every weapon. If not it tends to mess up when doing it with certain weapons.

Nuka Nuke on a combat shotgun fire's 8 Nukes for the price of one. And fire's them like a standed fat man launcher as well.

Imagine all armor being 110. So hat, army fatigues, and 5 armor pieces is.... 770 BR and ER. But with the perks that make it plus 50, it would be 820 BR and ER. I think that's more than T-45, right?

EVERYONE, GET THE LE FUSIL TERRIBLES SHOTGUN (make sure you put the receiver you want first) AND RENAME IT 1, THEN GET A REGULAR GAMMA GUN AND NAME IT 0, DO THE GLITCH, YOUR WELCOME
please make some kind of walk-through for making more complicated combinations, like the missile launching pipe machine gun you showed.

I use Gamma Gun Deep Dish barrel attached on Two Shot 10mm Pistol, made it full auto and 12 magazine making it into Lucio's Soundwave gun from Overwatch.

+Cartoberetis mirv is the scatter nuke mod for the Farman launcher and I made a shot gun that fires them so I now call it the shotMIRV

a fully upgraded Plasma Gun and a combat rifle (not upgraded). plasma gun being 1, combat 0, and morph. then after that, put a automatic barrel on it and it's invisible
Plasma splitter minigun. The recoil is ridiculous. Also flamer plasma barrel put on a laser musket makes you have the ability to crank it over 300 times.
