A lot of these seem to have been carried over from Skyrim.

pretty sure fallout 4 is on the skyrim engine so it makes sense.
tomamymel Yeah, it is. And Skyrim for that matter is based on a heavily modified Oblivion engine, which is an updated version of the Morrowind engine.

This is a Bethesda game. Walking into a bucket will send you into orbit.

when I walk into cars it kills me and my companions, even when we are set to essential. Then when I respawn it drops cars from the sky and launches jist about everything they hit into orbit. Best of all, this does not kill the NPCs that take like 30 seconds to land.
But that's why we love it

would it really be a Bethesda game without an item duplication glitch
I genuinely believe that when they playtest their games, bethesda purposefully leaves in funny, non-game-breaking glitches at this point simply because they know how much their fans seem to love them
given the wall walking in this one, that may be true. but how the fuck they missed the cryo glitch is beyond me

The cryo gun isnt really game breaking. Ammo is pretty limited if you aren't using other exploits or console commands, and its a big gun, which don't seem to be super popular
i completely believe that they leave in stuff like the Cyro glitch because they know that it's not gamebreaking and anyone who planned to do it would find a way to, even without the glitch.

Its my special secret, if you put your feet inside the ground the terminal will automatically let you in. Works every time.

I've never felt so unlucky for NOT running into any glitches.
I'm 40 hours in and the only glitch I've seen is the infinitely splashing water.
+MushyBird McMushington (the Mushiest of Birds) this is realy common, and not realy a glitch , its a object barerly entering water so it play the animation over and over again.
Even so, it os just that the object barely enters so the game can't decide if it is in the water or not. So it plays the splash animation as if it entered, then thinks it is grounded, then sees it as having entered the water again.

It's not a bug it's a feature
It's actually around 47 times you need to duplicate the "you're special" book in order to get all the perks.
Done it a week ago using the manufacturing DLC.

First time I ever played Fallout 4, the Deathclaw got stuck in a refrigerator
Night Hawk the first time I played a fallout game, I owned a deathclaw with ONE bullet

Once I played fallout 4 shot a raider in the head and he flew into the sky to the point that I couldn't see so I lost some loot that day
Night Hawk once I stood in the glowing sea and a death claw tried to smack me but it jumped on my head and started punching the air, he's actually still stuck on my head an it's hilarious
On my first Fallout 4 play through, I was speeding through while the Minutemen where talking about the power armor and mini gun, I didn't hear that, so I didn't get them. So here comes out little Connor, with a Pipe Pistol, 10 millimeter pistol, and a Laser Musket with 12 ammo to fight a giant Deathclaw. This is my first Fallout game so I didn't know what a Deathclaw was. So I was hiding in a building, crapping my pants, shooting at a Deathclaw, doing virtually no damage. It took me like 45 minutes

youre lucky. new Vegas deathclaws are stress and anxiety.
fallout 3's deathclaws are nothing compared to the ones in new vegas.

One thing I noticed about Deathclaws: if you use a weak enough weapon, you can break off their tails after a while. Once the tails have dropped, the game still treats them as part of the living Deathclaw, so you can keep attacking the tail at your leisure until the Deathclaw is dead.

That reminds me of the time I was building in Sanctuary, and a nearby Pack Bramin just started walking up into the sky. I swear I almost expected there to be a UFO overhead, but alas, there was not.
Had Pack Brahmin and Provider fall out of the sky right in front of me in my Starlight Drive In settlement. Not to mention the dpzens of times they get stuck on roofs, in walls in otherwise closed rooms and inadvertendly ruin your carefully placed decorations... unless you use a mod for that. Because of that, I do barely any decorations.

You could always just hide in some of the buildings then shoot him while he tries to get at you. Sometimes he'll run off somewhere, but you can lure him back by just leaving said building.
You forget the classic Bethesda glitch the dead body in a door of some sort and close it

Just yesterday I was sniping Mutants near Diamond City, when I turned around to Hancock floating with his hands up in the air. I backed up just to see him slide over to me, wave his hands and do this lil ballerina thing, while having a pistol stuck on his ring finger. I was laughing like stupid doing back-circles with Hackock literally dancing to chatch up. Still can not top seeing mama murphy jump from the roof to fly away on a car.

I always love glitches and I'm sad when they fix them... As long as it's not a game breaking one they are actually the ones that keep me playing around and exploring the world even more to see if I find something someone else hasn't yet.
Oh and btw. if you run against the sand sacks that are like stuck in the ground (not the sack walls) they will literally explode and make a satisfying sound

I found a deathclaw near vault 75 that just waits patiently for you. He's not frozen, because his head follows you and you can see his breathing. He waits for you to make the first attack, and then he turns into a normal deathclaw.

I always get brahmin on my roof.
For some reason I always got Preston and mama Murphy on the roof and sometimes other settlers.
I putted a bed in a house on the sanctuary,and the npcs that splet on it,were going on the roof,so i had to put a ladder just to get up there
I got Brahmin and settlers in cages with wasteland workshop.
i ended making a stair to go on the roof of that house to speak to npc that was always stuck there XD

The carry weight companion glitch can also be used with bodies and containers. If you command them to inspect a body or container, they take everything. Sometimes you have to make them do it multiple times to get everything, but they will do it.
You said may contain spoilers, but as someone who had yet to see the game this doesn't seem spoiled in the slightest. Just makes me wanna get it even more now! :)

I still will get my lockpicking skill up to Master. Worth it.
And the splashing glitch? Seen it many, many times. Especially with Feral Ghouls or Mirelurks.
9:54 the floating glitch happens with weapons in Skyrim too, mostly two-handed , I know because it always happens to me

When I started my first profile the deathclaw at the start glitched into it's little hole, shot up into the air and died from fall damage. all before I could even get to it.
Thatguy 4643 I was shooting a raider, shot and blew up a car, and apparently that killed the deathclaw before I even knew he was there, with the pistol found in the vault and no power suit/minigun. This game is broken af but fun as hell anyway.
I never knew about that duplication glitch! Interesting. . .seems like Dogmeat is definitely a good companion to have if you need to create the barrels of stuff your other companions will be hauling around for you. XD And I've had that weird swimming glitch pose happen, not to me, but to Preston! He reset after I traveled into and out of a couple of cells, though. Good times, good times. . .

+Pink Dreemurr These are just the ps4 version lol, pc version has an entire quarry that loads random bad textures over the proper ones, theres a caravan with some power armour in it with a master lock on the door you can just teleport into by entering the power armour through the window, empty out the caravan and fast travel out of with a new set of power armour.

Martin Vortex Scorpion Idk, OoT is glitchier than Fallout 4 (at least right now) and OoT is longer, though OoT's are more activated than Fallout 4's.

Some of the glitches I’ve encountered in 2022:
- Sanctuary Hills quest from Sturges objective [Build beds for the settlers (60%)] can randomly appear on screen randomly even after completing the quest.
- Sanctuary Hills has random morale drops.
- Cars sometimes become death traps and if you collide with them you can be killed by collision damage.
- Water sometimes doesn’t have particles from the little waves when you run or swim, but it’s moved so it looks like a ghost is following you.
- Immortal Radroach. A radroach hides inside a metal bin, making it immune to bullets and melee.
- NPCs standing on top of houses that can’t be normally accessed.
- People getting stuck in walls.
The glitch where the workout bench barbell just starts on its own, like a ghost is getting their workout on is one of my favorite.
In my game I killed a gunner and reentered the room and the arm glitched through the floor started spinning so I recorded it I of course gave him an honorable death with the thirst zapper

I mean common glitches every game has glitches but Bethesda games have a lot if glitches so many that it's impossible to go through a play through and not run into at least 20 I started a game of fallout 4 a few days ago and I got a glitch where when you do the quest "jewel of The Commonwealth " when arriving at diamond city the security would randomly start shooting at me and my companion would try to kill me as well

I'm over 80 hours into Fallout 4 on the ps4 & haven't experienced any significant bugs & only a few really minor ones.

+5 Volt i speak from a modded PC version of the game : my game had no game breaking bug, only small visual or scripted bug. the distance a follower can be away of you is realy realy realy small, i see them teleporting all of the time.
You're lucky... I'm less than 60 in and I've experienced a countless amount of glitches... It's fun when it works, though.

Last time I played (a year ago max) the item drop-companion grab, oscillating objects, and frozen crows were all still there. I’ve deadass lost count of how many times I’ve use that first one and been extremely grateful

Nardo :3 still false. It's barley a weapon considering most of the time you have to freeze people then shoot them. It weighs too much, and its ammo isnt very common

Kind of surprised there was no mentions of soft locks. I have never played Fallout 4 with jumping into a crevice and not being able to move. Can’t walk or jump because I’m considered airborne, can’t fast travel for the same reason. It is so annoying if you haven’t saved in a while and then get stuck with literally no way of moving.

Land swimming/water walking is still unfixed 3 years later, even on PC. Was doing the settlement mission for the robot-run farmstead where you have to fix their water issue, went to the water pumps with Preston, and he started walking underwater right into Mirelurks (unable to shoot) and kept dying. Then when we got out on land and killed all the Mirelurks, he started swimming over land.

In my game when the minutemen were walking to Sanctuary, Preston Garvey glitched a few feet through the floor and I used console commands to get to him. Then, he kept flying up and teleported back to the ground.

On this channel, everyone is being a good sport talking about all the fun glitches. On other channels, people are bitching about how the glitches ruin the game. I think I know which party I wanna stick around at. The one with land swimming.

+MikeyTaylorGaming I don't mind that too much, because they can patch them out after releasing the game, and they don't have to spend a whole lot of time looking for the glitches. They can just release the buggy game, let the consumer find the glitch, make a video like this one, and fix the bugs from there. Lazy? Maybe. Efficient? I think so. In any case, fancy seeing you here, man. I also enjoy your videos. :D

It's a large scale game so it's somewhat acceptable.
So I died and went back to my previous save in the general atomic galleria and all of a sudden everything except trees,the ground,and npcs fly all over the place cars like 50 feet in the air, cars in the floor, stuff glitched inside tables dead mirelurks in the trees, and stuff everywhere.I don't remember getting into power armor and it teleporting like seven feet to the right of my character.

Parkour dinosaur 58 they made the game. But the testers failed to find those glitches. So Technicly its our fault for not reporting it. We make the game after they release it. How I look at it at least.

I remember freaking someone out when I tried to jump glitch at 7:00 one time while streaming. After that, I was showing them other glitches..... Good times
I have a recurring glitch. In any settlement build several weight benches. The settlers like these but apparently so do ghosts because I've had benches that just operate on their own. No one seems to notice. It's hilarious!
I had a game breaking glitch in Fallout 4. My pipboy became invisible and I couldn't do much.

I have tonnes of mod s and I get the glitch very often.
Usually the glitch I used to have sometimes would be the random rotating insides/arms/legs of npcs I shot or random items like boxes etc
I had that splash glitch when playing with the Fetal Nights mod, it went away afterward but two ghouls were splashing infinitely at the edge of a river.
Around the water treatmentplant there is a flying yellow car, and indeed my all time fav the Flippin red one 😂
