Hi. Before Cimatron, I worked with Edgecam for 7 years. When we bought this big machine, we also bought a license for Cimatron. We have Cad/Cam 3x machining. All basic model formats+ catia. I have been working with cimatron for 8 years. But I don't know the price. I think it was more than 20 thousand, but I'm just a worker, I'll tell you this.
What influences your decision to cut dry or not is it just for filming or just when its possible? I recently subscribed after buying myself hyperMill id love to break into mold manufacturing
Ahoj, mužů se zeptat proč nepoužíváte tvrdokove vrtáky nebo destickove s vnitřním chlazením ? Má to nějaký technologický důvod ? Jinak parádní video jako vždy.
Dík. Máme tvrdokovové vrtáky do priemeru 20. Takto do nekaleného materiálu ide aj hss vrták a tých je dosť tak používame tie. Na tých pár dierach nejako čas nezískame.

For example in aerospace you often see diameters precise to .005mm, thicknesses within .1mm and surface finish requires Roughness Average below 125RA. No steps or tool mismatches are allowed to pass QC.

For that kind of parts Cimatrom is much better than Mastercam. Many years ago I used to work with Cimatron 13. Was very good.

Today, dry machining is preferred. I use liquid for finishing if possible.
High feed cutters are recommended to cut with only air coolant.

This one is SK 50 on SK 40 but I doubt it exists on HSK40 as well
