Michael Ironside is just awesome in any role for any film. Even Colin Salmon who is an associate of Odenkirk's Nobody plays a James Bond type figure and of course appeared in Brosnan Era Bond films.
I like it. It was the best movie along with John Wick and I wish one day they would team up to killed thugs for the upcoming movie from their universe.

It's hard to explain but John Wick got his movies titled John Wick when he was supposed to be Nobody. Nobody was a rough draft for John Wick but decided to make both
I love this movie so much. Fun fact: Bob Odenkirk says the training for this movie and how fit he got is probably what saved his life when he had the heart attack
I love that this movie is one of the rare ones where they go out of their way to show the villain as an unrepentant sociopath, but then casually reveal that the hero is *way* crazier.
I love the casting in this movie. Odenkirk's married to Connie Nielson, his dad is Christopher Lloyd, his father in law is Michael Ironside and his brother is RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan. That's like the most bad ass family ever lol.
Such a good movie. I watched it on HBO Max a month back and loved the whole practicality of the action sequences. I was just amazed to see Christopher Lloyd in a action film playing Bob Odenkirk's onscreen father. It had the some of the stunt team from John Wick such as Daniel Bernhardt and Alain Moussi as they appeared in the bus fight scene with Bob Odenkirk. Daniel Bernhardt is the one that trained Bob in preparation for the role.
I love how this was kind of the opposite of John Wick. John got dragged back into a life he didn't want any part of anymore, while here you have someone who just want an excuse to go back to his old life haha
Wow what an awesome surprise! I absolutely love the cinematography of this movie which is not what I was expecting at all going into it. Bob Odenkirk is a legend for doing all his own stunts!
My favorite lines in this movie comes when Christopher Llyod comes out of that door blasting away to help Bob Odenkirk. Hutch: "You brought a lot of shotguns." Pop: "You brought a lot of Russians." I laughed so hard when I first heard those lines.
This was GREAT in theaters! The creativity for the shots and combat in this movie plus the pace set by editing was so extraordinary. Enjoyed the reaction/review 👍
Fun fact: the hacker at 14:34 is played by the director's wife. She also works in film and has a distinguished career herself. She also had a small role in his previous known movie, Hardcore Henry
One of the best 'show, don't tell' moments that let's you know just how much of a secret badass Hutch was, came when the Vietnam veteran in the tattoo shop saw the ink on Hutch's wrist and thanked him for his service, went into the back room, and locked 7 locks then closed the viewing portal. The rest of the guys in the shop saw that and changed their tune based on that guy's reaction to the man. That one tiny exchange tells you more than 90 seconds of expository dialogue could've.
And the playing cards tattoo he notices is a 7 and a 2, otherwise known as the worst statistical hand in poker. We don't really learn much about Hutch's regiment but it subtly hints that they were expected to win even with the worst hand possible or insufficient support/preparation. Love this movie. also, I like to wonder how he got out of that room after being locked in 🤣spare keys or did the vet come back to let them out?
It was exactly what I look for in this more recent, ultra violent type, action movie genre. Nothing overly complex or creative other than the fight choreography or a few wacky camera shots. Simple and effective! If they want to build it into a franchise they just slowly put the pieces on the table over time. I'll continue to eat this stuff up as it is always fun escapism from the real world when needed.
19:39 "Baddest-ass needle drop of all time!" No actually, that comes a little while later with Heartbreaker. Seriously, everybody always talks about the bus fight in this movie, and yes it's amazing, but the car chase is easily in my top 10 favorite action scenes of all time.

Funfact: 2 guys who came up to kill Lloyd 1 is the director of the movie 2 is popular russian singer, who is friend of director. Ilya made a lotr of clips for him
This was a treat to watch in theatres. Bob Odenkirk as a hardened, aged, and jaded assassin gives audiences more bang for their buck than what they expected.
The wiping of the white board fits perfectly with the character. He's enjoying this chaos and murder! So now and then you see him smirk, or do something unnecessary but fun, that's literally Hutch having the time of his life
I know that Nobody came out in 2021... But I'm still angry that we don't already have a Nobody 2. I loved the John Wick movies, but there is just something special about seeing Bob Odenkirk murdering everyone. It is so satisfying.
LMAO that little girl is precious. Although it didn't show in the reaction, go back and look at her little face smiling proudly up at her father as the door closes when he says 'Don't call 911' 😂💕
This is one of the most enjoyable action movies in a long time. Its up there with John Wick obviously but I think it also compares extremely well with some classics like Commando and those kinds of movies. I really hope we can get sequels to this, as long as Bob Odenkirk's health isn't an issue. I know people have heart attacks and can keep doing well health wise - but he really worked out and got in serious shape for this movie, I don't know if that would be an issue moving forward for him and this hopefully new franchise.

The reason the mob boss was so messed up after the explosion was he had a claymore charge detonate about 2 feet directly in front of his face, it’s full of plastic explosive and ball bearings in the side that says “front towards enemy” so it’ll essentially shred anything in front of it, they’re usually meant to be used as an anti-infantry mine at about ankle level, likely won’t immediately kill you but say goodbye to your shins forever
