I love Bob Odenkirk. I took film studies as an elective specifically because the professor knew Bob Odenkirk and would have him speak to the class during a Zoom call. I was really disappointed when the teacher told the class that he wouldn't be able to do it that term so instead he had to pay David Koechner (Champ Kind from Anchorman) on Cameo to show up an talk to us for an hour. Koechner was cool to talk to but he's no Odenkirk

Back during Breaking Bad days, when Bob was saying how much he loved being uncomfortable, on the ground, either spitting sand that gusting wind was blowing into his face on a freezing night for his big introduction scene, or being beat up in his office, and really just relishing the gritty side of filmmaking, I had no idea he was gonna wanna take it this far, and over a decade later, hahaha!
It must have been a while since Jeremy saw John Wick becuase that movie isnt constant action either, in fact there are only a handful of action sequences throughout the first movie, it was really the sequels that upped the action.

Nobody:
Literally nobody:
The best action movie since the first John Wick !!! Bob you nailed it !! If John Wick is on vacation, better call Saul !! ;-) Excellent director, original ideas and great music !! Plus his dad was legendary doc from Back to the future Christopher Lloyd !!! Just imagine if they make Bob Odenkirk and Keanu Reeves play in the same movie !! That would be awesome !!!
PSA: Derek Kolstad wrote the screenplay for Nobody, as well as the John Wick trilogy. Felt like I should bring it up since Jeremy kept talking about the similarities
John Wick, Equalizer, & Accountant should have a shared universe.
Best scene in the movie was the bad guy's IT expert finding out who Nobody is and quitting on the spot.
Jeremy's old intro feels very nostalgic.
One of the best action films in a long long long time. Original as heck and badass
I hadn’t seen a movie in the theatre since Sonic came out and the pandemic hit. Glad I trekked 50 minutes to the nearest open theatre for this.
I like the simple storyline and the insane chill John Wick fight style
They should make a sequel called somebody
And next sequel: "once told me"
then if they made too much sequel the title will be
"Anybody?"
And trilogy finale : "oh! That guy."

I just love it that the symbol for Hushs company on his mug is a Wexler-McGill Easteregg from Better Call Saul :D
The
Nobody:
Comments were so popular they made a movie about it.
Cant wait for the sequel “Not a Single Soul” that should be dope
Glad to see this reviewed, already high on my top 10 for the year.
Scene that got my laughing was when his daughter said that she was thinking about cat and he was like me too....Maan that had dying cause I know he wasn't talking bout no kitty cat lol
This movie was E-P-I-C !
Please Nobody team up with Baba Yaga !
And Doc Brown made this a gold material.
Jeremy, speaking of Falling Down...that would be an awesome older movie for you to review
Yes, I love that movie
Commenting for the algorithm to support Jeremey
Loved it. It's going to sit next to my John Wick Trilogy for sure.
Loved it so much I’m gonna finally watch the John Wick trilogy

Rob my house: Fine
Wait, my Daughters kitty cat bracelet: Nah fam they crossed the line XD
Back during Breaking Bad days, when Bob was saying how much he loved being uncomfortable, on the ground, either spitting sand that gusting wind was blowing into his face on a freezing night for his big introduction scene, or being beat up in his office, and really just relishing the gritty side of filmmaking, I had no idea he was gonna wanna take it this far, and over a decade later, hahaha!
It must have been a while since Jeremy saw John Wick becuase that movie isnt constant action either, in fact there are only a handful of action sequences throughout the first movie, it was really the sequels that upped the action.
Love the review! Nobody looked and sounded great on a Dolby AMC screen -- I was totally loving it!
