  • This YONEX VCORE 95 is a very good and fun tennis racket. It ticks all the boxes.
    Create top spin is easier than with the 98 version, control is exceptional and the stiffness is on point. Overall a wonderful tennis racket.

    Very good review. I play the 95 my self and love it. I think it is a great raquet for al shots on the court. No special shot but all very sollit. Great new shape and great changes.

    Great video! Would love to see your thoughts on the prestige tour.(old prestige pro) Seems like it could pack a little more pop and it'd be interesting how it compares to this vcore 95, the prostaff 97 and the Gravity Pro even.

    Thanks for the review.
    Are you still playing with Radical MP 360+? (I do).
    If so, how would you compare these two (YVC 95 vs. Radical MP)?
    Thanks, again.

      Completely different rackets.
      Vcore 95 is heavier and harder to play
      less spin but also less stiff.
      The Radical MP is easier to generate power and spin with.

      @@servingaces The red 2019 one? My coach uses that and it suits me very well as I play very flat and with little spin! I really like to go through the court and the feel was very nice 👌🏽

    What string and tension do you recommend with this racquet?

    • @servingaces
      @servingaces  Рік тому +2

      Very difficult question because everybody is different. I can really only tell what I would do.
      I would use a string that is more spinfriendly like a Head Lynx Tour or an RPM Blast or Rough or something as I want to have a little more top spin from this frame. I would not go above 25kg as it is already very low powered. Maybe around 23kg I would be optimal! Hope that helps ;)

    I think this frame is quite difficult to play with and it provides a lot of power of the player in order to get the most out of it. Also, it is far from precise. The Vcore 95 2021 was way better for pin point precision and control. I would prefer the Vcore Pro 100 2021 instead of this frame of you are looking for the characteristics that this Vcore has. Then you'll kind of get the same , but with a bigger sweetspot and easier plow through. Maybe a bit less stable at net but is negligible imo. This frame dissapointed me a lot, especially coming from the VC95 '21, which has exactly all those things that you look for in a 95: control, precision, touch. I do have to say that this VC95 23 has a bigger surface which makes it hit like a 97, even more than a VC95 '21. But if you are looking for an update on the VC '21? Then don't expect is. This is a completely different frame.

    Spin really has more to do with your technique than the racquet, I would focus on that first mate

    • @servingaces
      @servingaces  Рік тому +2

      That is true. But I know that when I play with a Pure Aero that I get more spin than with a Vcore95 or a ProStaff 97. I notice that 😉 Because the rackets a very different and made for different purposes. But thanks for that advice. I was just saying that if I want to switch to a racket on clay I need more spin from a racket than I can generate with this VCORE.

    • @MaiTizzle
      @MaiTizzle Рік тому

      @CH-yp5by Yes. Nevertheless if you compare a Pure Aero 100 with with an Ezone 100 spin-wise, it’s a fact that you don’t generate the same Spin with the same stroke and technique. You have to adapt your stroke and technique to use the full spin potential of a racket. With some rackets like the Aero or Extreme Tour its easier to produce spin with a normal stroke. With other rackets it seems harder and you have to work more for a higher amount of spin.
      So you’re not fully wrong, but you ain’t fully right either ;)

    • @servingaces
      @servingaces  Рік тому +1

      @@MaiTizzle Yes you are right. It is combination of the racket and technique for sure. It also the differents strokes. I can generate way easier top spin on the forehands than on the backhand. That is not true for all of us but for me is that way. So there is more to it than the racket itself. ;)
