Yep! Waiting for this review from a Yonex fan perspective, thanks Harry and coach Gu!!
Hi. Do you have the 2 piece stringing instructions for the new Yonex Core 95?
what's your thinking comparing this new Vcore 95 2023 with Dunlop Cx Tour 16x19 and Prince Tour 95 Ats?
i own the 2018 95, and i am glad to hear i am still have it and no need to get a newer 95
If I send you my 2018 Vcore 95, could I get the grommets/guard replaced??? Play test
Thanks for posting the review sooo quickly! Wish you could have brought in Coach Chris and Rob in this review!
Rob only compares every racket with the Wilson stuff
Like for the amount of love for Wilson he has he should get a sponsorship by them
While it is a very satisfying racket to hit with, isn't a more "tweener" racket such as PA (maybe the 98 if looking for better control) or Radical MP better choice than this?
do you think this version does lack control ?
If yall are serious about makin a trade for a 2018 vcore 95 id be down! Love the vids boys keep up the great work!
Any plans to review the new 98 and 100?
How do you compare this with prestige auxetic pro? which one will be better for a player with big flat serve, flat/ moderate spin backhand and lots of spin in forehand, ( I play with Prostaff 315gr V13 and I feel it a bit unstable sometimes).
i was wondering the samething too myself
@@rennardyjuwana7254 I believe that head has more control, less spin access, but probably more confort... I am going to test Yonex as soon as arrives in Mexico and I tell you, but head prestige pro is good.
@@andonivr so I've heard, some more than capable players are using Head Prestige which implies that its good but I want to know more about Yonex because most people say that their quality is good due to being made in Japan. I never used Yonex so I really don't know but I've tried Head, Wilson, and Babolat and over all those three I pick Head for sure.
@@rennardyjuwana7254 I used old yonex, quality is good too. But on this particular models I am not sure which one is better (depends on each players game), in terms of quality I believe pretty similar.
The 2021 version is controversial. I find some people hate it and some think it's the greatest racquet ever made. I got one a year ago and at first I had trouble getting used to the very different feel but when I got used to it and let the racquet do what it wanted to do it just seemed to come alive in my hand it it just wants to play for you. If you can figure it out it just becomes a deadly weapon because it has punch and surgical like accuracy on my shots. I have to say i'm on the side of those who say the 2021 is a legendary racquet. Oh and I just got the 2023 version to compare.
I agree that the 2021 version is one of the best 95 rackets. I’ve been trying the 2023 version spec’ed to my 2021 version(leather grip, overgrip, Sampras power strips at 10&2, Head Lynx Tour 1.25 at 50lbs). The end result is 350g static weight, 340 swing weight, 31.5cm balance. It doesn’t play the same as my 2021 frame. The key difference being the 61 RA versus 64 in the 2021 and the frame geometry changes. Yonex have simply ruined the core DNA of the VCore in my opinion 🤔
@@bsinghgill Yeah what they did with the new one is make it more like the Vcore 98 it has less of that hitting the ball with a wet noodle feel that gives you more control. The new one is a good racket but not the same.
Easier than pro staff 97?
I'm confused. Didn't they say they liked the 2021 version back in their review?
I’m confused too. I remember everyone being over the moon for the 2021 and never heard much about the 2018.
Yes, true. With so many racket versions, on one hand it is difficult to follow the trail, and on the other it seems that there is always "something to say", and in reality, changes are very marginal in the majority of the cases.
Nevertheless, I enjoy the channel pretty much!
they liked the 2021 98 in. and 100 in. version, but the 95 in wasnt that well recieved
@@rivenzeed6407 I just looked over the 2021 Vcore 95 review and this is not true. Andrew and Gu both said they liked it and that it's similar to the 2019. Said they may consider switching. Harry said "just buy it". I'm posting this comment for the 3rd time 'cause it seems to not post every time I submit.
You should look at this as entertainment not a proper review. Of course it's bullshit. I mean what else would you expect - the man sells racquets for a living.
Is the 2018 Vcore the all-red, or are you referring to SV95 (Shapovalov's racket)?
its the all red one
What is couch gu's current racket?
any benefits of using a 95in racket vs a 100in?
Better control and faster racquet head speed. Trade off is small sweet spot. Depends on your level and style of play.
I still play the 2018 vcore 95, have 3 of them 😎
Interested in selling one of them? I am ready to buy one.
who is the camera man? bc Harry never mentioned about the camera guy. just curious.
I thought his nickname was flap jack forehand master
Hey! I got 2018 (all red) vcore 95. I will trade with the new 95 👍🏻
Is Shapovalov using the 2023 Vcore? Thought he just switched to an Ezone...
It seems like he was with the 2022 ezone yes last year for half the year or whatever it was, and then tried the 2021 vcore 95 before using a blacked out 2023 vcore 95 before its commercial version release.
Tommy Paul is using itFTW
I do have one to trade, so how does logistics to Germany works 😂
Easier than gravity pro?
defender. I bought gravity pro at first, didn’t like at all. Than i bought ezone 98 and vcore 95, way better sticks.
I'm sorry but this is nothing at all like my prostaffs lol. Adds way more spin than a prostaff and diff strike angle
Shape is teardrop.
Egg!
I thought teardrop was a Head thing
@@nikolasb5111 Yes, it was. This shape reminds me of it though. First time I saw it was in the Head Edge.
Compare to my St Vincent prostaff 85, vcore 95 control is bad, too powerful, I just cannot place the ball short, because it's too powerful.
On Video never see a customer in shop
I think because he starts filming really early, but im not sure though.
This is my main stick. Personally I really like this and honeymoon period is well and truly over. But this keeps getting nicer with each hit.
I like mine strung with synthetic gut. In my case Wilson Red Alert. Seems to make sweet spot larger than when using poly, more free power than the poly and still plenty of control from being a 95 head. Different folks, different strokes.....but I think syn gut complements this frame. Multi probably even more so.
I find the vcore95 line WAY easier to play with than any of the prostaff 97 line
Not even similar rackets lmfao
@@Official.tadiwa I think he means that the 97 Headsize from Wilson is more demanding than 95 from Yonex
@@miguelroda8779 the prostsff 97 isn't for recreational.players you need to have your technique down it'd moreso for advanced players to pro players. 95 is way easier to use because its not as demanding or as heavy as a pro staff or as stiff
@@Official.tadiwa I never said the prostaff was every player. 95 Headsize on Yonex feels a bit bigger than 95 on other brands. Many people say it plays like a 97.
hey @tennisspin. I have a brand new Yonex vcore 95 2018 signed by Stan the man. Interested? :D
Gu may switch.
"We all love that old version from 2008 to 2000. I'm sorry, from 2018 to 2000" 😆😆😆, seriously? You're on something, dude?
Their reviews seem to be getting worse and worse. They are the first ones to say it is firmer the flex is way lower then the last one; it went from 65 to 61 RA. They constantly change their minds as well.
