6:52 How much lead did you have to add?
Omg….. I didnt know this. I purchased four vcore 95s + yonex 9 packbag etc… :(
How does this compare to the VCore Pro 97? Specs seems quite similar.
You sell yonex better than Stan winning the French wearing red checker shorts
Hahaha appreciate it
Those shorts are still in my head after all these years. Thanks :)
Great review. I appreciate the detailed description and analysis, as every player is different and looks for different characteristics from their racket. I love a small head size and some weight on my stick, but picked up tennis in my later 30s and consider myself an intermediate league league player. I have really found myself playing best with rackets that have a 97-98 head size and a 322-ish swing weight once strung and with overripe/dampener. I have been playing with the VCORE 98 for the last 1.5 year and feel VERY similarly to how you view the 95. It truly is not the best racket for any one stroke/aspect, but it does everything really well. I am a serve and spin player and always looking for the holy grail for me, but have come to understand that all-around greatness IS better than excellence in 1/2 aspects but weaker in others. It kinda makes sense since you are a PRO and can handle the weight and consistent despite smaller head size. Keep the reviews coming!!
I'm a 3.5 player and demoed tons of racquets. Including the Vcore 98, previous 95, and current 95. The new Vcore 95 is the best racquet I've ever tried. My old Pure Drive feels like a plastic toy compared to the Vcore. I don't think I'll ever play with anything else.
Thanks for having another high quality video!!! It would be nice to see you analyzing your tournament matches Karue!!!
I will do that at some point
You guys are making such amazing Reviews! LOVE that you talk about playability on the different backhands. So important and no one does that realy. A comparison to the Pro Staff v13 would be nice, since they sound quite similar. Also you could use that racquet as a benchmark when comparing it to other racquets. Something like Racquet of the Year vs. X. Agree on that paintjob. Cant believe they have experts for that stuff and than come up with that crap ^^
Switching to this racquet from 2018 version, added few grams on hoop, and much more stable and forgiving than customized 2018 version which was what I was looking for, still cuts through the air very nicely and giving me even more effective one-handed backhand, serves, volleys and slices.. looks also pretty cool with a blue string (using YPTP Blue 16L).
Just now watching all the yonex reviews and I'm loving them! I've been using the Pro Staff 97 and I enjoy it, but I really want to get a vcore 95 as well!
You are the best reviewer of tennisracket. Playing with Vcore 95 old version and i am happy with it. Stringing with Hyper G soft. Mayby switching to the new version later. Keep reviewing. Ola Årsjö Sweden
Best statement of the video: "This racquet adapts to you, and you don't have to adapt to it." I bought two 18x20 Wilson Blades and I constantly feel like I have to adapt my game to the rackets. Same thing with the RF97. It's never felt right to me. I was at Indian Wells in October and they had a racquet demo area so I tried this Yonex 95 and I can't stop thinking about it. My sample size was about 10 minutes of hitting but it instantly felt right to me.
pretty sure everyone would have LOVED to see your tournament matches. no other channel can really offer your level of play and with ATP/WTA matches so few and far between these days...
I wish I had been able to film them
There are some old matches :)
After watching this video, I borrowed a new yonex vcore 95 at my local tennis shop and I was totally blown away with the feel, maneuverability, power, spin and comfortability of the racquet. It felt exactly the same as my pure aero but more comfortable, stable and the feeling at net was great! Holy Smokes! Gonna play with it a few more times before I buy one in case this was just the infamous honeymoon period.
Awesome!!
@@Karueselltennis Oh and the guy at the shop said "usually the yonex 95 is not that popular but all of a sudden everyone wants to try it" He told me one guy came in and bought the yonex ezone tour and just after a few days came back and got a yonex 95 instead... Hmm... I wonder why haha ;)
Haven't tried the 2021 model but I can confirm that the prior version is a solid frame. Less muted than the new version but ultimately personal preference. Great vid
Thank you
thank you for review., they really help! Just ordered vcore 95 bc it suits my game! demo'd and decided to buy:)
Demoing the previous version now (2019?) Added 2.5 gr to 3 and 9 o’clock and 2 gr under the buttcap for stability. 340 gr total weight and 316 mm balance (8.5 points HL) feels great. Got arm pain I’m trying to work through right now. My usual stick is Babolat Pure Storm Ltd with 5 gr added to 3 and 9 (total 350gr and 11 pts HL).
Look forward to your review of the new Dunlop cx 200, and 200 tour 2021 version!
I was thinking the same. With its higher sw, the 200 looks like the vcore 98 and the tour like the vcore 95.
I had the same question. How will the dunlop cx200 tour (16×19) compare with the Vcore 95. In the last version most reviewers liked the dunlop more.
Would love a review of the latest Head Prestige MP. Feel free to do a comparison to the Yonex 95 if you wish🤷♂️😉.
+1 to this idea
That sound is absolutely satisfying
Have a good night's rest to whoever uploaded this at 430am! (I'm guessing Karue but don't wanna assume). Or good morning if this was an east coast upload haha.
Scheduled upload, my friend hahah
@@Karueselltennis Didn't even know that was a feature on YT... 😅
I love the vcore rackets they are amazing and have great comfort!!! We use Vcore pro 97 matte green 310g
That’s a great one!
@@Karueselltennis can we travel with you one day to your tournaments😂😂🎾
Move from the 18x20 blade to this frame, partly because of this and a couple of others reviews, it’s a great frame, packs a good amount of power and spin, it’s stable and the balance does wonders on my one hand backhand.
Nice, detailed review. Great job!
Thank you!
Great review thanks 😊 Standard Ezone 98 comparison would be good as unsure why yonex would release such similar frames in the 2 line ups. Both great frames though and possibly the 98 versions of both are what most would be choosing between.
I picked up the vcore sv 95 again a couple of weeks ago.
I did not liked it when i bought it - too much power and a huge lack of feel and connection to my shots.
Decided to give it one more try - added about 5 grams of lead tape at 12 o'clock.
What a difference......
So much more plow-through, and so much better connection to my shots...
I love the fact, that you can add that extra spin when you need it.
And the control, when you're hitting flat.
Can you compare these two rackets?
Great rewiew btw💪👍
I used to love the Yonex 95s however I always wanted one in 27.25 or 27.5 length to get a little more pop without sacrificing the control it offers. The Vcore Tour F 93 was also an amazing racquet if you ever get a chance to test it.
Where can we buy extended vcore?
Hey Karue thanks for the review, I am a 3.5 almost 4.0....leaving the PStaff97 for yonex, I demoed the vcore98 and 95 at the same time of ezone and others...I have to say that maybe its personal but I prefer a lot more the 98 than the 95. The 98 is so forgiving and it has more controllable power, I feel like head light racquets allow me to hit through the ball better and build pace especially when playing against lower ranked players. The 95 weight distribution is different and to me more difficult to adapt to...sometimes I get power out of nowhere other times it just doesn't let me swing fast enough like when playing a defensive shot...pair that with tighter string pattern and its more difficult to apply topspin and keep the ball in the court, add few frames to it and to me makes no sense! So my choice is the vcore98 and I am really happy about it! I think the 95 could be good for 4.5 or higher
Love your channel, man, the way you talk about tennis and all your insights. I will try this raquet. For now i play with ps97l with leather grip and some weights, love the feel and touch, but have some arm issue when i play too long. My bests
Appreciate the support!!
Man,
You almost sold me one !
Hope you've tested the vcp 97 310. SW is low but this is a terrific one.
Would be interested in à comparison between these two. Same weight, same sw, same ra... just the headsize and stringbed are differents.
As I'm considering the switch...
The big question is whether its worth buying the 2021 version over the previous 2018 version given that its about half the price due to the discounts, sales etc.
Hi! I found your review abslutely perfect, you've highligted all the important stuff. Now, I'm currently playing with the Dunlop Srixon CX 200 Tour 16*19 (pre-2021), a raquet very similar to the Vcore 95, reading specs. I've customized my raquets with leather grip and a total of 9 grams of lead (distribuited at 3, 9 and 12). Now, I was considering switching from my dunlop to this Vcore 95. What are the biggest differences, in your opinion? Do you recommend this new Vcore to me? Unfortunately I can't test it here in Italy. What I'm loockng for is just a little more spin friendly stick, with a slightly bigger sweetspot. I'm an all-round player, loving big serve (also in kick) and top spin strokes. Many thanks!
Hello,
I love your UA-cam channel "My Tennis HQ" and I do not miss any of your videos.
I have watched all your tennis racket test videos several times. Your advice to improve your tennis game is superb, very professional, fun and informative.
I am 54 years old, I have always done a lot of sport in my life, as well as my wife (former golf player). I started playing tennis for 7 months, playing 7 hours a week and a one hour lesson a week with a teacher, and I do everything to progress and improve my tennis game in all areas of play and to have a very good physical condition and using the best tennis equipment so as not to hurt myself stupidly (stable and comfortable tennis shoes like the Asics Court FF 2, Adidas Sole Court Boost, etc ...) and a lot of muscle warm-up and stretching before my tennis training, so as not to injure myself, because I have a very aggressive and offensive game.
Otherwise Superb and beautiful video for the Yonex model tennis rackets '' VCORE PRO 97 HD '' and '' VCORE 95-2021 '', '' the new models Yonex VCORE 95/98/100 - 2021 '', and all the range '' Head Line MP '', and finally the Head Extrême Tour (which I just bought for my wife, a magnificent racket, ultra ARM FRIENDLY with an excellent compromise Control / Power).
The Wilson Clash 100 Pro-310g racket, which I have been using for 7 months, no longer matches my game, it is very comfortable, but the problem, I have no control with this racket and I don't like the trampoline effect of this racket. I tried the babolat Pure Drive and Pure Aero for two months, these rackets are out of control and I ended up having a very severe Tennis Elbow and ended up throwing them in those shitty rackets, these are rackets for them. lazy and for those who do not want to progress in tennis, these rackets should not exist. All of the players who use these Babolat Pure Drive and Pure Aero racquets have all ended up with tennis elbows and severe wrist injuries. The Babolat brand has reduced the quality of the game in tennis, all young people today, they look like robots and machines wanting to try to lift like Nadal, while they do not master any grip, positioning, in short the normal bases tennis. It’s sad to see them playing like robots in the different tennis clubs I attend in Greece. Most have been taking classes for about ten years. Whereas me in a few months (7 months), I made progress, as if I had been playing for 7 years. My big weak point is the service. I have a very powerful first serve flat, it hits the serve area every one on 10 times, but when it passes it's an ace every time, and a 30% efficient slice serve.
So I still have a long way to go on the serve and my two handed backhand.
I am always looking for a new racket, type Control / Comfort.
I almost bought the Yonex Ezone Tour you reviewed on your youtube channel, but because of my 'Tennis Elbow', I was advised to avoid the Yonex Ezone Tour.
I hesitated a lot between several racket models ('' Yonex VCORE 95-2021 '', '' Yonex VCORE PRO 97 HD 18x20-320g '', '' ProKennex Ki Q + Tour Pro (325g), Head size 98, pattern string 18x20, SW: 327 "," Head Graphene 360+ Prestige MP, 18x20, head size 98 "," Head graphene 360+ Speed Pro, 18x20, head size 100 ''.
And finally, following the video of '' Tennis HQ: Here Is Why The 2021 Yonex VCORE 95 Is The BEST YONEX RACKET Right Now | Racket Review '', I ended up buying the model '' Yonex VCORE 95-2021 with the Yonex PolyTour REV string stretched at 53LBS (24kg) ''.
The racket is magnificent, very beautiful, very manoeuvrable and fast, on the other hand I hurt my wrists, elbow and shoulder extremely. This string is extremely hard and very dangerous for my elbow. Is this the problem with the '' Yonex PolyTour REV '' string or is it because of the tension stretched to 53LBS (24kg). I will try other more comfortable strings for the arm and elbow with a lower tension between 50 LBS and 51 LBS and with a softer and mellow overgrip and add 6 gr (2x 3gr) x 3 = 18 gr (at 9h, 12h and 3h) to improve the stability of the racket.
I wanted to know, if the string (Head Lynx Tour Champagne) that you used on the '' Yonex VCORE 95-2021 '' has a tension of 58 Lbs !!!!! Is it more comfortable and ARM FRIENDLY than the '' Yonex Poly Tour Rev 1.25mm / 16g (color Bite), string tension: 53 Lbs / 24.0404 kg, which I am currently using on my new racquet '' Yonex VCORE 95 -2021 ''. Regarding the string (Head Lynx Tour Champagne) that you use on the "Yonex VCORE 95-2021", you did not specify exactly the model and the gauge of this string.
If not, do you know a very fast and efficient way to lower the tension of my string the '' Yonex Poly Tour Rev 1.25mm / 16g (color Bite), string tension: 53 Lbs / 24.0404 kg ' '. Lower it from 53 Lbs to 51 Lbs.
I think next month I will buy the '' Yonex VCORE PRO 97 HD '' hoping that this racquet will not be as hard on my elbow as the '' Yonex 'VCORE 95 -2021' ‘.
Otherwise I still hesitate to make my choice for my next racket '' ARM FRIENDLY '' between the '' Yonex VCORE PRO 97 HD '' and the '' ProKennex Ki Q + Tour Pro (325g), Head size 98, patter string 18x20 , SW: 327 ''.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
I wish you the best for you, very long and big success and lot of success in your professional tennis career, and for your wonderful youtube channel "My Tennis HQ".
Best regards.
***Sorry fo my long message.
Soel MS.
begginers get tennis elbow because you do not hit with the sweet spot, you can not master tennis in 7 months, for quick learners it takes 3 years at least, try lower tension 21 to 22 kg, and luxilon smart. also stay away from 95 head sizes go to 100 and when you learn proper technique go back to smaller, also you wont hv arm problems with 100
Have you/can you do a comparison between the vcore 95 and the vcore pro 97?
How do I get a Karue Special Edition VCore 95? Thanks for being my favorite UA-cam channel!
Great review.!
Dunlop cx 200, tour 202118x20 looks amazing! looking forward for the review if you are getting the racket! :)
Keep Safe! and play a lot of tennis! :)
Hi Karue, thanks for all your content! I love your tennis channel. About the Yonex vcore 95 what string would you recommend? I hit with a lot of topspin. What about Head Lynx tour?
Nice review 👍 the other guy in the green with the black yonex...a lot of footage of him here. What yonex was he using ? He was hitting some nice winners as well! Cheers and great playing !
Hi Karue, As always - great review! Have you ever had the chance to hit with the prostaff v13 (non RF Version)? How would you compare these two frames?
Would appreciate your thoughts.
Keep up your great work.
Best wishes from Germany.
Hi friend, wonderful review, i have a few questions, i play with vcp 310, do you recomend me try this? AND its much better this model 2021 or previus versión, or its the same?
when are you going to review on Vcore 95 2023? Looking forward to seeing it!
Man I was part of the Tennisnerd review for it last month and it's such a great racquet I didn't wanna give it back 😃. Stock works really great, rewarding on the kick serves, and huge sweet spot for a 95.
did you try the previous generation? Did you like it better in comparison?
@@arielmizrahi9289 not the previous one tbh, I played the SV from few years back and my main racquet is vcore tour g, but most probably will switch to this one in the summer.
Yes it is a great serve. I don’t want to give it back either
Great video, like all the other one you made. I follow you from Italy; thanks to your video I incredibly increase the quality of my tennis. I've just purchased this rachet, I will try that. Just a little question: what about the tension, which rage do you suggest for this racket. I'm 46 years hold and my arm suffer a little with monofilament and high tension (over 22)... Is 21 vertical and 22 horizontal good for this racket? I was thinking to an hybrid solution: RPM multifilament + RPM blast
great review! do you play with any added weight or not? I heard some lead at 3 and 9 o'clock is needed, isn't it?
Wow, really great job on the review. I am 4.5 level super strong baseline player who plays whit the previous version of this racket string whit weiss canon ultra cable(I fell in love whit the racket when I hit my one handed backhand) , and like you said I want more spin potential but I really don't want more power. I just don't know where to look? Please do you have an idea for me?
incredible point from the tournament!
Well it was only a matter of time for this video to come. The 95 definitely looks like it suits you really well, much more so than the others
Yes for my game it is a gem
Thank you for mentioning "the onehanders" in your review. Currently I am trying to sell my Babolat Pure Aero rackets
and I am searching an alternative. I 'm a little anxious about using only 95 square inches.
If you can test it give it a go
yeah the physiological part of using a smaller racket is hard becuz u might not trust it. but you need to believe in it and play it if you like it
@@Abe-Lau I find it kind of sexy what My Tennis HQ said in the review: "The racket plays like u want it" - at that's exactly what I'm looking for!
When I play with the Pure Aero, sometimes it's difficult to keep the ball getting out of the strings in a lower bounce angle, on the other side
I am able to generate lots of power and spin with my backhand, hope this will be the same with the VCORE 95.
Hey karue great content as always!! which strings do you use, I know strings are a personal thing but I’m yet to find my go to. I’ve used alu power rough, solinco hyper g, 4g, Wilson revolve, & etc.
Hey Pedro. I use head lynx tour, 1.25, 58 lbs. Great string. I'd also recommend the yonex poly tour
Have you ever tried/reviewed the pacific (former Fischer) x force pro (320 grams)? It also has a 16x20 stringbed and is said to be a great all-around racket that does everything very well but isn't top in any category. I have been playing its predecessor Fischer Black Granite No.1 (it's said to be the same frame before Fischer was bought by pacific) for many years now and what you said about the yonex sounded very familiar to me. You should give it a try if you ever can get one!
Hi, i love your videos and you are superb player. I currently really like my old vcore 95, do you think the new one is worth an upgrade? do you add any lead?
Would be interested how this goes against a head speed. You say you played the pro - I' playing the MP and am looking for a switch because I lack some control/ stability and feel like the racquet is too fast - and if I string it up too tight or stiff it becomes very unpleasant to play for me.. Maybe this is also a good alternative for me! :)
I love going up to the net so I might have to put some tape on the hoops or find another alternative
Great Chanel.....and great rewiew!!!
Can you tell me of custom Giron in this racquet?
Possibly of interest would be a rant on strings, not just reviews but matching style to string, what you and other pros like and why etc.Tha same could be done with weights grips etc.Just a suggestion, enjoying your show thanks
It would but honestly I don’t have that much knowledge on strings. Been playing with the same thing for a long time so I don’t want to talk about something I don’t understand much about
Hey thanks for the review. Was wondering what string tension you used? Also what string? Thank you again.
I absolutely love the Vcore 95. The only thing I want to change is the stock grip. I’d like a leather one. Something about the squishiness that messes up my volleys. This “problem” obviously pales in comparison to the racket as a whole though.
Hey Karue, Fab review and much appreciated. Your comment on the Vcore's slight "flimsiness" at the net makes perfect sense given your comparison with the Ezone which is more stable. That "Stability" of the Ezone comes purely from the Ezone's stiffer hoop and higher twist weight (13.58 vs 14.72) which is why you found the Vcore more comfortable having a softer hoop (something I mentioned in a comment in your previous video) and Ezone more uncomfortable with a stiffer hoop. So here's my challenge : Either increase the stability of the Vcore by adding lead @3,9 (as you mention) OR (here's the challenge) think again about the Ezone and string crosses significantly lower or use a soft multi in crosses ..... Personally, I think if you make my mentioned mods to your Ezone Tour, you may find it overall a more solid racquet. The only issue is the mods needed for the Ezone are a bit more tricky than mere adding lead to the Vcore. Are you up to the challenge? :)))
Really useful review! What string would you recommend for this racquet? how many kg do usually put on it? Also Head Lynx 26kg :)?
Hope this 95 will be an improvement over my 98 Galaxy Black (which I like but lacks control)... my last
Hey Karue can you compare the VCore 95 with the Pure Strike 16x19 as soon as the review is dropping? btw best tennis channel on youtube, keep it up
Thank you! Will try my best, not sure when I will be able to do that review, got other videos in line at the moment. Appreciate it
How did you string it? Awesome review!
Hey Karue, what is it about Head Lynx Tour that you really like? I find it to be very responsive and soft, I can only compare to Poly Tour Strike, which is what I use now. What would be the benefits of Lynx Tour over Poly Tour Strike?
@MyTennisHQ, Karue, thanks to you and IronWillTennis, I’ve switched to the racket from the VCore Pro 97 310g 2021. I’ve added a leather grip, Sampras power strips at 10&2. It feels amazing and I echo everything you say in the video. My serve percentage has increased, better consistency on ground strokes, great plow. So racket journey concluded, string journey beginning. I know you’re now playing with the 2023 model, but what string/gauge/tension did you settle on when you played with this racket?
When you played that tournament with the vcore 95, was that with your customizations with lead and leather grip? Or without it?
Hey Karue, question. How do you think this will compare to to the babolat pure strike VS tour since they’re both 16x20?
Hey nice video, what strings did you use with the racket
How does this version of the vcore 95 compare to the 2019 yonex vcore 95? Also do you add weight to your racquets?
As a small racket head player I really wanna try this since my racket now is the same head size. Also as a one hander small racket heads work well with my one hander
Hi Karue, Thanks for the awesome review, this is the best review of a racket i've watched on UA-cam! i used your link to buy me a pair :) but just a question,
i played with the previous VCORE 98 and loved it but the launch angle was pretty high and it lacked control for me, bear in mind i have added a leather Grip and some lead in the hoop bringing it 340Grams, will this version address these issues without sacrificing too much power? I plan on using the same treatment on the 95s, i've been playing Tennis for 27 years, i'm 31 Years old, and i mainly play on Clay Courts, Thanks Man!
Thanks for using our link! Yes I believe that will help with the issues I have with this racket.
What string and tension do you recommend for this racket? what was the spec that you used in this video
I have been playing with an ncode NBlade FOREVER...this review makes me want to Demo...
Hi Karue, i use the Duel g 97 330g. Do you believe that this racket can be an ideal substitute? In this case, I have no complaints about my current one; but maybe you can name some benefits for a possible exchange. Bearing in mind that here in my country I can't test the racket, and its price is almost the same as my kidney ... thanks!!!
Great video, quickly becoming one of my favorite tennis racquet review channels. I'm a flat hitting, usta 4.0 baseliner currently using the head graphene touch prestige mp ( 95 sq inch frame). I've been contemplating a vcore 98 ,a slightly bigger frame to make life more forgiving for myself. I'm wondering why you chose a 95 because it seems to be a rare head size people like me (usta 4.0) tend to be choosing these days. Are there disadvantages for a player of my skillset using a 95?
Less power and less forgiveness.
The fact that it does not feel as stable at the net is because the twist weight is in the lower range (13.5 according to TW). On the other hand, this gives you a better maneuverability.
Nice hoodie! You play Spikeball much? You should make some videos of that!
Starting play more. Funny you mentioned but I think we will make some videos on it as well
Have you ever played with a Vcore Pro 97 310 16x19 and if yes, how do these two racquets compare?
Hi Karue, you mentioned that this racket is very good for one handed backhands. Can you explain why? Thank you! I lo ove the channel 😁😁
Hi Karu! What about a direct comparison between the new Vcore 95 and Ezone 98 Tour? Also do you think that they should come up with a 95 square inches ezone in their line up?
A 95 ezone would definitely be interesting
Wich one you prefere for a tournament play this one or the speed pro?
Do you think will be a good idea to switch from Prince exo3 tour 100 18x20 to this frame? I believe it is kind of similar, but a bit less spin friendly.
should i get this yonex vcore 95 or the babolat pure aero VS. I can generate power very well on serves and forehand so that’s not an issue for me. I also rely a lot on talent in getting the ball where i want to to get me through games as i don’t practice nearly as often as i used to. i’m just looking for slightly more control now and am unsure as to which one to choose?
Mate I really love your comprehensive reviews and the work you do but when doing racket reviews, but please use time stamps.
So did you switch to this from your Ezone Tour? Also can you share where you added weight and what strings and tension you use?
Coming from a long time pure drive user, will this be a harder racquet transition for me?
I cant demo racquet from where I am, so I just rely on reviews and help from users online.
Are you planning on reviewing the new ProStaff 97 315g?
Is there any news about a Galaxy Black or a recolor of the 95? Also is there any news about the new VCore? Thanks
Thoughts on yonex’s original/replacement grip? I see comments online where people don’t like it and always replaces it. Do you change yours?
Edit: props to your opponent for being honest and not just calling your shot out... some people would just call out to win @7:08
Edit 2: do you and giron have same service motions? It looks very similar
Honestly didn’t mind the grip. And we do hahah
How does it compare to the Pure Strike Tour and or pure strike 18x20/16x19
So it's basically a Dunlop cx 200 tour with a 16x20 string pattern?
Hello:) I wonder why everybody compare only the new Vcore to the new ezone:) I have 4 new VcorePro 310 with pacific leather and 4g led on 9 and 3:) how would you compare those:)? I played with them side to side (I am an ex 300ATP). And I wonder what do you think:)
what string and tension do you use on this racquet?
Please review the 95 2023. Thanks. You're pretty awesome.
AND do you recomend lead tape or just came the racket?
Fantastic video yet again! Happy New year to you mate🥳
Currently own the latest prestige MP. Since you had used the prestige MP in your past videos, how would you compare both in terms of:
1) Sweetspot size( I know it won’t matter much if you are a good player, so maybe in situations when you are on the defence, how would compare the forgiveness of the two head sizes?)
2) Levels of spin and power since both are tight string pattern and lower powered rackets
3) The feel of the rackets. ( ofcourse feel is the most subjective but would love to hear an opinion from a pro player😝)
Thanks in advance if you do comment back🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
VCORE 95 is a much more friendly racket. Bigger sweet spot, easier on the arm, more power and spin. The prestige has a distinct feel and players who love it can’t really play with anything else. But the VCORE 95 is a much easier racket to play with
Saudações do Brasil. Adoro seu canal...
Hi Karue, what strings are you using ?
Playing with 2018 Vcore 95 and looking for something similar but more stable and slightly bigger sweetspot, will certainly try this.. the feel of 2018 seems not be there (more muted and slightly more stiff), but can't have it all ....
Have you come to any conclusion about the flame red Vcore 95 2018? Atleast the 2018 has a ok low RA rating at 62, but yeah maybe to stiff still.
I’ve played a while with 2x Vcore 97 HD, I really like the low stiffness at 59, no arm problems at all. But yeah very hefty frame for me. I hit much better with my 2018 95, havent tried the 2021 yet. Is the 2021 more comfortable for the arm?
@@allemyr I am using the 2021 version more as its more stable, for a lower swingweight and weight, and seem to play better for backhand, slices and volleys.. it is as comfortable as the 2018 while a bit muted, and slightly stiffer maybe but this seems to help my strokes. hope this helps...
@@kutayyurtsever3619 hi thx Kutay! I will try to get my hands on a 2021 95 soon. Even tho 2021 95 is slighly stiffer it’s still better for the arm then 2018 95 i guess? The new model has some dampening I think. Thx for responding makes it more clear for me, will for sure try the newer model before getting a second flame red 95. You are not interesting in buying 2x Vcore 97 HD? 😂
@@allemyr I think the strings also make a bjg difference, I also had arm problems and was using multi/poly hyrbrid in 2018 (50/47lbs) and in the 2021 version using a fullbed very soft poly (poly tour air) at 47lbs and no issues with comfort at all, yes the new one maybe even more comfortable with its dampening,... also blue strings also look amazingly cool... i already have and tried vc97HD and couldnt really gel with it unfortunately
former college player here, would like to see the big differences between the college level and the futures level
There's not. Most d1 players can play futures and top d1 players are pretty much challenger level! Guys from small d1 schools can make runs at futures. D2 and 3 is a different story
Hey tennis hq, im around a 8 utr and I'm looking to switch from the head speed mp right now, do u think this racquet would fit my game if I hit with a lot of topspin and come to the net a lot?
yes, but depending on your strength you could benefit more from a forgiving and powerful racket, the dr98 is a better option, so is the 100 version. as an 8 youre going to make more mistakes than a 15, and you want a larger sweetspot to keep the racket head speed up
What string with what tension do you prefer on this racket?
Hey guys, could you make a video about how to return heavy topspin balls with a lot of arc. When the shot is fast and flat, it’s easy to read and deflect pace with a quick block or slice. When it has heavy spin I find myself having a hard time dealing with them, my body gets all akward when I see the ball coming super fast. I’m not sure whether I should hit out with my own spin to bring the ball down (which could lead to errors) or loop it back with little pace (but then better players can punish that easily).
That said, the limitation of my equipment might also be at play, I’m using the Pro Staff 97L so I feel not enough plow sometimes, which leads me to hesitate to hit out. Thinking of switching to the Speed MP (especially because the new black PJ is coming soon), do you think it’s a good choice? I worry that the string spacing will be too open.
It’s on the list of upcoming videos
Great review Karue, very detailed and rich.
Have you played with the previous version of the VCore 95? If so, how would you compare the feel of the current iteration to the previous?
I've watched other reviews on yt and people are saying that the new version is more muted than the previous. What is your take on that?
I did not play with the old version extensively so I am not sure how it compares
