UK - Tangmere tackles the Settle & Carlisle route, "The Waverley" 7th July 2024

Despite rather odd sounding valve timing, Battle of Britain pacific number 34067 Tangmere kept good time over the scenic Settle & Carlisle line.
The Waverley excursion operated from York to Carlisle and back. A water stop at Hellifield in each direction allowed us to grab a number of locations around the town with help from Tom Evans.
Fortunately, the threatened rain held off for each of the video times!

Excellent footage there Andy and Tom. I was also there to film the run but at different locations mainly on the Settle and Carlisle proper
