- Ex.LMS Royal Scot class number 46100 "Royal Scot" headed a Steam Dreams Charter from Colchester to Barrow Hill Roundhouse, with stops provided for those who preferred to visit Chatsworth House or Crich Tramway Museum.
We see the Scot calling at Chesterfield station (for Chatsworth), viewed from the well known footbridge a short way north of the station on Brimington Road.
The Scot appeared to make light work of the 12 coach load as it accelerated away from Chesterfield, no doubt assisted by diesel 47828 on the rear.
Recorded on 8th May 2024.
