Good one! Love it.

Well and I thought I was just bi myself
Brick in the window vs delicately skipping a stone across a pond. Wow is that too accurate.
Ik 😭
For real
Easy humor
Yeah as a straight dude I related to that too hard, I’ve been hit on by gay men and it really just seems like all I gotta do is say “nice shirt” and they’re like “yeah let’s bang,” whereas just getting a date with a woman feels like I have to be intentional with every word or she’ll be like “guess it’s not him”
Too subtle for most guys.Brick in the head, frankly."You! Me Like! Sex?"
"When a woman rejects me I'm like 'she probably knows what she's talking about'." Too real 😭😂
Omg yes
FACTS.
That's my reaction too. Before rejection, I think "Maybe she's the right woman for me," and after rejection, straight back to "but I'm not even right for myself. It's a good thing she knew that I don't have what it takes."
@@nathanwood4762aww no be kinder to yourseIf, it just wasnt meant to be
And the thing she's probably talking about is her own hypergamy, entitlement and/or choice paralysis due to her having a gigantic roster.
Her Elvis moves when she said "I'm the fastest boy alive" are EVERYTHING
I thought John Travolta in SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER
@@ilovtheend Agreed. But I think it's a little Travolta, little Elvis, and a lot of Taylor. :)
A little more John Travolta but I watched til that part cuz I love a good Elvis nod

“ I already know how to play the clarinet. It is not my passion, but I have the respect of my peers.”
Not gonna lie. It took me a solid minute before I got that joke then I couldn’t stop laughing. 😂
Thank you
I don’t get it.
@@MiadaskateI think the implication is that the clarinet represents a penis.
@@Miadaskate UA-cam guidelines prevent me from explaining it to you in easy to understand terms.
I got that one right away, but that's probably b/c i'm bi
Her comparing playing a piano to playing a clarinet had me. It’s the most genius take to me as I’m also trying to find out if I swing both ways😂😂
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing
She is amazing with analogies among other things
EXACTLY
How do you go about finding shit like that honestly? It's either u got it or you dont. I have been attracted to who I am attracted since puberty and it didn't take any exploring to find out. On the streets, bom boner. Movies, boner. School, boner. Funeral, boner. Nurse, boner. It's biologically driven you dont have to force it,
Only way to find out is to go to band camp and try out all the instruments
My brother is trans, my sisters are gay, and I am exploring bisexuality. Yeah, that ultra-religious upbringing really worked, didn't it?
Probably worked the opposite way 😂
I so badly want her parents to read this comment
It did. They broke the rules of "love thy neighbour...." so they got sent some embodies "opportunities to finally get that blasted learning experience right" amids themselves :'D Somehow their "god" is not so smart and constantly forgets they're too low in social intelligence to learn that way. They need the re-incarnation route and some own experience. Urgently.
Lovely that you and your sibling have each other. A least I hope? And sorry for the mess you were born into.
It was my first thought too.
I’m still giggling over “don’t bite the jazz-hand that feeds you” from ages ago 😂
(Her dad was a show choir director)
From the way Taylor's material has changed over the course of her 3 Netflix specials, you can tell that she either knows her dad doesn't follow her work, or she no longer cares if he follows it. I say good for her!
I believe she doesn't speak to him anymore. I saw her live and I remember her saying that
She made a youtube short alluding to it as well. “If he wanted to he would… but, like, it’s your dad. 😬”
Keep in mind that at some point, as she creates new material for new shows, the Taylor character develops a life of her own, different from the Taylor real-life person. The former becomes a puppet for the latter, enabling her to touch any topic she wants. 🙂
@@ironshoes1720 - - Good answer. I was starting to lose faith that commenters are a stupid lot.
All her siblings are lgbt? What are the odds?
Taylor’s officially in her chaotic bisexual era and I’m here for it

I can't wait until next year's Netflix special when she talks about the time she tried to convince herself she was bisexual.

@@sophias.8323 maybe this parson is scared of Taylor becoming TOO relatable. She'll engulf the world in a flood of relatability (and excellent wardrobe choices).
My biggest fear is that I am bad at playing the piano but no one will tell me because they’re just glad someone showed up to recital.
Yep. I fear the polite applause
Gotta find those honest persons.
This is most days of being a parent.
The coughing and shifting between the movements is pretty awkward
at a recital.
"I don't have time to sit down and learn new fingerings" was an AMAZING line.
I especially love the part about "brick through the window" vs. "skipping a stone across a lake."
Getting a man's attention is super easy. Getting us to stay and commit is not. There's a big gap between a sleeper and a keeper. For a long-term commitment, we want to be sure that she's not going to cheat, not going to make allegations, not going to put the dog in the oven, etc and we're looking for the papers to prove it. Had a hoe phase? Probably not a phase - sleeper. Last bf was emotionally distant? I can't read minds either - sleeper.
Alot of women get messed up by this. If a man sleeps with her, it doesn't really mean that he is her level of pull. It just means he didn't have anything better to do for that 7-minute window. There's a lot of time in the day, so the top guys are busy. Her level, where a guy will gladly commit to her and ignore the others, might be a good 3 points lower. But who wants that loser? So she'll keep trying at the high level, wondering why men cheat so much.
The brick was a trap.
"yeah, you can play piano ... if you wanna go to fucking hell" literally me lmao

The "not being bad at something as an adult" hit real hard. Felt good to have someone else say it LOL
While I understand that feeling, I gotta say it's part of growing up to deal with that fear and just go ahead and try something new if it interests you. For activities like learning a new instrument or learning a new sport or whatever, teacher or club owners and the like are literally always desperate for new members, so they know well that they absolutely have to be encouraging or else you're gonna take your money elsewhere.
@@earthbind83 Accepting that you don't know something and humbling yourself to be taught is something i struggle with all the time lol
@@malkazzz Then maybe ask yourself where that comes from, then logically speaking it would be unnatural to just know everything. Maybe some bullies used shaming language on you a long time ago or something like that. I myself remember that asking about anything was always risky because the person might answer along the lines of "Whaaaat? You don't know that? Looool" which is why I don't socialize much and just research stuff on the internet (any maybe ask in forums where idiots like that just get banned).
"I identify as afraid."
The most true thing ever said.
As a bi woman dating profiles of women and men are so different.
Most women will have their profile fully filled out like you know their hobbies, job, study, kinds of food they like before you even start chatting.
Men have one or two things filled out:
"Man, likes sports"
And then a picture with an alcoholic drink or a half-naked picture if they work out.
As a pan man…welp I’m definitely a queer woman kind of profile then haha. I just have to let them know everything I’m into!
@@KittRembo I'm of course talking from my own experience. It's just always nice to see a filled out profile :D
Yes, there is also usually a pic of him snowboarding. And in most or all of his pics he's gonna have his sunglasses on.
@@KittRembo your a queer man it's different. Straight men specifically treat their profiles like their apartment. Two things that's all they need
And then everyone else is like "I'm gonna add a table so my TV isn't on the floor" yknow?
Gay men seldom give you many details but it depends on the site wink wink. I've never tried dating apps .
oh my god as a pan woman who plays both piano and clarinet i'm wheezing
Wow this joke was catered to you specifically lol
You must have had progressive parents. 😁
as a pan woman i second that, but in a "still searching for a piano teacher bc god damn there are no teachers in my neighborhood" way lol
So wait, she has a trans brother and gay sisters? Taylor’s really spilling the tea now….
I have so many questions about what has happened between the joke about her dad hating gay people but teaching show choir ("those sparkly teens put food on our table") and now.
@@jc3msearch taylor tomlinson they them for one of her funniest bits of all time (if you haven’t seen it)
She is telling jokes. It's not her personal history.
@@q7winq7 I think it is her story. I've always suspected she was bi or lesbian.
It seems as though a lot of female comedians are gay or bi because they see the absurdity of a lot of social mores@@epistte
Well, when I was a girl, we were told you either want to play the piano _or_ the clarinet. And either is ok, but if you think you want to play both, it's just a phase until you admit to yourself you actually just want to play the piano. And since I knew I liked clarinets, I never gave it a second thought until I watched Legend of Korra at 26 and started absolutely drooling over Kuvira 😅
The biphobia is/was SO real 😅
@@readmachine18 Is. Very much is.
Yeah just pick one! That probably lead me to not figure out I was bi until my mid 20s. Like, that can be a thing?
@@tomrogue13 Especially since most bi people aren't "50/50", so to speak. I've only ever been in love with a woman _once,_ and only been sexually attracted to a handful more. I haven't even come out to my parents until recently, not because they wouldn't accept me, but simply because I thought - Your assumptions about me are about 85% right anyway, so why bother. Nothing actually changes, I'm just twice the virgin you thought I was 😅
It’s so annoying bc no matter who you are they always assume you like men.
Ur a bi guy? Ur gay no questions.
Ur a bi girl? Nah you like men u just want attention

Taylor just keeps getting better and better. We are in for quite a ride watching the next phases of her career develop and flourish.
I can relate to the fear of going down there as I tried and tried to get the girls to their happy place. I asked for advice from them, other women, and men but nothing helped. Thankfully there are gals making educational UA-cam videos. Apparently you need foreplay for the foreplay and a healthy degree of teasing works wonders!❤
Which would you recommend? I've been told by my romantic partners that they feel like dating a woman when they're with me, so I'd like to learn what works for women. Maybe it will work for me 😄
@@Dsonsee try videos by Caitlin V or Marnie the Wing Girl. Both have Oral vids but Caitlin’s is better.

Omfg 😂 so true
I have a terrible track record of finding out every comedian, musician, and other entertainer I like is gay. And now my favorite stand-up comic is bi because of course she is. And as a late-bloomer lesbian who's dated both fields? She is so fucking right.
Yeah isn't it kind of funny how often we're the last one to notice we're queer?
I was the only straight person in my circle of friends, so I thought. Nope, bi.
Went to a rave and immediately got hit on by men. Guys have a fair share of problems but Jesus fuck is so much easier to get past the initial stage
We do tend to gravitate towards one another. 😉
I strongly suspected she was queer after some of the jokes in her last two specials. The way she talked about her boyfriends and men in general seemed like she didn't actually like them, but she hadn't fully considered the alternatives. There was a joke in a previous special that went along the lines of "I don't know why I like, men but I do" while complaining about them. If she is bi, then good for her for accepting it, if this is a stepping stone then good for her for taking the first step.
But also, who in the younger generations isn't at least a little bit queer, the rate in my family across all my first cousins (on both sides) is about 1/2. There are 12 of us, I am a gay trans woman (well, definitely trans, let's see what the hormones do to my attraction), two of my female cousins regularly date women, I have a cousin who I can practically guarantee is aro/ace, I have another cousin who is genderqueer, I have a male cousin who doesn't seem to be interested in relationships even though I haven't heard him put a label on it. And I think one or two other cousins might be some kind of queer. We range in age from teens to mid 30's
@@136jab Honestly I’ve heard so many straight women talking about their relationships and it sounds like many of them don’t like men, either. “Are the straights okay?” is a real concern.
@@136jab I only have two first cousins and one sister and two of us turned out to be gay despite growing up in the most rural environment of the south you could possibly imagine. I'm in my early 50s and my cousin is in his 30s. He came out of the closet right after college I wouldn't manage to make that jump until I was in my late 30s. I think the numbers are fuck load higher than anybody realizes but way too many people have been repressed in their sexuality and GID.
Wow she unleashed a new level of jokes
I love her jokes the ponytail is great too
all of this is so deeply relatable, the clarinet joke took me out
Easily my favourite female comedian, she's so consistently hilarious
The not wanting to be bad at it is too real. Absolutely paralyzing.
TRULY. Women are terrifying. They’re so pretty and smart and funny. And I don’t want to fuck it up! 🫣
DO IT SCARED
"You can play piano as a girl...if you wanna go to FUCKING HELL". Oh my god, I love this comedian so much
Clarinet versus piano is genius.
I used to feel this way, but once you get going you found out you do know how to do it. You just didn't think you did. Then it all gets way easier and before you know it you are left wondering if you ever liked men or was just afraid.
As a bi-curious who only tried to talk to women on tinder, I get exactly what she means 😂
Honestly, been wondering if she is queer since her first special, and definitely since her second. Good for her trying to figure it out.
My gf did it better than my exes her first time ever going down, than they did during their entire relationship 😂
the way she does the Nicholas Cage eyes at the end is killing me
I had multiple women who I never hit on because I was afraid of failing, and it wasn't because I didn't find them attractive. So being afraid of failing doesn't mean that you are not into girls. If anything, it means you are more likely to be into girls. I was not afraid of failing with guys.
Which instrument should I choose for the band?
Parents: Whatever you can carry easily on the school bus without losing it.

The entire line up to this point is just so good.
Her delivery continues to get better. Great set.
I remember when I first saw her do stand up and boy it was confusing the material said "straight" but everything else well... And here we are 😂. All I can say is this: the best time to learn how to play the piano was maybe 15 years ago but the second best time? Is now. Hope ya figure it out, we're rooting for you in chaotic sapphic solidarity ✊🏳️🌈
I've longed for her to be not straight ever since I first started laughing at her stand up. It's always good to remember that once upon a time Ellen referred to her "boyfriend" in her early standup career as well...

I've been watching Taylor for a long time and always thought she is more for women sexually 🎉 my brother is gay and so is my niece and my daughter. I could just sense it.
Taylor is an Amazing entertainer and brilliant comedian. Just adore her. Sexual preferences have never been an issue with me. My brother is 62 years old and can finally be almost completely comfortable with his life. People are way too judgemental. Love you Taylor Tomlinson 🦋
She is exactly as good as she seemed the first time i watched her.
Brilliant.
What I love about looking for women as a woman on dating apps is that one guy named Dave or something with a fishing pic that always seems to pop up. You're looking for women, you have it set on women but Dave's there, too. That's been my experience at least.
So, SO relatable 😂
Normally listening to female comedians trying to make jokes about sexuality I am repulsed, because the lack finesse. But Taylor indeed makes it work. My favourite of hers still is the bridal deep talk to her groom shortly before the church altar.
As a woman, who dates women. I 100000% agree.

Getting the “are you sure you’re bi? Prove it to me right now or you’re straight” is a universal bisexual experience.
Even if you're a lesbian: Are you gay? You look straight...gay and straight people said this to me...heh
Plus, most lesbians bash on bisexuals though they seem to be obsessed with hetero/bisexual women. Really weird to me.
