@Sardi Pax But I am using the updated version of blender the layout is so much different to your layout please could you do an updated tutorial please. preferably the latest version of blender.
Hello sardi great as usuall. One tutorial that I miss in almost every program is a good breakdown tutorial. i mean how you would do to create a background with alot of layers on a still. Or an animated animal walking and the breakdown is ongoing while the animation goes on. Cheers
Here in the states, I think it's conventional to call the ones for small windows, "curtains," and the ones for large windows, "drapes." Though, as to that, the terms are interchangeable for the large ones.
Thanks for the great tutorials. However with this one when I run the animation the bottom edge of the curtain doesn't move, only the top pinned points move. Is there a setting that was introduced since this video that affects that?
Peter van den Berg Hi, make sure you go right to the beginning of the animation before playing. Make sure you are not it Edit mode with the curtain object and finally, make sure you have the cloth simulation active.
Great work Sardi. The content is easily understood and I am using your technique right now for a new music video. I will post it on FB and my personal website (ImagineUnlimitedForever.com) once it's done. You are really good at making tutorials. This is greatly appreciated. Thank You
+Starius2 Hi, it can help to reduce alias patterning in subtle colour gradients such as the sky in a scene, but also I find it works better for me when using alpha textures with Adobe Premiere video editor.
6:26 in newer version of Blender the "pinning" is called "pin group" and it's in "Shape" and then you just have to select the vertex group :)
Awesome tutorial , fast & clear explanations TY TY TY , Bests
You're welcome!

hey. could you do a tutorial on tearing paper in half?
+Starius2 +Sardi Pax ALSO why did you use 16 bit? What does it do differently?

I used to make these, 6-20mts high, bloody heavy things.
If blender supported tessellation that would be great.
+CapnTates Indeed
Add link to your facebook group :D
+Tymski LOL oops. Thanks done :)
sir tried but curtain folds are not happening as shown in video.
Hi, make sure you have enough subdivisions in your mesh to allow it to fold.
@@SardiPax yes got it thank sir.
