    One of the things I noticed that helps with productivity is organization. Thats a word I shudder to, but organizing your work space helps with your flow state. Another big help is organizing your desktop on your PC or laptop. Another thing I shudder to but it helps so much.

    if u want to clear clutter out of your feild of vision but have your books n such available try hanging a sheet over the shelf... amazon has a ton of wall hanging with background pics printed on them.
    A sliding plywood wall with corkboard is cooler but more work ;)
    I divided my gararge up with old worn out bedsheets, initially to keep the air con where I was, but it cut junk out of my vision pretty well.
    Good video, u make good points on how a good space makes it easier to achieve your goals.

    I have just a few dumbbells with weight so far in my room (and a pull up bar in the hallway, as it nearly broke my doorframe xD)
    As I'm not going to a real gym (rather expensive here, atleast the good ones, and I'm a broke university student) I'm using my bed as a bench (for single arm dumbbell presses, or single arm rows, and anything else that just needs 1 side to be lower than the other basically). Same for incline/decline pushups, but recently (after watching a few of your videos) I got creative with using everything i have at home. For example some books/comics to put my hands/feet on while doing pushups, to have the possibility to get even lower.
    For dips I'm using my bed and a chair for example, also works quite well.
    Also got the idea to use the railing on my balcony (im living in the ground floor, so no risk there) to muscle ups, when I'm finally able todo them xD
    Only thing i have no idea for atm are upside down situps, i really wanna be able todo them at home, I tried some a few weeks ago at the local public pool, but I would have to pay an entry fee each time i go there :/

    • @TheBioneer
      @TheBioneer  6 років тому +1

      Awesome work! Where there's a will there's a way :-D Could also use those railings for dips, for isometric curls, even to attack something else like resistance bands or a rope for some one armed bodyweight rows! I've been there! Good luck finding somewhere to do the sit ups :-)

    • @gokublack5620
      @gokublack5620 4 роки тому +1

      You can do situps on your bed. Using your wieghts to hold your feet and go down the side of your bed with your upper body

    I never watched this because I didn’t find it relevant but I just watched the follow-up to it and it was really interesting so now I’m here. I never should have doubted you.
    Also, I work out in a literal bat cave. I have an unfinished basement attached to my garage. The garage is fine, but the unfinished part is mostly damp and filled with dirt, spiders, mold, and a small family of bats who come in and out from a vent on the side of the house, and only a small portion of it is paved and actually usable. That’s where my gym is. It’s probably slowly killing me to be down there and I’ve developed chronic sinus problems and the only explanation is spending so much time in that basement. It’s a shitty workout space, but it’s my shitty workout space and I’m dedicated to training so I just make the best of it. Now that it’s warm outside I’ve switched to doing about 80% of my workouts outside but during the winter I basically live down there.

    My aim is to keep my desk super minimal so there's absolutely nothing to distract me, then put all the cool stuff behind me haha. I think I'm going to buy a walking treadmill. If I'm sitting at the computer for multiple hours a day I may as well get an extra 10+ Km in. I tried one and you don't even really notice you're walking when you're so focused on what your doing. Awesome double up.

      If I sit for too long my back gets sooooo stiff, but I dont like standing all.the time so I.alternate

Oh, and soon i will get a black mirror used for altered states of mind...

    The videos you make are of top-notch quality. I know the effort you are putting in (I have a channel too :) . I know the value of your channel. The thing you are not popular like picture fit, asap science etc., shows that something is off. I personally think your voice and voice tone itself difficult to understand. I am from India and as a non-English speaker I can understand most of the things you say. But still I need to crank the volume up or use headset to understand completely. Try talking slowly and clearly like vsauce and Kurzgesagt. I giving this advice because I don't wanna see talent getting wasted. I want to see at the top :)

      Thanks man, all feedback much appreciated! It is a little harder for us non-Americans I think. Will keep working on the delivery - it used to be worse believe it or not! Good luck with your channel too, I'll be checking it out :-)
