This post is a celebration of "home batcaves" - places that we can work and train from home. Changing your environment is one of the quickest ways to change your habits, so if you want to build muscle, improve performance, or get stuff done, this is a great place to start.
In this video, I describe my own office and gym, then showcase the home batcaves you guys submitted. Hopefully, this will inspire you to design your own spaces and give you ideas and tips that you can implement.
I really loved doing this kind of community video and I am extremely grateful to all of you who took part. Sorry if I missed your cave, or mispronounced your name!
Oh, and the theme tune was sung by my daughter :-D

I'm literally going to start liking all this guys content. He's easily the most unique home fitness channel on yt.
Yeah he is super good with those special outside training videod
He's great, combines pop culture and fitness and is a beast at a lot of different kinds of stuff
Hope he can make a video about hyperbaric oxygen chamber. It will improve so many lives. Has been proven to reverse aging and brain damage. If he wants attention, he should review this game changing treatment.
The best part is that it's not just body fitness, but also "mind fitness" as well lol
@@Edgar-so9of idk how I misread that as Hyperbolic Time Chamber but proven how?
We NEED a library tour!
Definitely a good shout 😁
I second this. Because all that knowledge and JACKIE CHAN!
@@TheDamianvain17 I saw that too "Police story"
@@1986svs05 Among about 20 others, including a few sequels in the PS series! Right on, Boss; good eyes!
@@TheBioneer do you have a link for the pull up bar? I need one of those multifunction masterpieces
Yall know he has a real Batcave he goes to in his secret basement right?
Think about it, the intelligence, skills, build, & accent he puts on.
We know what you're up to "Adam" and we appreciate you :p
Says the guy with a baki dojo. I saw that demon back in the last video.
Are you in Jacksonville, Fl?
He should make a video about hyperbaric chamber treatment. He talks about recovery, he should be talking about this.
Haha 🤫😂 Thanks man! Forget Batcaves though, I want to see a tour of the JaxCave! 🔥
@@Edgar-so9of well it's not always the easiest thing to get access to just like oxygen setups for athletes
"One of the fastest ways to change your habits... ... Is change your environment" such a great line! 👌💪👊
@Nexa and it becomes easier to eat well with a change in environment. No more crap in the house 😁👍
Adam's completely unabashed nerdiness is absolutely brilliant! I love it!
Best fitness , development content on the 'Box. In a world where "influencers" have been acting as though they live in their own flawless world under the Sun somewhere away from reality, gimme shelter with videos like this any day. This is how you get influenced and encouraged to make the most and best out of life and what you can attain with work and within flexed reach. Nothing better than a workout in the park, then a coffee and a read through this mans new book.
You have no idea how much you inspire me to improve myself physically and intelectually
After being a driving instructor for 3 years, I decided to make the leap to becoming a certified personal trainer in 2021. My background in martial Arts, dance, and gymnastics have always been my skills of choice; completely influenced by my love of Batman since a young age. Its a pleasure to see that there are real people getting after it just as the Dark Knight would. The Bioneer, Ido Portal, and Knees Over Toes Guy have become some of the biggest influences in my continued fitness journey. Thank you Adam. You may not fight crime (or so I think 😉) but you are a hero in your own right.
If u like martial arts and dance check out Ramsey Dewey's channel he has a degree in modern dance and he runs an MMA gym in Shanghai. Makes great technique videos
@@pilot.wav_theory thank you for the info! Will do.
This has quickly become one of my favorite channels, ive changed my workout routine and thought process. Currently setting up my home gym, so great ideas.
I'm so jealous of some of the bat caves
Me too! 😭😂
Me three. The best ones are built little by little over time. Never been a fan of clearing things out and assembling everything new and all at once. They end up sterile and generic feeling. Start small....today!
Fantastic 4😁😝😂💪🏻
Need to get my small front garden sorted. Literally only space i habe to fully work out.
Never expected to see a computer setup explained on this channel. I have a similar setup, but only one 55" screen. I also have a powerful Laptop + a solid surface pillow to put it on so that I can, alternatively, lie down while working. My back, wich is a complete mess, really needs it.
I can't train anymore, my back just forbids it. I can't even stretch to much extent. Chiropractor could not help me, in a full year. Only things that help in keeping me away from sciatica and overall pain is walking and to never touch anything heavy. Had this problem for many years now. I'm getting old and the fact that I was always about pushing through pain probably didn't help the matter. Needless to say I've disassembled and put away my home gym. Going to sell it.
Don't mean to sound dramatic but it is game over for me.
However, your channel is still a true inspiration because what I still can keep on building and really need is mental toughness, and imo (and many others obviously) you're one of the best at that subject.
So thank you and keep it up!

I totally geeked out over it.
Damn neat gym too.
Your gym looks sick, dude.
@@oz_jones Thanks, man!
@@nihonbunka Wow, thanks!
Agree having a home “batcave” is important for being creative & finding inspiration. Love your setup, & glad it works so well for you! As a fellow content creator, I have a similar powerful PC & dual 34” ultra-wide monitor setup, & I built a 1k square foot home gym that always puts a smile on my face. Will have to send you some photos of both! 👍
Oh yeah would love to see that! 🔥🔥 It was a tough sell explaining I needed what essentially is an OTT gaming rig but it makes all the difference editing, especially with the new camera. Was definitely the right call!
@@TheBioneer oh yes im sure the gaming super-rig was just a "side-benefit" 😉jk haha
Dude you’re literally my hero. I would do anything to meet up and train with you like a Batman and Robin kind of thing haha….. but for real 😂 Much love as always man 🇵🇰
Yes, another man that listens to synthwave when working.
WOW...This is the first time in months a video opened without commercials
Man the bioneer is the coolest nerd ever. Loved seeing your bat cave and all the other ones from the subscribers ! It’s very inspiring to see all of you making due with what you got !
The Batman TV Anthem segway @2:03 was my FAVORITE part of the video! LOL!!
Haha thank you! Courtesy of my daughter!
Honestly the bioneer is so under rated the content he produces is second to none. His book is great and his e book is top notch! Recommend picking both up I listened to the audible the other week thank you for sticking to your roots and producing better and better content. Biiiiii for now!
I totally agree, it is very motivating to see other's home gyms. Gives great ideas on what you can adapt to the space you might have. Always improving!
I made mine in my garage in Houston during quarantine last year called "The Gulag". It's furnished with foam mats, adjustable weight bench, dumbbells from 10 to 25 lbs, a poster of boxing's legends (including my guy Pacquiao), a double end bag, and my favorite toy the Wavemaster XXL bag. I also made my own grappling dummy for Zoom BJJ classes.
By the way. Are there any Brazilian Jiujitsu practitioners here?
*Figurines mom, not toys*
Preach brother, Preach!!
Just received my copy of Functional Training and Beyond! Thank you for all you provide to our community Adam. 👍
I wish I had your E-book years ago. It is so comprehensive. When one can concentrate whether for strength training or Work at Home, then one is creative and can achieve a lot. Thanks for the book. I also decided after reading it to give a monthly donation to support your work.
My home is my Castle. When I bought my condo, I made design changes inside to allow for my work computer-desk to be next to the balcony doors, plenty of electrical outlets, more cabinets and countertop space for cooking, and a sauna in the bathroom. You don't want to fight anything that could add unnecessary stress. My livingroom became my gym with an ATX 800 rack, dual cable pulleys, and accessories (MonoLifts), plate weights, hex trap bar, straight bar, and dumbbells. My coach come to my place.
What a great humble and charismatic man.
Female viewer here. Keep killing it.
Hi female viewer :)
Thank you! 😁🙏🏻
This channel will create a new breed of superheroes/superheroines. Please dont stop what you are doing.
Nothing better than waking up to a new bioneer video
nice tune XD God bless your little daughter!
Lol glad to hear I'm not the only one who tries to sneak in a few curls with my bags of groceries
Do you do it with the garbage cans as well? Mine have handles and I'm usually curling them as I walk to the end of the lane way
@@Vandyno where are you located? Lol.
In a lot of places in the US we either don’t have cans or they roll and are massive. I haven’t seen a traditional can in a very long time.
@@TheSublimeLifestyle Canada, I don't have traditional cans, but they're plastic and large and they have these big handles that they're meant to be pulled by (and rolled on the wheels)
I just lift them instead lol
I also keep holding them in the elevator instead of putting them down on the ground and stand on one leg all the way up doing some kind of hybrid half pistol squats in the elevator (I live on the 12th floor, 13th for Americans I believe). I walk or run up the stairs if I'm coming back from working out outside. It makes the long ride up useful.
I used to do this before I had kids
Now my life is just one long squat and curl lol
"Because... *I'm a massive nerd."*
Every-time I have to use my mobile phone I need to do 5 push ups and 2 pull ups, probably pick up my phone 8-12 times a day. So that’s pretty decent volume. Plus it helps me to reduce screen time as well. Give it a try!
Awesome idea!
Warms my heart everytime I see this channel's subscriber count go up. The best fitness channel on UA-cam by far.
Definitely leaning out and getting better with body movement. What’s better than his content is watching him literally grow into his peak form with every vid.
I have portable parallel bars, paralettes, 2 kettlebells, 2 slam balls, 2 resistance bands, homemade grip/wrist trainer, good socks for sliding core exercises, two 3lbs dumbbells for speed training, skipping rope, weighted skipping rope and a 60lbs vest. And a whole wall of Bruce Lee posters and books.
best content ever. i highly recommend his book.
Thank you!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
What is the name of your book & where can I get it
@@bobafatt2155 purchase link is in his description. the book is legit, trust me and its only $20. rigjt now. Adam gives us a lot for the money, you get a video introduction, full pdf file for the book, which i had printed for my convenience, i keep one at work and one in my gym bag, also excell sheet for for your routines, meal planning and also training philosophy, mental stuff.
I do Bjj and ive been on his program for two weeks before i decided to buy his book... my grips are stronger, my rotational movement is stronger now and more powerful now, which translates to me being able to control ppl. better in the clinch, balance improved, also mentally...my coordination and my mind are working much better insync now,.. its hard to explain, but watch his videos you ll get it . i m not getting paid to say this btw , im just some 39 year old guy in California, that just wants to get an edge over others in bjj.
The first sentence in his Book really got me.
He ( Adam) asks right away...
"Do you work out, or do you train.." i used to work out, but now only train.
his book is 211 pages thick, full colour pictures and contains very detailed explanations of various workouts.
easy ti read abd comprehend
I havent finished it, but i ll give a 5/5 so far.
The book in conjunction of his youtube channel is all you need. cheers and good luck 👍

Nice to see an ab roller in there. I love mine.
You are incredible, you have single handedly changed the way I view Exercising entirely.
I always hated exercising because it seemed like the only reason to exercise in school was to become a Sports Player which I despised the Idea of, so I never cared to exercise.
I’m only 22, though my 23rd birthday is in 70 days, so it’s about time I change my habits and really push as hard as I can for the Body I want.
Using All of your videos, I am creating a truly insane Life Style that I hope allows me to teach incredible Heights!
I remember watching a video of yours many many years ago about Bruce Lee's daily diet. Seeing your progress is amazing. Good for you my man, you are awesome! Bravo
Even some of the most simple videos are more amusing to watch than anything else and keep as an inspiration to build and "copy" a bit.
I would love more of this. Especially seeing people's libraries and place's they work.
been watching the channel since before 10k and its just got better
Pull up bar mounted to wall is dope - as are unique workout movements. Thank you.
Adam, absolutely loving your production quality. I watch a ton of UA-cam and have since the very beginning, you’re hands down my favorite UA-camr. Keep up the amazing work.
I love that on the one hand you have created inspirational spaces for work and working out, plus you show how training can be done and beneficial in many other, varied, 'real world' locations. I'm in!
You inspired to start my own lil Batcave in 2020, no excuses now ✊🏾
I don't use a home gym. I train almost entirely bodyweight now. Any confined space where I can count out loud is my burpee station, like an unused bedroom where I bring my laptop up for online classes. I also have a pull up bar outside the door. When I'm just binge watching on the couch, I have a cheap pair of hand grips to train my grip. Soon, I'll get myself a pair of IronMind Captains of Crush grippers.
You're right with the door frame pull up bar, I've suffered two accidents: first one, a cheap MDF door frame, didn't stand the weight, bowed and fell of, and I fell on my back, luckily, I used to have a gym mattres so no harm, second one, weight vest, I fell when the bar slipped and broke two fingers. The one I use now is bolted to the wall and welded, zero problems
The bioneer is creating the best frkn community there is.. I love all the content and home gyms of you guys.. going to move homes in a few months and create my own Home office and get a home gym setup. Thanks guys
I've got kettlebells, rings, farmers walk handles, weights, heavy bag, double end bag.. I'm my garage.. Prowler, battle ropes, l beer keg, tractor tire, etc.
Camera work is top notch ,Ur a real polymath🙏🏼
One of the best videos about fitness I’ve ever seen...Thank you!
My first addition was a 2×4 to the rafters on my porch 6 months ago & eventually a devils staircase. Will be able to hang a punching from that. Looking for more ideas now.
Perfect timing! Getting ready to revamp my space in the basement ❤️🐸thanks for sharing and lots of love from Pennsylvania
Damn now Im even more eager to buy my new house and setup my batcave, knowing so many people are dedicated to this really is inspiring. :D
How are there not more views?? Found this channel a while ago for the cognitive training aspect, but have been getting more and more interested in home fitness because of these videos! Many thanks!!
Amazing and inspiring spaces!
Its always such a pleasure to watch ur videos n get inspired from it. You bring in so much positivity with you.
I wish you would revisit incidental training in it’s own dedicated video. I know you already have one, but I feel like it’s a type of fitness that’s constantly evolving as well as something that people working out at home would appreciate getting new ideas for. Like the other day, I figured out I could do L-sits, leg tucks, dips, etc. on the walls of the stairwell in my backyard despite living in the house for a long time. Sometimes it just takes seeing someone else doing something similar for it to click with you. I’m sure there are a lot more opportunities for incidental training lying around their house than people are aware of.
Agree. One good way to work in training throughout the day is to give yourself a 1-day challenge. A while back a friend and I set out to do 1,000 push-ups and we actually started pretty late in the day. When it was first suggested it sounded like a lot, but if you bang out 200 or so initially and then do 100 every hour or so after that it’s very doable! In between sets you just go about your day as normal.
@@upgradedragon9430 absolutely. I did like 500 bodyweight squats in a day just by pumping out 20-40 squats whenever I noticed myself standing around not doing anything. You’d be surprised how much time we waste doing absolutely nothing once you start actively paying attention to it.
I truly can’t put in words how grateful I am for your content and channel and the fact that you’re unapologetically, and undeniably yourself. I’ve been a fan for awhile, please stay safe and I’m more than looking forward to future video ideas !! Much love 💪🏽🙏🏽
Wow. Thanks for the mention Adam. I know I sent you a ton of photos so im glad some of them made it in. Ive actually made some strongman specific implements since then include a log which is my favorite personally. Love your stuff. Ive learned a ton from your channel. Can't wait for the next video.
I enjoy the batcave videos you make
Really underrated channel. Keep up the good work!
I'm humbled and inspired. I have and use a lot of different equipment some production, some homemade and I have the dojo downstairs too, although I've felt for some time that I'm inefficient. I could probably say "highly inefficient" in how I'm laid out. Thank you everyone for such amazing examples and all the brilliant interpretations.🤜🏻💥🤛🏽
This would be really cool as a reoccurring feature.
Best fitness UA-cam channel ever!
so interesting to see your work spaces as well as those of your subscribers! I only train at home and have built up a pretty nice gym in a 9' x 20' garage w/ a side storage area for treadmill (gf uses that) and bike. plus i have a huge driveway i use for tire flipping, sledgehammer swings, farmer carries, and other fun things.
You are the most unique and amazing fitness UA-camr, I’m loving all your content keep it up 🔥🔥🔥
Adam should do this every 2 years, it'd be cool to see the Bio-Arena evolve overtime
This Badass inspires me to train and pay attention to my personal fitness
Awesome video! Your BioArena and the many exercises you filmed there definitely influenced the Flynn Jungle Gym (under my persistence and my family's annoyance!)
Haha thank you! Your gym is insanely cool, so badly want a ladder like that now!
PLEASE DO MORE VIDEOS OF OTHERS GYMS SO COOOOOL!! I'M SO MOTIVATED TO MAKE MY BAT CAVE!
Loving your content, keep up the great work :)
Great to see so many nice homegyms here, definitely seeing ways to improve mine, even though for now i have to work with limited space as i dont have much more than my room accessable.
But definitely going to steal some ideas from here as soon as the prices for everything normalized again (e.g. the price for my 10 kg plates i bought in march 2020 doubled by now...)
Also I'm glad my submission still made it into the video (14:21)
and for anyone whose interested: got a total of 5 dumbbells with a ton of weights, 2 of the dumbbells i actually got from my dad, he already ahd them for 20+ years, but didnt use them
35, 25 and 15 kg resistance bands (2 of each)
a pull up bar, between 2 pieces of wall (which kinda cracked already)
and a jumping rope and 2 grip trainers
Otherwise Im getting creative when it comes to training... for dips i use my chair and my desk (with books on there, to even out the height difference), i got a backpack with weights in it (so far it didnt break with up to 25kg xD). Sometimes i also use my balcony railing to attach resistance bands to, or todo dips. Soon might try to jump out, and then climb back inside as a way to train to get over walls
For my work/gaming station, which has the specs it has mainly for my hobby as android developer (LineageOS for the LG V30, V40 and V50), it consists of a Ryzen 3900X, a RX6800XT (both watercooled), with 64GB RAM, and a total of nearly 8 TB of storage. Monitors are a AOC 25" 1440p on the left, and a MSI 3440x1440 100Hz screen as main monitor, and a cheap 4K TV on top, which i can swivel so i can watch TV/Netflix or game from bed.
Oh its ON!!! This gave me great ideas on how to implement on my dungeon
I have pullup bar + rings + hanging rope in the doorway between living room and dining room. Garden has rusty barbells plus homemade Bulgarian training bag. Garden gate has climbing fingerboard above it. Garage has punchbag and exercise bike + climbing wall. Front room has paralletes...Gyms, who needs 'em? ;-)
I'm taking ideas from this! I bought a pullup bar previously, and now I'm stealing the idea of the punching bag and the rope climbing contraption attached to the pullup bar next!
You by far have one of the coolest channels on youtube! Thanks for constantly cranking out interesting content!❤️
Definitely inspiring to see how people make use of the space they have. 😀
Awesome video Adam! Thanks so much for including me and my space in this! 🤙🏼
Thanks for sharing it! Yours is immense 💪🏻🔥
This one are some of the coolest videos ever
I'm so envious of some of these setups. I've just got a kettlebell under my ever-cluttered desk, which to be fair had to make room for a second (work) computer at the start of lockdown.
Batcaves - awesome. I am lucky to have a 90m square shed separate to the house. Half of it has become a dojo, the other half is supposed to be the workshop, but a chin up bar had materialised on the wall there - go figure!
Very nice, you inspired me guys to create my own. Soon God willing!
Female viewer here and i also use a lot of your tips in my trainings! TKS Bro(🇧🇷in da house)
I was legit looking for more content on this yesterday. Happy that he uploaded this today! 🙂
Becoming a big fan! Thanks for the videos
Also, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks Adam is a superhero. ✊
Great video! Another thing wrestlers do with the Bulgarian bag is they'll do the spin and then slam the bag on the ground in front with each spin
As a female viewer, I share this same training mindset you have of being a jack of all trades when it comes to being prepared for anything. Your style is appealing and easily translatable for us ladies, too! Let me know if I can answer any questions from a female perspective to help you out.
You are a great inspiration!
This was pretty inspiring. Just got a new space and just restarted working out, I will start little by little.
story using pull up bars
i fell off one while doing explosive ones on a door mounted - ripper the literal door structure apart and i fell. It was the worst injury i ever had. I broke my tail bone and ruptured my hip chassis. The ligaments that made up my hips got pulled even
I spent an entire month bed ridden and wondering if i could ever walk again.
Train safe everyone, don't be like me
... i think we are starting a movement. For me, a like to call it "aggressive self development geek"
Bruce Lee invented the protein shake but this guy is pretty good too lol
Your one of the best fitness UA-camrs, it's a shame you don't have more subs.
oh my god, so jealous of so many of these gyms. Beautiful stuff people!
