      @Zach Kabia I train because of Stephan amell. I think it's because i feel comfortable and motivated because it crosses over my enjoyment of watching superheroes and i feel like it relates to me. Training in the wild seemed cool. I use weights and stuff but using the wild is the next step.

    Coming from someone with archery and firearms experience there is absolutely no substitute to getting out and shooting. There are so many variables beyond hand eye coordination that contribute to being accurate. Things like the way you grip the weapon, the way you stand, the way you draw, the way you pull the trigger/release, your breathing and your grip as you release your arrow are just a few things that massively contribute to your accuracy or lack of. Having good hand eye is obviously helpful but not nearly as much as one might think, especially when it comes to combatives.

    You are on point with the tracking the fly situation. I used to do this out of necessity because I HATE flies. When you can track a fly with your eyes it almost looks as if it's flying in slow motion. Once you loose focus it's like the fly vanished!

      Hmmm, I do archery and is not really a workout, is more a mental that physical, in the club where I practice they are some people much better that I am but their physical performance is not so high. Plus create an imbalance in the muscles, English longbows archers have it because one hand push and other pull.

    I really like these more practical videos. How to be more practical in one's training. I am happy for anyone who can bench 300 pounds. If it's good for you...good for you. But it does little for me. I do a decent number of close grip push ups, since that's how I will push someone away from me, of get up from the floor. Push a car. Throw a punch. Fire a pistol held at arms length. And so on. You're videos give me lots of ideas. Thanks.

    if you move 350 pounds, you need to be way more stable, than if you move 100 pounds on a bosu ball.

    the risk of injury is less, because you can control the environment.

    I get really annoyed when people suggest that something like benching can’t have a practical application. I am not even big into heavy lifts either.
    Like, if you can bench 300 then that means your potential to do pushing related movements is that much better then those who bench less. Like, I get the idea that there are more or less functional exercises but benching is “just for show”? Come one man, so full of yourself. It is that bias mentality with only training in one way so you fail to see the merits of other ways.

      I don’t remember what I said here but I personally love the bench press. I love mixing styles. That said, pushing standing up is very different from pushing lying down and the reality of ever needing to push a huge amount off yourself from that position is low… This becomes more apparent when you consider that cues like retracting shoulder blades would make no sense outside of a powerlifting competition. Still, it’s a good move for just getting under lots of weight, and I would recommend people to do it…

      It was the actor who said it, not bioneer, but I agree. I used to do a bit of fight training, and one of my mates always destroyed me. He was about 15kg heavier, but I had an 80kg bench to his 150kg bench. I'd never beat him in wrestling from standup, he would defend when I had him in mount or side control by simply pushing me off, etc. Strength carries over heaps regardless.
      That said, it doesn't have to be a particular kind of exercise that people do, and there's worse things than not having a huge bench

    Hey adam i have a question based off setups. I want to know how to decrease the lower back pain side effect of it and how to make it work my core more instead of my hip flexors. Do you have any ideas?

    • @TheBioneer
      @TheBioneer  7 років тому

      +Invictus The key is to use more of a rolling crunch motion, rather than a folding in half motion. If it's hurting your lower back, perhaps try a different move like hanging leg raises? You could also consider an ab rocker. You're doing a ton of situps by the sounds od it, so may just be fatigue!

The reason why I ask about the track is because I'm doing and Independent Short film her in the DK (Denmark) and I'm trying find just the right music for an Epic fightscene between to best friend. Is there a chance I could borrow that track? I Will Of course give you full credit for the song.
