You can get the Revenant as a good guy. It's obtainable near the end of the Sysdef/Crimson Fleet questline and not dependant on who you side with after. It's on board....(spoilers ahead for anyone readying) - The Legacy, next to Kryx's body.
You don’t even need to steal Frankie’s key. Just go up onto the roof, look for the little hut looking structure on the corner of the building with a tall pole with yellow lights on it, there’s a vent you can open that leads into the Hideout that requires no key or anything else to get into.
You can find some really good weapons outside of those special quests just by exploring a little in the game. Fairly early in the game, I walked over to a "structure" I saw on my scanner and found a Big Bang shotgun at an outpost taken over by pirates that had almost 300 damage per hit including over 200 energy damage. It blows most normal enemies away in one shot and takes a big chunk out of more powerful ones. The advantage to a shotgun like that is you get a lot of damage for each shell used. Several of the weapons in the video are powerful, but burn through ammunition VERY quickly.
I am a simple guy. I always revert back to the Va'ruun Inflictor, Advanced and Instigating. Around 1000 damage combined per shot, and 2000 for the first shot on a target is basically killing everything with a single round. That's especially great at the beginning of a NG+ when usually low on ammunition (if you don’t like sleeping a lot 😂). One, the Reflection, can be bought from the Starborne vendor, but a couple laps around Serpentis will give you as many class C ships and advanced Inflictors as you like. The Revenant is fun but eats ammo like crazy. A good starter gun is Jake's Hangover Cure, behind Jake's counter. It there reliably, you have to succeed stealing it though.
I got lucky and found a legendary one inch punch varuun starshard that has incendiary and the deal double damage to enemies with full health. And by far it’s still my most powerful weapon. 260 physical damage and 1,200 energy damage. Basically one shots anything that isn’t a terrormorph on very hard.
If you’re grinding out the NG+ I’d say the best to get is the Mindtear from Kore Kinetics in Neon. It will shred opponents like the revenant without having to do the full questline for a powerful gun. The ammo is readily available everywhere too.
Vampire's Gift is a unique Kodama you can buy from the Gualter Avezedo at the Red Devils HQ on Mars. It has the Med Theft effect and a bunch of good upgrades pre-installed. It rips through all kinds of enemies, and it uses the cheap and common 7.77mm ammo. Legacy is a good early-to-mid game pistol you can buy in Akila City.
The Zapper is a Is a pretty nifty pistol with Tesla Rounds and the alway fun Binary trigger (pull=bang, release=repeat) with a large magazine, HP rounds, a Long Barrel, and choosing to ad a suppressor instead of the stock compensator and you get a ridiculous mid ranged “Sniper pistol” that came empty a round faster than an SMG if your clicky finger is faster enough.
I picked up the Revenant on my first universe, and it made every enemy after that EXTREMELY easy to kill. The only gun I've had that has beaten it was a random epic magstorm with Furious and Handloading effects on them. These two stack amazingly well, and I'm able to take starborne out in the sunken temple in one burst.
My Legendary Shattering Anti-Personnel Rapid Va’Ruun Inflictor maxed out at the bench has served me well as it one-shots everything even without Instigator. Got it around level 60 and have used nothing else since. Level 139 now.
In my first NG+ playthrough, which I'm still on, I was lucky to get a rare extended mag advanced magshear early on just by hitting up some POIs to make cash. 150 round mag. With mods it's basically the Revenant. Except it doesn't have lacerate. I like to think of it as The Revenant's slightly younger cousin. Either one gets the job done.
Please Bethesda add a rover. Let it be given to us through a quest or from an in game purchase at the ship techs. Allow us to be able to have a bit of customization options and please make a ship module that carries your rover so we can have the option to walk out our ship like we do now or use another exit that we can drive out of. Its ok if the rover isnt allowed in settlements. Its cool. If no ship module at least some sort of strap outside your ship so you can see it under your ship while flying. Thank you.
3 weapons I could've missed. Two legendaries on the party ship during crimson fleet quests. And the best weapon, a big bang legendary, was found on a ghost ship (I can't remember where I found the ship) When you find it, you'll know. Has one of those face sucker from the alien movie in it. Was sitting next to a body, but not in his inventory, very easy to miss. Other than that, I have all the weapons mentioned in you're video
@@Pindexter77 after shuting down the airvents and everyone gets locked down when you get to the last guy (forgot his name gal bank dude) there's two weapon crates with the guns. They'll be contraband, sell them and buy back in the key.
I have the Revenant, but don't use it. I have found that the only benefit it brings to the table, beyond a custom modified Advanced Magshear, is the increased magazine size.
I did the Crimson Fleet missions early. My Kneehauler and Revanant were my favorite guns in the early game. Sadly they're now unusable cuz they both do damage of about 6 lol
Got every one of these, i'm stupidly thorough, I guess.(was really hoping I missed something when I watched hehe) I do hope this video helps other people! The Revenant is just stupidly overpowered. I've actually been fighting a tough enemy and finally said, You know what? 'press Revenant bind key' BVVVVVVVTTTTT. Cause you just can't use it all the time haha. Thanks for this.
The legendary old earth rifle, can you get the mission if you already did the bank heist mission on Akila? I overheard them talking but didn't stick around.
Frustratingly I had some awesome weapons a couple of great ships but when you "complete" the run through you lose them all. I'm half tempted to go back to a previous save as I miss those items. I can't be bothered to redo the lengthy quests just to get them all again.

I seem to find one great weapon per playthrough ...a Shotty in my first a Magsniper in my second and my current one a legendary one inch punch Orion that does insane damage at distance
My Shattering Operator's Advanced Breach (Gold) outperforms most of these. I didn't even spend points in Shotguns (yet). 595 damage, 12 Fire Rate, 48 Range, 78.5 Accuracy. 7/8 Mods: Recon Laser Sight, Short Scope, Suppressor, Tactical Stock, Slug Shots, High Powered, Fully Automatic. Revenant is great for your comps tho.
Almost every time I find legendary equipment it's a tier below what I'm already using. Weapon modding skill is maxed as is special project skill. Everything I carry is "advanced" anything less gets sold to the vendors. Revenant however is my go-to gun. Huge magazine and great dmg. I've noticed that suits, helmets, and jump packs have an additional tier "superior" does anyone know if the weapons eventually scale up to that as well?
The mutineer is a crazy for a weapon you can get so early lvl 10 or lower my first play through was using it. I have honestly not found a weapon to match it including the ones above.

This thing mows down Level 100 Starborn in one clip, (6 bullets). Very fun!
The last two are the only guns that are decent outside of early game. My VaRuun rifle does over 900 dmg on every shot plus annihilator rounds doing aoe damage. It was in loot at around lvl85 on a lvl75 planet.

Going after Barret, approaching the outside of the initial base on Bessel 2, I entered the occupied base via low ground and the front door. Mod fight I saw him up at the crest of the overlooking cliff, Chameleon-ed with a suppressed, stealth lazer Pro’s Lazer Rifle that I hadn’t given him. He was popping heads OHKO style with his stupid sneak damage boost from Concealment. Finally, melee weapons (long melee weapons like wazika-tanas) have a running slide attack with Gymnastics one. It also works with power attack, so if you see a dude at the base of some stairs chilling on a bench, you his skull like a pool ball for fun and profit.

How long to rest/wait..not sure. I just did 24 hours and he was done having his little bitch fit and I could buy/sell things with him again. I got the Mutineer, definitely a good Magshot. But then I found another non-named Legendary Magshot that had these added perks: - Furious: Each consecutive shot does more damage - Med Theft: Chance that humans drop extra Med Packs on Death - Shattered: Break through even the strongest armor I then modded it at the work bench with the following: - Magnetic Rails - Recon Laser Sight - Muzzle Brake - Depleted Uranium Rounds - Hair Trigger - Fully Automatic I only have level 1 in Pistols, but this results in Phys: 309, Fire Rate: 189, Range: 24, and Accuracy: 67.5. This thing mows down Level 100 Starborn in one clip, (6 bullets). Very fun! The only thing I don't like about these guns is the .43 MI Array ammo is fairly rare and isn't sold in large quantities, that I've found yet. However, the Revenant is definitely my main go to.
I got mine given to me in the UC questline. When you are about to go into Londinion, as you're talking to the commander she'll tell you there's someone waiting for you in the armory. He'll be standing in the corner, just walk over and he'll give it to you, a gift from the council. Mine was legendary.
You're pretty much showing all low DPS weapons? Like I get you probably want views but revenant is basically entry level. You can get a much more powerful magshear crate loading on a lv75 planet on very hard. it may take you a couple hours of spamming outpost weapon crates but eventually you'll get a good legendary roll. Furious incendiary is nasty. Also the va run particle beam rifle can be setup to nearly 1000 dam between physical and energy. One of those with the instigating or furious perk is nasty, instigating will one shot many. You can also sell the free weapons you created crate spamming for ammo
I'm being constructive, but I'll be direct. When I first started Starfield, I also listened to similar advice in your video. I've regretted most of them. The Despondent Assassin uses a rare ammo. That series of 3 quests also requires 24 h to wait. It doesn't take 10 mins. Without sleeping, it takes quite long. The issue with this type of content is that is exactly this - just content. It doesn't take into account the play experience. That's not going to earn you subscribers. The most common ammo is the 7.77mm & the 11mm. Instead of looking for the weapons you've recommended, a starting player will be better off with a modded beowulf. I'm in my NG7+, and only started enjoying the game proper because I stopped listening to advice such as yours. That powerful Magshear you have on this list is the Revenant, which is at the end of the Crimson Fleet Faction questline. It's not something that a starting player has easy access to & definitely not using ammo that is easily avaliable.
I find every video of Starfield useless. I made that game my bitch. All my outposts on extreme planets. All important skills upgraded. Every weapons has a god roll. Level 146. Xbox. Get on my level scrubs.

Ok the hidden merchant in the well, where is the guy? I’ve been all over the well and can’t fund him
Inside Apex Electronics
I got the Mutineer, definitely a good Magshot. But then I found another non-named Legendary Magshot that had these added perks:
- Furious: Each consecutive shot does more damage
- Med Theft: Chance that humans drop extra Med Packs on Death
- Shattered: Break through even the strongest armor
I then modded it at the work bench with the following:
- Magnetic Rails
- Recon Laser Sight
- Muzzle Brake
- Depleted Uranium Rounds
- Hair Trigger
- Fully Automatic
I only have level 1 in Pistols, but this results in Phys: 309, Fire Rate: 189, Range: 24, and Accuracy: 67.5.
This thing mows down Level 100 Starborn in one clip, (6 bullets). Very fun!
The only thing I don't like about these guns is the .43 MI Array ammo is fairly rare and isn't sold in large quantities, that I've found yet.
However, the Revenant is definitely my main go to.
While I appreciate this advice on weapons, I had to go to another video for directions once I got to Neon.
So I never ran across the micro gun. Guess need to save and reload a few times to get it to spawn.
I got mine given to me in the UC questline. When you are about to go into Londinion, as you're talking to the commander she'll tell you there's someone waiting for you in the armory. He'll be standing in the corner, just walk over and he'll give it to you, a gift from the council. Mine was legendary.
@@dronysus6435 that’s probably why, I never talked to anyone
I read the it was a bug causing that gun not to spawn for a lot of people, myself included.
I will NOT put the Revenant down
Why do these guys keep saying Revenant is faction aligned?
I didn’t get the microgun
I’m simp for Keoni
You're pretty much showing all low DPS weapons? Like I get you probably want views but revenant is basically entry level. You can get a much more powerful magshear crate loading on a lv75 planet on very hard. it may take you a couple hours of spamming outpost weapon crates but eventually you'll get a good legendary roll. Furious incendiary is nasty. Also the va run particle beam rifle can be setup to nearly 1000 dam between physical and energy. One of those with the instigating or furious perk is nasty, instigating will one shot many. You can also sell the free weapons you created crate spamming for ammo
Love ignoring bullet damage in a space suit while offing people with one swing of a katana. It's so immersive.
That solace is not very good.
Looking forward to giving my morally neutral follower the Revenant and 1 round 😁
I find every video of Starfield useless. I made that game my bitch. All my outposts on extreme planets. All important skills upgraded. Every weapons has a god roll. Level 146. Xbox. Get on my level scrubs.
I found one good one but, they patched the glitch
