The Novablast Disruptor also uses the weapon charge-up mechanic, a fully charged shot will stun most human and alien NPCs in a single shot, and it still only uses 1 ammo.
Much more useful during stealth missions like that too, as a guard that goes down in 1 shot and is unseen does not raise the alarm.

If you're wearing two pieces of Chameleon armor (helmet and suit for example) when you're crouching you can steal anything without anyone saying anything. Occasionally you'll get a bounty, but you probably weren't 100% still before snagging the item. The only time this doesn't work is if you can't reach the item from a crouched position and there's nothing to stand on to get some more height.

@@michealvincent731 really? I'm just talking about stealing from stores. You put the Chameleon pieces on, crouch down, wait for the meter to return to hidden, and then steal. Repeat as desired. I wouldn't bother with this for combat situations. Also until you get Concealment your Chameleon armor will be worse while sneaking than being armorless for combat situations. Once you take Concealment armor weight doesn't affect stealth anymore.

Better - just ignore the landing party, rush to the door and board ! Every second counts ! Once you are inside, they won't follow you - you just need to deal with the crew.
I got most frustrating experiences with such tasty ships, when, after you run like a mad man to get there, you lose time in a shooting with the landed guys and when you're done, the ship is taking off....
Now I learned the "pro" way:
1 - When you hear the roar above, equip the weapon with the best scope ( I use a Hard Kill with a 6,5 scope)
2 - look at the ship when is getting near the landing spot using the scope - if is small, or is not black or dark green, ignore that one - usually is a cheap civilian ship not worth your time, or is a yellow UC ship with the dude inside repairing,
3 - BUT if you see a big one dark green or black, you hit the jackpot ! Do a fast save - then - Run as fast as you can , ignore the landed NPCs, go straight to the door and enter the ship. If you managed that, you almost got her. You can get as much as 50-60k on such a ship.

Another thing you can do with the random Igloo symbol vender is once you find them, go just far enough away that you can put down an outpost marker. Then even if you don't build a outpost there if will make the location as an outpost and you can just come back to your outpost and the vender will be right there. This works best on planets with resources you actually want. Save first then land in a location you want to build an outpost on if there isn't an Igloo symbol vender in the area, reload and try again. Eventually you will get one, then put down your outpost and use the vender whenever you want to.

Put some 3 Poseidon 230 on that baby and you will cruise as a boss at 100-110, with a 75-80 mobility, armed to the teeth, AND with a mountain of stuff on your cargo... This is a trick that I use that I've never seen mentioned before by anyone. It involves encumbrance and this can be done at any level. If you are out gathering items and become encumbered, find a small critter, kill it and transfer as many items to it that it will take. Then pick it up and walk (run or hop) at a normal pace back to your ship. If you come across enemies drop the body and fight normally, then pick the body up again. Be aware that some bodies may disappear taking your items with it, so don't leave them unatended too long.
Trick/Tip 2) If there is a guard standing in view of something that you want to steal, you can bump him to move him to another position and then go behind him and talk to him he will generally remain in that position with his back to whatever you wanted to steal.

Also you have to wait 48 hrs in UT time and not local time. So as long as your wait says 48 hrs UT or more you can replenish trader credits. For instance in new atlantis you just have to wait 24 hrs local time as it is 50 hrs UT to replenish.

If you truly can't stand just waiting 48 UC hours in Neon (yeah, that 24 seems awfully long sometimes), you're better off just popping to an outpost or landing zone on Venus, resting 1 hour, and then fast traveling back to a now restocked Neon.

Try making your outpost on Bessel 3b. It's a level 10 moon, has many resources but primarily AL and FE for initial base materials, requires no levels in Planetary Habitation, is not far from Sol and Alpha, and best of all 1 hour local is 55 hours UT.
Take a cat nap every time you visit, like after every mission to dump resources or craft, and you rest all vendors. Feels real natural vs flying a billion miles to Venus for a cat nap.

Bessel III-b also has a civilian outpost and a 57:1 timescale, so you can do it there. It's not extreme, and you can mine adaptive frames and isomagnets to your heart's content with one outpost.

Aurora can be found outside of Neon City. I came across some pirates at a facility on a bounty mission. I was there to kill just 1 named pirate. Killed him but decided to investigate and sweep the entire facility for fun. Found a room that had almost two dozen Aurora scattered around the room. I just laughed 😂to self thinking, damn these pirates are all junkies! My second tip seems a little complicated to explain and it involves Contraband. I only discovered this by happenstance. It seems if you have Contraband on you the player and ut may extend to ship inventory, but I can only speak for the player since I didn’t test it with ship. But it seems if contraband on player you can’t exactly immediately fast travel jump to a security planet you’ve been to before.
I was in Femi System after taking over two Varuun ships and had a bunch of Contraband. I was then later trying to ship jump back to Jemison and realized I couldn’t. I forget I had contraband on self. I then noticed all the travel jump areas in Jemison was all light grayed out, thought it seemed weird as the travel jump areas usually had a white background with the text. It was only them I thought and remembered I had contraband and likely a security check prevented me from jumping straight to the lodge on Jemison. So I jumped to The Den to sell all my contraband. But that’s how I stumbled onto that tip purely by accident. Now if that extend to the ship your on which I don’t know, then it can be a way to just test check if you have contraband on a stolen ship you haven’t completely sweeped for contraband. I will test this myself later but that’s one the best tip I’ve stumbled on myself and haven’t heard anywhere.

If you have contraband (and a nav point just outside of the city you want to land at ie the empty nest near Akila is one that opens up naturally in the game, when you get Sam. However, for New Atlantis you might have to get just far enough from the city to place an outpost and make a landing pad there, just make sure you can 'see' the city from your outpost as the square you land in is randomly generated otherwise) you can travel there before the scan initiates when orbiting than all you have to do is waltz on into town contraband in hand xD The scan only authorizes you to land in the city, otherwise they don't care what you do.
edit: yup, I just tested this xD a bit of a walk from the empty nest, you may need to use your ground map or note where ships are headed. I ran to the tallest hill and you can see it from there. Anyway it works! Happy smugglin'!
after running around the city you'll notice the ship is still at the empty nest :( but all you need to do (put a quicksave down cuz it can sometimes be bugged!) is go to the ship technician and choose your ship. You don't have to do anything with it, just choose your ship to upgrade or ship build or w/e than cancel! than your ship should be at the pad it usually is at.

The problem is not that vendors don't have enough money, the problem is that players keep taking everything they see to sell it for credits they don't even need. I don't take ANYTHING that I'm not going to use, not even ammo, and even this way I have far more credits than I'd ever need. But people keep accumulating ridiculous amounts of money and complaining it's "hard" to get more, like if it was gonna have any real impact in the game. That something is there doesn't mean you have to take it, you know

I just wish there was a legit (non modded) way to increase the amount of credits vendors have. Kinda goofy to run through a few locations, end up with hundreds of pounds of guns.. then most vendors can only pay out like 5k. Where some weapons are worth more than that to start with. Hate having to sit, wait, do it again for a couple k. I found a few that have like 11k, but this is also pittance. You'd think the trade authority would have considerably more. And the kiosk's having only 5k at major city landing sites.. wth? =/

The vendor on Venus is pretty much not useful in the long run. Especially if you have a ton of high value items. 5K from the vendor goes by on a single sell and then you turn around. Sit. Wait. Wash, rinse, repeat ad nauseum. Just do the Crimson fleet quest and take your loot to the Key. Many NPCs with a lot more credits to dispense for your looted stuff. Most inventory sold off much quicker. If you still want to use Venus....build an outpost beacon near the settlement so you don't lose the landing site. Just fast travel to the beacon then to the settlement.
