I'm not in any way trying to defend people who consciously or unconsciously lie for malicious reasons. BUT I still personally feel that people talking about lying without context, are either misdirected or a bit foolish, as there can be a MILEWIDE difference between two "lies". For instance some lies are purely intended as "social lubricant", which brings the "lier" no benefit other than avoiding mutual discomfort or even strife that the "raw truth" would have caused. Not to mention all the utter lies that are used solely for the benefit of the recipient. And every normally functional adult lies in this way, quite frequently.
And I'm not accusing You of doing so here, rather just pointing out that "taring all lies with same brush" is a bit ignorant.
      Best regards.

I don't think there is anything known about DB Cooper since the name itself was an alias... All that's known was the guy was astoundingly prepared, phenomenally knowledgeable about the technical aspects of what he was doing, and was one daring son of a gun who got away with one of the weirdest armed robberies in history... Of course his only weapon was a bomb which I don't even think was actually a bomb either that or he took it with him,, and the only psychological indications of the perpetrator was that he was extremely meticulous, did his homework and had nerves of steel to accomplish what he wanted to accomplish, and not really hurting anyone in the process...... Completely weird.......

@lifespanwellnessbeautyAt libraries, even to use their public computers, one must have a library card. To be issued a library card, one must complete a simple application with name, address, and a govt-issued ID must be verified. So, law enforcement could track his searches from his library card [once they confiscated his documents and other evidence] and verify, based on his library card #, what Internet searches were conducted.

Can someone explain why two F-15 fighters were sent to intercept his plane? Was it because he had sent an SOS? Or was it because after he jumped the aircraft was in airspace it shouldn't have been in, or was unresponsive to air traffic control? Is sending F-15s standard procedure in any of these situations? (I know nothing about aviation emergency protocol.)

With 10 or 15 indictments he could be a front runner right now. He would have to bump up the volume of lies if hes not to be left behind.
