      Well he got away with it for a couple days, of course they knew he wasn't dead and when they checked out the plane they found it wasn't stolen and his idiotic plan fell apart and if his plane would have killed anybody, he would have been up for murder.... I'm confused how he hoped they would think he died? The plane ran out of gas so searching it would be no problem, was he hoping they would think he parachuted bleeding profusely despite no blood in cockpit, and bled out mid air and decomposed and chute disintegrated

      I'm not in any way trying to defend people who consciously or unconsciously lie for malicious reasons. BUT I still personally feel that people talking about lying without context, are either misdirected or a bit foolish, as there can be a MILEWIDE difference between two "lies". For instance some lies are purely intended as "social lubricant", which brings the "lier" no benefit other than avoiding mutual discomfort or even strife that the "raw truth" would have caused. Not to mention all the utter lies that are used solely for the benefit of the recipient. And every normally functional adult lies in this way, quite frequently.
      And I'm not accusing You of doing so here, rather just pointing out that "taring all lies with same brush" is a bit ignorant.
      Best regards.

What's scary is that he believed his own BS & even if you had a mountain of evidence disputing his lies, he would never give in to admit it. • @micnorton9487
      @micnorton9487 9 місяців тому +2

      I don't think there is anything known about DB Cooper since the name itself was an alias... All that's known was the guy was astoundingly prepared, phenomenally knowledgeable about the technical aspects of what he was doing, and was one daring son of a gun who got away with one of the weirdest armed robberies in history... Of course his only weapon was a bomb which I don't even think was actually a bomb either that or he took it with him,, and the only psychological indications of the perpetrator was that he was extremely meticulous, did his homework and had nerves of steel to accomplish what he wanted to accomplish, and not really hurting anyone in the process...... Completely weird.......

    Dr Grande do you take viewer suggestions? I would like to suggest the case of Robert Yurkanin jr who killed his father on ft Lauderdale beach in 2007. It got some press due to do many people witnessing the event and the father had Alzheimer’s. Bobby as he was known was a strange guy my husband and I knew as a friend for a while before this happened. I’d be interested to hear your a analysis of the crime and his very light sentence he ended up receiving. Thanks!

      @lifespanwellnessbeautyAt libraries, even to use their public computers, one must have a library card. To be issued a library card, one must complete a simple application with name, address, and a govt-issued ID must be verified. So, law enforcement could track his searches from his library card [once they confiscated his documents and other evidence] and verify, based on his library card #, what Internet searches were conducted.

    4 years is a very weak sentence for intentionally wrecking an aircraft, there could have been people killed on the ground by that action. I don't like the majority of federal sentences, because on the whole they are much lighter than state sentences are..

But I am sure many are deluding themselves into thinking he still loves them but was just too scared to face going to prison. Guaranteed he is getting good money on his books from his family.
