At Home 45 Minute CHAIR WORKOUT | Chair Exercises for Seniors and Beginners | Full body workout

- This 45 minute chair workout is suitable for beginners and seniors who are ready for a longer workout. The chair exercises are safe for beginners and include cardio, strength training, core training, and stretching. This is definitely tougher than the usual 30 minute class due to the longer duration but go at your own pace, listen to your body, and do what works for YOU. You can always slow down the pace if it's too challenging (or speed it up).

I have been in a wheelchair for 7 years now for the second time. I need to do (2) 45-60 min. workouts in the course of a day...so that I can get stronger to get out of my w/c for good. Since June 24th, I started your 60 min. full body w/o for Srs. (The video with the pink dogwood tree in the background.) From there, my body started to get used to what was needed for me to do, so, I had to shift a bit. I then went onto your #15 video, twice a day. That one became my favorite of the two. NOW, I shifted again; and this video has become my favorite. Why, because there are a couple of things that challenge me here to do, such as sit-to-stand, extending and raising both legs at the same time...BUT I am NOT leaving this video until I can do the whole thing with excellence. Thank you because you encourage me and give me hope to persevere and endure the exercises until the end. For what I am thankful for today and probably EVERY day is that first, God graced me with another day...AND secondly that I WILL COMPLETE THESE WORKOUTS!!! IN JESUS NAME!!! AMEN!!! I was so grateful to discover this longer video this morning. A couple of months ago I could not have completed it but now I can because of the excellent programs you and others provide. It really is possible not only to get in shape as a mobility challened senior but it's even possible to get into GOOD shape! I enjoy the workouts and am very grateful for the classes you provide. Letting you know how grateful i am today because i had to take a two month break from my workout program while I had a detached retina fixed. Finally got cleared again on 15 June and was grateful that I could still (barely lol) make it through this one with my 5 lbs weighhts. Thank you so much as always.

This is my 2nd time to do this. I enjoy the 45 min chair workouts. The thing I am thankful for is clean, cool water. Although we who have it often take it for granted, I realize there are many in our world who are not so blessed. And thank you for all you do to encourage seniors to exercise. Regular exercise is a great challenge for me and your videos have helped very much. Thank you.

This video is great. Having found out I have what’s called juvenile arthritis (48 y.o.) sometimes the pain in my knees is just awful. Then I have complete numbness in my arms and hands that just comes on when it wants. The seated exercises are fantastic. Thank you so much.

Like the verbal ques that you give especially between changes in movements. Sometimes I close my eye while following and it helps me know when to change. Closing my eyes during exercises is relaxing.

There wasn't a moment when I wasn't delighted by the variety of moves in this routine--almost all new to me, with the added benefit of coupling upper and lower exercises which provided an additional dimension to many of the moves. This was a superb workout, and I was surprised that the wrist exercises are ones I do independently. The ab work was thorough, and sufficiently challenging to maximize results. I took the challenge and performed them by lifting both legs along with two-sided jumping jacks. I felt grateful knowing I had a good night's sleep that enabled me to truly execute this routine full out. Thank you for such a thorough full body routine, Jules...Anastasia

Thank you again for another fab workout !!!!! The shoulder burn during the workout was a challenge however I kept going - that's what I'm grateful for :) Also grateful to have access to such great workouts that leave me feeling accomplished and energised, so for that thank you so much ;)

I have checked in with you before but this was my first time with this routine. I an 80-year-old male with severely compromised knees but lots of leg and upper body strength. Broke a sweat at the 10-minute mark and hung in there, using soup cans for hand weights. Sure I'll be sore tomorrow but it will be a good kind of sore -- Andrew from Howard County, MD

I don't have a specific one for breathing exercising for stress & anxiety but most of the workouts should help with both since exercise does wonders for stress & anxiety. I really like your 45 minute class. I have a shoulder that has damage from thyroid surgery. This class is just right to work my shoulder. I have been at it for about a month and I am starting to feel stronger.

I teach older adults with intellectual disabilities. Your workouts are just right for them. If they aren't able to follow every move, they are at least trying and getting exercise. Your videos have become part of our morning routine for 5-7 minutes. My assistant teacher and I love your videos, too. Thank you, Jules!

Since moved from OR to ID, my 83 year old friend and I continue what used to be our Monday Pilates sessions, rotating in core workouts via speakerphone once a week. This one incorporates the resistance/weigh training with abs/core challenges. We love it! And we're grateful to YOU, Jules.

Never did any exercise before we started with the beginner's class of 30 minutes and worked the first 15 min, twenty minutes, and after that we were able to do it all in one session. Doing this for a few weeks we now found the 45 minutes and not being perfect yet we did it again. Thanks for sharing from Mexico. Maybe a little tip can you put a small video in the actual video with the side movements you do?

Welcome to my channel, Marlene! I started these videos for UA-cam when Covid started since I knew the senior centers, etc., would be closed. I wanted to ensure seniors had easy access to exercise classes so I am super happy to read that you found me. I would love to have some seniors with me in my workouts...most people I know don't want to be on camera, though. I'll have to give it some more thought for a possibility in the future.

Hi, I discovered this video through a search. I just started the 75Hard program 2 days ago and I am so sore I didn’t want to walk or even stand for exercise today. You do such a great job teaching and keeping the workout upbeat. Thank you for a less-intense but still challenging workout! 😁
You're the second person recently who has mentioned that program. It is definitely important to start light, and work up to more over time. Starting hard right from the get-go is deflating...and painful. Thank you for letting me know that you enjoyed this workout and congrats to you for getting back up, and starting again! I hope you enjoy more of my workouts. Just so you're aware, I create gentle, beginner and intermediate level workouts (so some of them will be too easy, etc.).
