Same I'm 69 in May and am very sedentary with various health issues including diabetes and arthritis...I was looking for gentle exercises and found this channel. I will recommend it to my 89 year old mother who broke her hip last year and is still recovering from it. Thank you
Hi. I am so very happy to have found your channel and chair exercises. I am 65 years of age and suffer from Fibromaylgia, Osteoarthritis, knee pain and neuropathy. I also have had a Cervical Fusions, 3 to be exact. One and 5 years later 2 more back to back which landed me in ICU for a week. I have been for the longest time looking for a excercise to do daily but sitting down for I cannot do excercises as I use to when I attended the gym before my surgeries. I just want to say thank you for thinking of us and for this video. This chair excercise I was able to do till the end even though YES in pain but I refuse to not finish it. My wife and I do this exercise every day, and have been doing so for the last 3 months. We are 66 and 65. We have noticed increased flexibility and have experienced less injuries from muscular strain during this time. We really appreciate having this video!

I always do all of your other classes. I was on vacation and fell and broke my foot. Then with my hobbling along etc it made my back go out. This was so perfect and I am so glad that you offer these classes for us who hurt ourselves but still want to join you. You are just an amazing woman!

I am so happy to have found your site. There are exercises for whatever mood I am or what I feel I can accomplish any particular day: long/short, easy/challenging, etc. So, no matter what, I can find the time and motivation to exercise every day. I appreciate more than you can know that you talk and explain the value of each exercise and the tips to remember as we do the exercises instead of sitting still while you chat us up. No wasted time. AND we get a full 20 minutes of movement if the timer says 20 minutes. The perfect option for me.

I have osteoarthritis in both knees but I love to move my body. I try to walk a mile 5 times a week, even in my apartment. These range of motion exercises were a perfect addition to my walks! They were not strenuous and I actually enjoyed them! Thank you for taking your time out to do these exercises for us seniors! ❤

Hi, thank you for helping us exercise. My husband and I started this work out this morning. My husband is 65 and I am 61. We are on Keto, my husband has lost 61 lbs. I am having trouble loosing. I have lost 24 lbs then I gain 5. I know I have lost in inches. Because all my pants are baggy. I know men loose faster than women, which sucks. Our chiropractor said I needed to start exercising. So here we are.
Hi! Congratulations on starting to exercise! See how you do with the gentle exercises but if you can, move up to the beginner workouts since you will burn more calories. The 7 day seated workout would likely be suitable. Are you wanting to do seated or standing?
This is just the right speed for me, and seems to stretch where I need that. I marked it for repeating frequently. And it doesn't hurt my arthritic joints.

@@ImprovedHealth I looked at some other videos, but I will continue on the one I’m currently doing until I can do them all without pain, if possible. In a few weeks, if the pain is still there, as I’ve had shoulder joint problems since I was 11, but my legs and back, I will try your next one up and slowly increase what I do and the speed. I tried that running in the chair last night, but it sent shooting pains up my leg that is sensitive and sore all over. I’m not sure it that will improve after permanent damage from my spinal surgery then the knee replacement that became infected. Another good one to do! I like that it is a beginner workout, but uses the water bottles! Some days, like today, I want to do a video for about 20 minutes, and want to feel I accomplished something without wearing myself out! I am enjoying doing your seated videos as time goes on ! Thank you so much. I appreciate that your exercises were slow as I have a fused back and had 2 knee replacements. The last one I got an infection and was hospitalised again after my first spinal surgery that failed I virtually couldn’t walk for a year. In the last 4 years my mobility has been so compromised by all 4 surgeries and recovery has ended up difficult. I feel worse in my body after all the surgeries and just want to get strength and mobility back and not have to continue to use a walker. I have looked at so many different exercises, but so many are way out of my reach. So I really appreciate that I was able to do the exercises even with my bad shoulders. I’m so very grateful to you for this exercise program. I will be back everyday repeating these, thank you so much. I will check out all your other videos as my muscles and mobility improves 💜💜💜

I tried the running in the chair but it just sent pain shooting up my leg to my knee, the latest replacement knee that had an infection after 5 weeks. I have permanent nerve pain, swelling and that whole leg has been painful to touch since my first spinal surgery that went wrong. 💜
@@shaz8486Knowing that, just be sure to stick with the 'gentle level' workouts on either channel. It sounds like those will be best for gaining strength, mobility and flexibility.

I am 73 yrs old..3 yrs ago i started swimming daily and walking in my garden and lost 6kg, thankfully. Then i developed a pronating arch..hence i could not exercise..gained 5kg..i decided to train twice a week with a personal trainer so that i dont hurt my foot. Hi. I am so very happy to have found your channel and chair exercises. I am 65 years of age and suffer from Fibromaylgia, Osteoarthritis, knee pain and neuropathy. I also have had a Cervical Fusions, 3 to be exact. One and 5 years later 2 more back to back which landed me in ICU for a week. I have been for the longest time looking for a excercise to do daily but sitting down for I cannot do excercises as I use to when I attended the gym before my surgeries. I just want to say thank you for thinking of us and for this video. This chair excercise I was able to do till the end even though YES in pain but I refuse to not finish it. I always do all of your other classes. I was on vacation and fell and broke my foot. Then with my hobbling along etc it made my back go out. This was so perfect and I am so glad that you offer these classes for us who hurt ourselves but still want to join you. You are just an amazing woman!

I am so happy to have found your site. There are exercises for whatever mood I am or what I feel I can accomplish any particular day: long/short, easy/challenging, etc. So, no matter what, I can find the time and motivation to exercise every day. I appreciate more than you can know that you talk and explain the value of each exercise and the tips to remember as we do the exercises instead of sitting still while you chat us up. No wasted time. AND we get a full 20 minutes of movement if the timer says 20 minutes. The perfect option for me.

I have osteoarthritis in both knees but I love to move my body. I try to walk a mile 5 times a week, even in my apartment. These range of motion exercises were a perfect addition to my walks! They were not strenuous and I actually enjoyed them! Thank you for taking your time out to do these exercises for us seniors! ❤

Hi, thank you for helping us exercise. My husband and I started this work out this morning. My husband is 65 and I am 61. We are on Keto, my husband has lost 61 lbs. I am having trouble loosing. I have lost 24 lbs then I gain 5. I know I have lost in inches. Because all my pants are baggy. I know men loose faster than women, which sucks. Our chiropractor said I needed to start exercising. So here we are.

@@ImprovedHealth I looked at some other videos, but I will continue on the one I’m currently doing until I can do them all without pain, if possible. In a few weeks, if the pain is still there, as I’ve had shoulder joint problems since I was 11, but my legs and back, I will try your next one up and slowly increase what I do and the speed. I tried that running in the chair last night, but it sent shooting pains up my leg that is sensitive and sore all over. I’m not sure it that will improve after permanent damage from my spinal surgery then the knee replacement that became infected. That hospitalisation put my recovery back worse than it was the day of the surgery. !

Another good one to do! I like that it is a beginner workout, but uses the water bottles! Some days, like today, I want to do a video for about 20 minutes, and want to feel I accomplished something without wearing myself out! I am enjoying doing your seated videos as time goes on ! Thank you so much. I appreciate that your exercises were slow as I have a fused back and had 2 knee replacements. The last one I got an infection and was hospitalised again after my first spinal surgery that failed I virtually couldn’t walk for a year. In the last 4 years my mobility has been so compromised by all 4 surgeries and recovery has ended up difficult. I feel worse in my body after all the surgeries and just want to get strength and mobility back and not have to continue to use a walker. I have looked at so many different exercises, but so many are way out of my reach. So I really appreciate that I was able to do the exercises even with my bad shoulders. I’m so very grateful to you for this exercise program.
I will be back everyday repeating these, thank you so much. I will check out all your other videos as my muscles and mobility improves 💜💜💜

@@ImprovedHealth yes I’m subscribed to that one too…I’m not quiet at those levels yet. I tried the running in the chair but it just sent pain shooting up my leg to my knee, the latest replacement knee that had an infection after 5 weeks. I have permanent nerve pain, swelling and that whole leg has been painful to touch since my first spinal surgery that went wrong. 💜

I am 73 yrs old..3 yrs ago i started swimming daily and walking in my garden and lost 6kg, thankfully. Then i developed a pronating arch..hence i could not exercise..gained 5kg..i decided to train twice a week with a personal trainer so that i dont hurt my foot.
I will follow your exercise session as an add on.

I really enjoyed the video of the chair 🪑 exercise…I have issues with my knees, shoulders,back and hip…but I was told by my doctor that I needed to start doing some exercises…this was very easy to follow…I will definitely be doing it again.😊
