Great review brother. I always enjoy the way you explain everything. I have been wanting one of these stands! Heard nothing but good!
Just watched this.they listened to you Clifton. I just ordered the pack system with the cold world. I understand being a 14 YEAR COMBAT marine veteran that things are the way they are and you cant get everything made in the best country ever.thank you for your service sir.IM A MARINE FOR LIFE.
Thanks for the great reviews!! Got my Goonie yesterday and couldn't be happier!! Oh!! Thanks for the discount code!!!
Yeah the cold word products are very expensive but they are great quality. Cody Dacquisto does a great job and handles customer service himself oftentimes. My first mobile stand was the xop vanish. Still the best budget lightweight stand out there. Can’t beat it. I still use my quarter turn locking sticks which are a little heavy but still excellent sticks. Looking to add these X2s in the near future.
Ehh buddy just a fyi Cody is no longer with xop. He took a job I believe to work with his dad. Thanks for watching!
Just saved 110.00 with ya discount code. Much love brother! Happy Hunting this season!!!
Good hunting!!! Come back and let us know how ya like it!
Does the stand come with backpack straps? Don’t see anything online, but one guy on a video said his came with some but wasn’t sure if that is standard.
Just ordered my coldworld , gamma and bow holder can't wait to get my hands on it. Thanks for the code saved some bucks 😊😊😊
Sweet man let me know what you think!
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors will do. BTW. Love your channel. Always look forward to your honest reviews
@@toddkeffer566 man thank you! And thank you for watching!
Hi Clifton! Got my cold world stand and love it . Tried it acouple of times here in Pennsylvania before the season starts on the 30th running it with my skelator sticks
You say the stand is rock solid, yet as you bounce on it, you can see the top bracket “bounce” away and back to the tree. A toe hook is designed to remove that play, just don’t toe hook a stand with the bottom strap attached. Toe hook and then attach strap and should be better.
Cool thanks
Thanks for the promo code. I just got a order in.
Sweet man! Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the discount code!!
You bet!
Great review. Looking to ditch my elevate to get my hands on one of these.
I’d wait until you see the video Monday😂🤣 that small lockon is 🔥
Cool, sell me the elevate !
Bought this on Black Friday deep discount. Just back from a 3 day E. Texas whitetail hunt, average amount of hiking it around (3-5 miles with it on my back total). Like the quality and the weight. The texture is killing me. Feels like it's going to rub a hole in any clothes it touches taking it in and out and cut/wear/fray out any gear hanging straps, the seat bungees and cam straps if they get too close. I read some guys are using sand paper to smooth it out, but that's like 60% of the surface area. Anyone else have the same issue? Have a good fix? Maybe it's not as bad as it seems. Can anyone with double digit mobile hunts with this stand let me know if it's really a problem or I'm just being paranoid. - Love the channel by the way, appreciate the no nonsense reviews.
Hey man, awesome review my only suggestion is I would get a quick attach. I just ordered that and I’ve heard all over social media but that is the way to go.
Ima have to check them out!
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors yeah after I heard about them I kind of went on a UA-cam binge
XOP is actually going to be releasing a super lightweight quick attach system for these new stands. Will also work on all the older XOP stands
@@technicsthewild2115 when
I’m definitely getting the stand but can’t decide on which backpack straps to get for it. The gamma ts doesn’t have the greatest reviews. What straps would you recommend?
I’ll have some videos going up next week of XOPS carrying systems.
Another great video. Just curious, are you still a climber guy or has the saddle or lock on taken first place in your arsenal?
I’m still a climber guy first! It’s hard for me to get away from it! With that being said, these new lock on’s are going to be a close second place my problem with lock on and saddles is that I just hate the fiddle factor of climbing sticks
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors
I agree with that. I own two light weight lock on’s and sticks and still reach for the Climber 95% of the time.
Great review, thanks for vid! I am getting ready to buy the whole system, but had a question about he pack/carrier....did you get the gamma ts with yours? If so, what size did you get and if you don't mind me asking how tall are you?
I’m 5/11 and no sir I used their old carrying system!
Btw that discount code will save you some cash
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors Will definitely be using the code! thanks!
What climber are you running? I’m starting to see I don’t like the fiddle factor with sticks and platform. I love my xop sticks I think it’s quality products
I run and old lone wolf hand climber rn until the new xop climber drops!
You killing the Reviews ,
like you kill the deer.
Great video!
Man thank you! And thanks for watching!
I looked at that this morning when I ordered my saddle/platgorm combo from XOP. Would have used your code, but got 15% off on combo pkg and would not let me add another promo. Think I am going to be a XOP fan (I hope).
And just drove through Arkansas on my way to Broken Bow. Saw a bunch of bucks and does while with the fam today. Made me want to be in the woods in NW Lousiaiana, but will be out tomorrow evening.
How does it compare to the xop vanish. As far as carrying and being overall comfortable. Is it worth double the price?
I think it depends on your style. It’s certainly not as heavy but both are great stands and equally comfortable!
How well does this stand bite to the tree with one strap? Solid?
It does bite very solid with one strap.
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors thanks for reply. Just ordered one!
Put it up at hunting height and show us getting up...on...and out safely.
What size boot do you have?
Size 12
W
You using this with a saddle set up?
Check out the retrograde video! It’s the one I’d use with a saddle set-up
Where did you get the j hooks at?
Xop website
You should keep all the straps on and then pack it I have trouble with it but it's doable lol if that's a word
I normally put the straps in my bag! I have to carry a bag for my camera gear.
how do i get one of those caps ? that’s sweet
Thank you!
onyourownoutdoors.com click on apperal you see the hats scroll through until you find the color you want!
Is it ok if I reference your channel when I do my XOP saddle videos so people can see your stuff and use the discount?
Absolutely or you can just use my discount code in your video I’m ok with that as well!
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors Thanks man. I used your code the other day and I just wanted to make sure it was ok to share it with my video. Keep up the great work.
@@WorkHuntDAD thank you! And need anything just let me know!
wish the price was lower $449 is way to much for me ; sure light weight and strong but that don't help if you can't pay for it
Complete understand that! However the comparable stands are close to 1k! Seems like everything is getting more and more expensive
Have you heard when XOP is releasing new climber?
It’s sounding a lot like January
🤤🤤🤤🤑🤑😢😢
If you can’t feel it wouldn’t it be the most comfortable? Lmao
Stand looks nice but...China. I just can't drop that kind of coin and support China if there is a US option available. Sometimes you can't avoid it but where possible I support America.
Understandable
