Anyone else find it funny how the armors in Oblivion or Morrowind cover the whole body, have sleeves, etc. when they're in a much more warmer climate than Skyrim, the coldest province on Tamriel, and Skyrim has armors that leave many parts of the body exposed, like wtf.
Well in skyrims defense they did make steel plate which covers mosts of the entire body as well as made ebony look like something from high level players
After completing the main Quet line you will get another quest; Pick up the Imperial Dragon Armor. You will need to wait 2 weeks then go to the Armory in the Prison District. Your new armor is on the table opposite the door. The Armour is heavy or light depending on your highest skill.

The heavy armor in Skyrim looked cooler in my opinion but the imperial armor is way cooler in Oblivion compared to all of the skyrims imperial light armors.
i first played when i was 12 and i didnt know fasttravel and "lost" in this game until lv 40 without even finish 30% of the game some play for achivment some for fun oblivion its the game that made me a gamer when you play from 7am and you suddenly realize its 6am..... cheaper and more fun then drugs

When I got the Imperial dragon armour and it was enchanted I threw it in the lake went to Ocato punched his face until he was unconscious killed a few imperial guards ate a poison apple and jumped into the elder council meeting room
@@prettyradhandle nah. You can't jump and shoot a bow at the same time in Skyrim. You can't have a 2 handed weapon AND cast magic in Skyrim. Oblivion has a lot more going for it.

Oblivion is the best elder scrolls game. The game really keeps me busy playing it on the xbox 360 :). It even beats, "online". Which is hated by fans of the previous titles because of the multiplayer and it being, "world of warcraft" for the xbox one, as a user on youtube said to me. I never played world of warcraft, so please don't think I did...but I do play oblivion, and I love the game. :D

Maybe its nostalgia but I do love a lot of Oblivions sets. Skyrim was a bit too edgy with some of its armor for my taste - oblivion has a nice balance of grounded designs that still look whimsical and fantasy

Ebony looks better in Oblivion. But it seems like they were planning for Skyrim to have dragons because of the dragon armor, and the dragonborn symbol on the door in this video at 1:48.
I never really cared much for alot of the armor and weapon designs in skyrim. I played Oblivion for the first time in the months leading up to Skryims release and I immediately thought that Oblivions armor and weapon designs were superior.
Don't know why he added the mythic dawn armor. It isn't technically in the game and available to you. U can only get it with mods or the command board on the pc version.
S3PT1M1 Frankly, the whole idea of "glass armor" is stupid. Especially since it's somehow the strongest. And how do Oblivion's armors suck? Iron, Steel, Orcish, Dwarven, Ebony, Blades, and Daedric were all pretty cool. Then Mithril looked neat for light armor, as did the DB armor. Chainmail was cool, and every guard's raiment looked nice. I personally liked the green glass armor because I liked pretending I was The Green Knight from the King Arthur stories. It's fun if you use your imagination a little. I really didn't think anything sucked. Just the lack of unique textures made it lacking compared to morrowind, which, if that's what you're trying to say, I agree with.
Ricky E the repetitiveness is a big part of why i didnt really like a bunch of armours, but in general i just felt the light armour/robes were severely lacking in decent options. it was always either theves or assasins, nothing else was really worth it, unless your role playing and for some reason decide you love playing through the entire game in leather. the heavy stuff you mentioned is quite nice however, i liked the heavy stuff
