Yeah, TES6 really needs to bring back the "Hunnic/mongol/samurai" -look of orcish armour. They're supposed to be master crafters, their armour should be incredibly well made, if not too intricate.

In oblivion I feel like the cuirass and greaves have a bit too much gold on it, the boots and gauntlets have a tasteful amount of gold trimming but the shield has more gold than ebony appearing on it.
The shame with skyrim's glass armor and weapons is that they look like someone chipped them with flint to make arrow heads rather than blown artfully crafted glass that would most likely be smooth with a shaved on edge. Stalhrim Armor (Skyrim), Bonus for Creation Club armors my favorites are Leather Armor as a light set, and Iron Armor for Heavy set.
My biggest problem with armour in Skyrim is the lack of sleeves like wtf is going on there coldest climate of the three games and the least amount of sleeves
Plays into the Nord racial benefit of Frost Resistance. It doesn't make sense for the other races, but it does for the region. Personally I think it would have been better with a sleeve/sleeveless option.

I really like ESO’s armor, and I also 100% respect you guys not mentioning it too much for this. It’s very difficult to compare. I will say my least favorite thing about ESO armor has to be all the crotch flaps…there are so many and they can be silly.
The crotch flaps and the inability to hide any armor piece or flap you want is so frustrating. I understand ZoS not wanting there to be players running around in their underwear, but that's already possible and there's certain outfits that are close enough to that as well.

Skyrim's Nordic and Stahlrim are my favorites. No reason why honestly... It just works
Glass armor is made from volcanic malachite, in ESO the buoyant armigers take claim to the Glass armor originally according to eso at least
I will rank of my favorite armor with only full sets, so single pieces of armor won't count. This will take two games into account Oblivion, and Skyrim.
My top 5 Light Armor sets:
1. Amber Armor(Oblivion),
2. Mithril Armor (Oblivion),
3. Dragonscale Armor (Skyrim),
4. Glass Armor (Oblivion),
5. Shrouded Armor female version (Skyrim),
My top 5 Heavy Armor sets:
1. Deadric Armor (Skyrim),
2. Ancient Nord Armor female version (Skyrim),
3. Blackwood Armor (Oblivion),
4. Imperial Dragon Armor (Oblivion)
5. Stalhrim Armor (Skyrim),
Bonus for Creation Club armors my favorites are Leather Armor as a light set, and Iron Armor for Heavy set.
Skyrim Armor is for the Nords.
@@joshuatayloe8616 true I just think sleeveless armour is silly your arms are going to get hit in a fight
*"Clearly, the Aldmeri of Nirn produces the most beautifully crafted arms and armor Tamriel has ever had the glory to set their eyes upon in battle. Simultaneously intimidating and inspiring our foes with our Elven magnificence."*
I don’t know about that. It doesn’t seem to do too great a job of stopping my war axe
@@owenhalloran3111
I dunno. The 3rd Dominion ran through the Imperial Legions for like, 85% of the War 😅
@@thalmoragent9344 Haha Redguards go curved swords
I love morrowind's imperial dragon scale. Because it looks like imperial made and they give up their aesthetics and style even when working with dragon parts.
Chitin armor (both light and heavy) from Skyrim are my favorite, playing as a spellsword or a crossbowman in those feels rly nice
wow that is NOT what I imagined Fudgemuppet looked like lol
In my opinion the later eso motifs and styles are just leagues cooler then anything in Skyrim like the apostle and eso’s interpretation of dunmer styles are just so sick
Y’all are high if y’all think Oblivions Deadric armor looks better than Skyrim’s. Skyrims’ looks the best, with Morrowind following, and Oblivion last because it’s helmet look like a bucket with spikes.
Opinions
I love Oblivion's jolly rancher glass set.
I like the pulsing glow effect on Skyrim's daederic set.
I also think you shoupd have included the Skyrim imperial variants since you included variants of sets for Morrowind.
Bruh, skyrim leather armor is much better than oblivions
Why do I feel like Scott looks like a khajiit drew a nord and michael a dunmer 😂
Drew and Michael are so chill… I think Scott might need to turn down his mic sensitivity 😂
I really disagree with the idea that armour looks better in tight wrap. It's more historically accurate and imo better looking to have some padding.
In terms of appearance without mods, Ebony Armor from Skyrim is probably the best looking Armor in all of TES
ebony plate from blades looks better imo
I know this is 8 months ago but now that there is sky rim equivalent to some of those armors I think there is more reason to revisit this
Scott: Breton
Drew: Nord
Michael: Imperial
You’re amazing…all of you 😊 Happy new year, stay safe 😘🤗
This came at the perfect time. I’ve been struggling with some things recently and these help take my mind off it for a while. Keep up the great work guys and thanks for everything you do!!
Daedric armor in skyrim is my personal favorite in the series modded or without I dunno it looks badass and iconic
honestly, i find that i universally love oblivion's designs the most - except for the helmets which i find to be by far the worst, with morrowind and skyrim being roughly even in that aspect imo
I agree except Morrowind is clearly better than skyrim to me unless you count creation club
The Redoran watchman helmet has to be my favourite helm but I also used the gondola helm in morrowind too
The Morrowind Cope. If I get to pretend any armor looks as good as I want to, then obviously that armor will win.
Eso armors looks like 3d printed rubber armor
Missed you Muppet! Glad I caught this one!
I want to recolor the Dragonscale blue, and add a fortify speed enchant to it.
If I had to guess: I'd being willing 2 bet the whole of my withered, left epididymus, that ALL 3 of these gentlemen have a(n) extensive collection of polyester 👕s; featuring arbitrary (and in some cases moderately pretentious) Kanji. Saved and ironed, of course, for dates, rendezvous, and special occasions of the like.
*huffs fart*
The Divine Crusader armor left an impression on me as a child that will last the rest of my life.
ESO styles next! It'll be an endless series! ;)
Here for the Ecliptor comparison!
ESO has, by far, the best Dark Brotherhood armor
Scott: Skyrim's Daedric Armor reminds me of Ecliptor.
Thanks; now I need to have a witch character that looks like Astronema.
