Awesome results! I've been running the VP racing fuel octane booster and it gave me that extra octane for a tad more boost, but it did turn my spark plugs red and I'm sure the O2 sensors would have some of that coloring as well, if I pulled them. Noticed the car had a slight hesitated in high rpm situations. Not sure if it is intact fouling the plugs, or if it was just me. I've been told there are no negative effects on performance and it's just me, but I've opted to swap to a smaller pulley and straight 93 until I make the jump to e85. Curious if this has the same additives that turn your plugs red.. Hopefully, you can give us some feed back!

Nice. I use it on my Volkswagen with a 93 octane tune. The tune is quite aggressive. And you can occasionally hear a little spark knock if you pump some crappy 93. So in hot weather I add some boostane to bring it up to 97 for insurance. I was using race gas additive. But the boostane premium is it better value. It's like 30% cheaper to achieve the same amount of gallons of 97.

Yep. Joey is a pretty cool guy. Very knowledgeable. I will be mixing a half a can of boostane in 5 gallon jugs of of 93 octane shell V power just to make sure i am accurate on mixing.

I run this stuff with my 2018 mustang gt on 93oct because I don't have e85 nearby and I get near E85 timing with my tune. This stuff is gold and I've been using it for years. It's my little secret while running on pump gas. It's real nice when you're tuned for it.

check your sparkplug after using boostane or other related product. on my srt-4 i got some missfire after some time using this and after pulling the spark plug they where rusted and someone i know got full level unit problem on is sc mustang

Thoughts? I ran too much octane booster with MMT in it and all of my plugs turned orange, I'm assuming the top of my pistons and the bottom of my valves all orange! Can I just run premium unleaded and will this shit all burn off?? What ya think?
Put the octane booster in before you fill up the car next fun it will help mix it up faster so you don’t have to drive around
Ted Galligan you arrbso right. I wanted to simulate what has happen to me a couple of times already. Full tank of gas, the weather clears up and i want to go to the drag strip. What should i do? Drive around for 2 hour, or just add Boostane and head to the track. It actually mixed in about 10 minutes.
One could also have some lunch or keep occupied with something, while the octane booster spreads and mixes throughout with the rest of the fuel inside the tank.
Best would be, with low gas levels, put all contents in before filling up.
Becareful when using additives, cleaners, and so on. Read and follow instructions on product
Consult owners manual before using such products, usage of certain products might / can / will, void car warranty.

I have put octane booster in my Camaro over the years and I put it in right before I fill the car up that way when I’m filling it up the fuel mixes it.

Can't compare apples to apples here. The only fair comparison would be vs. the Sunoco and VP since they were used with the race PCM. An almost 23 HP gain is still impressive over the other two race fuels. Keep doing what you're doing . Love the channel. You need to be at 500k subs.

Damn their slogan was right power in a bottle, yes using that makes a lot sense instead changing out gas types all the time and the dyno showed it works, so good deal. Plus damn that car is a beast, love the sound of that Hemi roaring and that supercharger whine!! Great video and can't wait to see that thing tearing up the track!!

Just so I understand cause I might wanna use this for fun in my HC charger. So you fill up your tank with 93 octane. Add a can and a half of the boostane is it’s like you’re running race fuel? Dang that’s also gonna save you a lot of money at the pump. So you won’t use the Sunoco race fuel anymore right?
What octane is your hell cat Charger tuned for. The Demon is tuned for 93 octane and 100 octane with a push of a button. I have a 55 gallon barrel of sunoco GT 260

You should do the before and after numbers on the same day back to back as soon as the Boostane mixes instead of comparing numbers based on different days due to temperature, humidity, and other misc. factors that can make 30-50- HP difference as I've learned doing my supercharged 2012 392...on my channel I've done before and after supercharger and CAI videos.

Not very often a boost product comes even close to what they advertise. I think you have done a lot for other people wanting to be able to get the higher octane fuel without paying outrageous prices. No need for driving around with a 55 gallon drum strapped to your roof. Nicely done, I hope your dragstrip times are proof positive too.

The reason his car responded so well to the octane boost is cuz his cars computer can see that he has boosted it to a higher octane and can adjust the tune on the fly. I'm really impressed by what Dodge did with that car. That system is very advanced and something you would see in a Nissan GT-R or something.
Best stuff I have found is VP Octanium. Best value is Lucas Oil octane booster, the worst stuff is STP and Gumout. Torco, Royal Purple and Boostane are good too

from my understanding the spark plug life will be shortened by 20 percent. so instead of 100 thousand miles, 80 thousand miles. i plan on changing my plugs and coils about 2 time a year because of the beating they take when racing.

Yes, you are right. I did it back wards. Wanted to show if i got caught with gas in the tank and didnt want to drive it out or bleed the tank to add race fuel. I didnt explain that to good

Torch accelerator is another good one I used this in my cobra until I stared using water/methanol injection
very nice car and i just wanted to suggest if you put the booster in at the gas station before you fill up it will do a lot of the mixing for you so it wont take as long to get it happening anyway man Love the DEMON such a awesome car your a lucky man to own one like you vids too

I Once Overheard A Former Mgr.of QT Admit That Their Content of ETHANOLS Is Sometimes Even Larger Than 10%>Ethanol Is Only A FILLER That Gas Comps.Try To Tell Us It's A Cleaner,When Only Purpose it Serves ,Especially in Amts.Over 10% is It Gums Up Ur Fuel System if Ur Car Isn' t Made to Run High Ethanol Fuels.

Yes, you will need things. A better prepped track, and sticky drag radials. Find out what your local drag racers are using on same car and specs. Most of the times they already have it figured out. Good question.
