    I've been using boostane for 2 years now since I live in the north country where 91 octane is the best you can get and always have consistent great results with boostane in the tank. Never any knock issues.
    Nice to see Michelle in the videos with her Focus!!! 😊 Thanks Michelle 😘
    Looking forward to bringing my 14 horse down to the ranch in January!!!

    This stuff works. I have a 93 tune and then I have a 99 Octane tune which I use .41 ounces of the Marine version of this per gallon of gas to get it. I'm able to run 5 degrees more timing with the boostane than with 93 pump alone.

    Boostane definitely works the only thing I hated was it wasn't any way to really measure out the amount you wanted to use but still compared to pulling around big drums of vp racing fuel or sunoco drums of racing fuel this was ten times more convenient

    I was on my 3rd engine in 5k miles and 1k miles each engine for break in...on my 2019 Premium GT with 50 Stage Legal Supercharger...
    Till I invested in Boostane...I personally refill Shots with my professional...8 4oz containers( per 32oz professional bottle), I grab one if I know I'm going to the station pour in, drive 2 miles fill up....I keep a sealed shot in the trunk in case I need it out or on trips...
    6k miles on this engine zero issues...the 12 to 1 compression Gen 3 Coyote stays happy often adding an average of 5 degrees pegging the capped timing of 18 degrees during a run, even in dead of summer....
    I look at it like Meth injecton on my other car, its Water/Meth in a can....keeps the engine happy making 700whp on 93 and 4oz of boostane without a hiccup...I wish it cost less for me but its way cheaper than the 2 long blocks put in the car or even the depreciation from that on my carfax..
    Me and my Gen 3 coyote are believers...now to add some to the old F1A-94 procharged BBC in the 67 Camaro and see how she likes it....

      Hey Tommy, Boostane is safe to run per the mixing instructions on the back. We would recommend running it in the lightest mix with a vehicle that doesn't have a tune specifically for it, as it will stabilize the fuel and give you a bump in octane without wasting any of the product.

      It will leave an orange deposit on the plugs over time, But I suspect you may have used too much. I have been using 6oz of professional on 13-14gal of 93 in my Gen3 powered Roush for well over a year on the same plugs.

    • @brendantuomey3910
      @brendantuomey3910 3 роки тому

      That could be true I poured the whole bottle in. Following the mixing chart I thought it would put me around 103 octane. I wasn't aware you could put "too much" in. Doesn't say anything about that on the website

    • @VMPPerformanceTV
      @VMPPerformanceTV  3 роки тому +1

      There definitely is such thing as too much and that's why we had Ian go into detail aboit what each product is specifically for as well as discuss the mixing. It's also part of the joke in the beginning where Chuck asks if you can run a car purely on Boostane. We would recommend using specific measured amounts based on your goals. With a basic street car that's set up for 93, 98-100 octane is enough without a custom tune, and even then, if your tune isn't set up to allow for additional timing, it'd be best to discuss it with your tuner first.

    Approximately how much octane
    I will get in one premium bottle?

    • @VMPPerformanceTV
      @VMPPerformanceTV  7 місяців тому

      Hey there. A single 16oz bottle of Premium into 15 gallons would net you just shy of 100 octane. It's important that if you're going to be mixing that much, that the vehicle is set up for it. Otherwise, you're mixing in a bunch of octane that you're vehicle is not using and wasting product.
      Here's Boostane's killer mixing chart for reference: boostane.com/pages/boostane-mixing-chart?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAvoqsBhB9EiwA9XTWGfpBwZAPNIijAwW8YrLSRSIoGTniUUAYry5dXwf3dxI2f_iKL0soIxoC80cQAvD_BwE

    • @VMPPerformanceTV
      @VMPPerformanceTV  2 роки тому

      Boostane can be mixed as a light additive or as a full on octane booster to lift the base octane of your pump fuel. You would follow the chart listed on their website or on the bottles themselves to mix to a specific octane and then tune accordingly. In late model Coyote engine applications, we like a small amount to ensure fuel quality but would require a tune for more aggressive additive mixes.
