If you didn’t add timing maybe the 91 was setting off the knock sensors and pulling timing and the boostane allowed it to get the full potential in stock form if they didn’t add timing in the tune
Does this car automatically sense the octane level of the fuel? I use Boostane in my supercharged truck but I only mix it to 99 Octane (.41 ounces per gallon of 93 pump gas) and I'm able to run 5 more degrees of timing with boostane than without, make a 70HP difference...about 10% increase.

This is also a duyno jet too. I bet off axels the power increase would be more
So how much more timing did they add because without timing it won’t make more
Don't most modern ECUs adjust timing automatically dependent on engine knock sensors?
Uh...it goes in a almost empty tank not full, damn guys read the instructions.
