Hey Guy’s Thank You So Much for Taking the Time to Make This video. I Bought This Scanner This Past Winter to Do Some Needed Car Repairs in My Garage and I Was Looking Forward to Using It, but When It Arrived I Found Myself a Little Intimidated by It to Start Using It right away, but Now, After Watching You’re Video About How to Use It I Feel a Lot More Comfortable to try it out, as a Matter of Fact I’m Going to Try It Out Right Now. Thanks Again.
I just bought one of these to bleed my brakes after I disconnected the brake master cylinder. Thank you for going over the very procedure that I am going to complete.
@therockkkkher oh man, I am still trying to figure that out. I sent back the scan tool, just to buy 3 more more expensive than the last. This tool would not work on.my car to bleed the brakes. Although I'm not a certified mechanic, so......... maybe bleeding is not my issue. It could be the something that was cause by me removing the brake master cylinder and not reinstalling it properly. I dont know......
@therockkkkher I ended up getting an Autel 906bt which retails at $1,795 and spent an hour all together on the phone with Autel customer service over several days and had email correspondence with the techs from China over a course of a couple weeks 2 solve my issue to no avail. I have other cars to drive right now so I'm not that worried about it, I am but, not immediately
Cheers guys, one of the best channels on utube, great explaining, just bought a Fox for my R171 M272 3.5Petrol auto that I bought in April, luv the channel guys and Thanx a million 👍
Thanks for the review. Been shopping for a scanner to diagnose an airbag light. This seems to be the one in this price range that offers ABS bleeding (a real plus). Your demo of the airbag scanning and ABS bleeding was helpful. I'll probably get a Foxwell.
@@maciej.matt-pack.paczka Yes, I bought a Foxwell scan tool. I'm satisfied with it. I used it to diagnose a fault in my air bag wiring and reset the airbag light. I also loaned it to a friend who had an airbag light. He used it to clear the codes and reset the light. I also used it to diagnose a bad EGR valve. It works well. I think it is a good value for the money.
Thanks! I have the PLUS version and so far I wasn't able to get to the ABS functions. Their menu seems to be a bit confusing but I'm going to give it another try now.
So this is how it went: my menu is structured totally differently but I was able to find ABS > Live Data. However, there was still no Bleeding under ABS. I went back to the beginning of the menu and managed to trick the scanner to think the car is a Ford Fusion (which it shares many parts with). I got to the point where it prompts me to step on the brake and hit OK, at this point it said "no communication". :-(
Did you first have to do an update on the scanner by downloading for your particular vehicle or does the scanner come preloaded with all vehicles data?
Consigo fazer a troca do fluido de freio usar esse scanner automotivo foxwell nt630? Ele consegue acionar a bomba do ABS para retirar todo o fluido velho ? se ele dá certo para fazer isso me fala qual é a opção 👍 obrigado
Thanks for the upload. After watching your reader useing the Creader 3008 and now watching this one with the NT630, not sire which one os best for me. There arent many videos on here that goes all into details aboit what all live data will show with both. I did see where you showed with the Creader 3008 that it showed the temperature of the cats and all. Does the NT630 show that as well? I'm getting a P0305 code and just trying to trace ot down myself before just paying someone to fix a easy fix. Their isn't much of a difference between the two but not sure which one os the best. Thanks
Hi thank you for your amazing video, I have a question for you, I need to by a diagnostic tool that does also airbags, which one is best nt630plus or innova 6200p?
Hello! I have doubts about the ABS module intake valve calibration procedure. can you help me ? as soon as I start the procedure, I apply the brake to 140bar of pressure as requested but nothing happens. what is the correct step by step of this calibration?
Great video. Would you know what the difference is between this NT630 model and the NT644 Elite model? Is the NT644 worth the extra money? Thanks very much. Philip NYC Area
I must be missing something here. Do I need to update my brand-new scanner? My screen is white with black TINY letters and I can barely read what's the 411.
Dude, you are really missing out on a lucrative career as a voice-over for cartoon characters. Man, if they did another Muppets take Manhatten, you'd be gold!
Hi, I want to buy the OEM ambient lighting for the Ford fiesta but I don't know how to install it. My version is the S (I'm in Mexico). But it has the holes for the projectors for pilot and passenger. I don't know if you can help me to know the fuses or if the wiring already comes.
Does anyone now how foxwell means when saying during bleeding: Open bleedscrew pump 10 times and close bleedscrew. Can it be possible tp have bleedingscrew open and pump? Will it not draw air into system?
have the same Scan tool. It will communicate with the ECM on my Dodge Ram to read OBD II codes, but it will not communicate with any other modules like the ABS or SRS. It says I need to connect with the Chrysler CCD adapter. Anyone out there have any first hand experience with this?
Did not work for an ABS brake bleed for my 2000 Chevy Express 1500 Van. Seems to be a nice product but doesn’t work with my model for that particular function.
Abs circuits are normally closed. You only need to bleed them if you change the abs unit. The scan tool opens the circuits and runs the pump/motor to bleed the air out of the abs. You still have to do a manual bleed.
@@fryloc359 We have a 03 Park Ave been trying to get brakes straightened up on but we have done everything next step will be 1000.00 on new module n pump.
This unit is going to make bleeding brakes a breeze. People do not realize now days that the ABS system MUST be bled when replacing the master brake cylinder. This tool is worth its weight in the money spent on it. Just being able to scan engine codes will save you money.
Do NOT buy Foxwell! Poor support. My NT630 Elite was great tool for 2012 Hyundai airbag diagnosis and repair but now I have a 2020 Nissan. With latest firmware software updates I get "Unable to communicate" for SRS and ABS modules. Regular OBD2 is good. Latest year supported is 2016. I contacted Foxwell customer support and got reply that new cars are not supported and I should buy NT630 Plus. So lifetime support means no support once a new model is released.
This scanner does not work in AUSTRALIA. It may be fine and do as it claims in the US and other countries but is a total waste of time and money over here. I purchased one, downloaded the latest updates but they simply are not compatible with vehicles sold on The Australian market. All vehicles here sold and manufactured after 2005 are OBD2 compliant. Australia comes under the Asian market but is not included in the Foxwell database of countries.
