Your gonna blow up bro. Your onto something with these pro trick break downs. Somehow never really thought to just attempt tricks the same exact way as someone who does it amazingly. Always figured I'll just naturally learn it a certain way but I think at least having the insight and a basis to compare to can be really helpful. Gonna try these tips out next time I skate. Keep shredding
Dude...best skatechanel on UA-cam..easy... keep it up! Your stuff already made me a better skater. I am 40 and restarted a few years ago. As old skater learning new stuff you gotta see it from the science side. There is no forcing trucks in that age .
Step 4 put your weight on your front foot to stop any accidental big flip. Also don't be afraid to suck your knees up after you pop, you will spend more time in the air and have a better chance to catch your tricks
Dang dude everytime i see a new video of yours you are new and improved. Your bigspins are looking smooth, i think that tip of jumping before you pop will help mine out hopefully. Thanks for the content peace!
i know i've already commented on your other skate hack videos but these pro skater hacks videos are so useful, especially that tip about the backfoot being closer to the backbolts
Get good nollies and learn how to really level them out,and maybe watch some kickflip tutorials cause it's the exact same trick just nollie, the technique is the same
Well done brother, thanks for the advice. Maybe you already have done a video about it, sorry if I'm wrong. I Expect you've already twisted your ancle while skateboarding.. maybe more than once. So what I'm trying to say, I twisted my ancle really bad about 6 weeks ago, was in hospital for xray and so on, doctors couldnt find anything but streched bands. How'd you handle bad ancle twists and do you have any tips for getting back on board except waiting for it to get better eventually? what can you actively do to get it better.
I'm having the same problem as the one in your attempt in 2:09. My front foot can land near the bolts at the tail side but my back foot can't land. Having a hard time with this 😢
Notice his toes are all on the board so it doesn’t flip. Also don’t put too much effort into it. Keep that back foot low until you feel the front foot catch and then just put it on.
Lol i use to think this trick is hard but well is just pop a shuv but lik u do a ollie no scoop abd then the 180 both in the same motion and thats all u got it🤣 Is really easy and cool af trick
This is the third video youve made covering Chris Joslin either teaching you, or going over his hack for this trick. Why are you starting to become very repetitive and recycle your old content but now label it all as "hacks"?
There’s a few reasons. 1 I learn something new about the trick. 2 I want to reformat it to reach a bigger audience 3 I want to dedicate a session to work on a specific trick. I understand it’s repetitive and get you might not want to watch it but I do have reason behind it.
@@localjoe Its become very repetitive, as in looking at your videos, the word "hack" has come up in the title or thumbnail in 19 videos over the last 5 months. And comparing the majority of videos that have "secret/ technique" in the title/thumbnail, the hack videos have seemed to do far better to generate views, but dont talk about how they're hacks within the video at all. (Unless ive miscounted) there's been: 8 different videos going over kickflips (3 are nyjah videos, 1 goes over how to kickflip higher and 2 go over how he flicks, all are covered in all 3 videos to a degree) 7 different 360flip videos (1 in how nyjah taught you to do it in 1hr, the newest one covers how to fix it in 30min) 4 "(name here) taught me how to fs tailslide" videos 2 backside 360 videos with louie lopez I wanted to add videos going over crooks, but i think i made my point The reason i bring this comment up is because you replied you have a bigger audience now, which is great as ive stated before, i dont hate that you're trying to help people and bring a new perspective to dissecting tricks, but just as it is when it comes to a business (as youve said you'd like to be able to have your channel be what you can live off of in a previous Q&A video), the best ratio is 80% regulars and 20% new people. And i know with trying different key words to draw in people, "hack" seems to be the go-to, but in two community posts "who's kickflip to cover next?/how many videos per week)", i know ive been the most vocal but others have started mentioning the repetitive videos and that seeing hacks doesnt interest them. I dont write this as a means of being mean or not wanting to see you succeed, but to give constructive criticism and to ask if this is considered sustainable as your channel continues to grow and keep repeating previous content for the new subs vs referencing in community posts/end of videos that lots of videos already cover what many ask for, to both boost those video's views and give you time to make more videos of greater quality vs just more quantity, this way the effort that would go toward remaking previously discussed content is put toward something new.

Short and sweet video🙌🙌

Perserverence -the true essence of skateboarding, keep it man!
Most useful trick breakdowns on utube
Great Analysis
what also helps with any bs trick especially bigspin is the head turn. very weird to explain but it helps make the turn easier
I like how you get to the point fast and don’t waste time💯
Step 4 put your weight on your front foot to stop any accidental big flip. Also don't be afraid to suck your knees up after you pop, you will spend more time in the air and have a better chance to catch your tricks
Great tip and video!
The jump before pop tip seems hella useful

Much love and respect to you and your channel. I hope that all is well for you and your family and friends.
Yess bro this is what I do to learn tricks I just mimick whatever someone else does
Every video you post is an instant click. Learned treflips last session.
i know i've already commented on your other skate hack videos but these pro skater hacks videos are so useful, especially that tip about the backfoot being closer to the backbolts
Update: i tried it and got some close ones but still needs a lot of work to clean it up. ua-cam.com/video/3kEf_GEF3Ww/v-deo.html
Proper on all levels!
i struggle with this trick so much, ima try this when i skate later
worked ?
That puddle of water would mess with me so much 😂. This is definitely a trick I need to practice! Thanks g.
I want your treflip!
Love all the vids man keep it up!
I have this trick time ago and now i recovered them, so good joe.
I really appreciate if u can do a tutorial for a frontside bigspin
Coming soon!

Sorry for my Bad english im from germany 🙈

Crazy for yeas i was trying bigger spins on flat thinking they were big spins no wonder i struggled
good skating and very solid content
I am having serious issues popping my bs bigspins, I will try this and see if it helps. Great video man!
Can you do a easy hack for nollie flips
eh if I figure them out I will but I'm pretty far from switch flip tricks...
Pop then flick. This helped me get them break them down and get them.
Get good nollies and learn how to really level them out,and maybe watch some kickflip tutorials cause it's the exact same trick just nollie, the technique is the same
i really like these videos! :) keep it up
loooove the video.
Well done brother, thanks for the advice.

W vid tbh
And I need both front and back tail can you do Tj rogers?
Front Tail is on my mind!
I need to know, is your body weight on the back or front foot and are you leaning back or forward
Starts on the front foot when I crouch down but kind shifts back towards my bolts before I pop
for how long have you been skating?
I'm having the same problem as the one in your attempt in 2:09. My front foot can land near the bolts at the tail side but my back foot can't land. Having a hard time with this 😢
Bs bigspins lookin proper!
keep it up
Where do you buy your beanies from?
Think of it as a 360 shuv body varial rather than a shuv 180 so you can get a full rotation
explaining chris joslins bigspin with footage of him explaining how to bigspin
That looks like the new Ivins skate park
This trick always throws me for a loop
Thank you for what you do and your contribution to UA-cam and skateboarding.
🔥
Gotta love the little puddles from the night before. Utah is so bipolar
❤❤❤
Ay I was in the back ground
👍👍👍👍👍👍

Is really easy and cool af trick
I hope that all is well for everyone reading this comment.
3:44 extra hard mode
the best hack is to master back 180s first
then keep that vibe in your head

2 backside 360 videos with louie lopez
I wanted to add videos going over crooks, but i think i made my point
The reason i bring this comment up is because you replied you have a bigger audience now, which is great as ive stated before, i dont hate that you're trying to help people and bring a new perspective to dissecting tricks, but just as it is when it comes to a business (as youve said you'd like to be able to have your channel be what you can live off of in a previous Q&A video), the best ratio is 80% regulars and 20% new people.
