I always get the silenced Deacon pistol from Burke even though he tries to kill you because you can shoot all day with a silencer and not alert the police. Sure you can only get headshots with a .22 but it's stupid easy with a handgun and all the full auto weapons are crap with only 2 mags of ammo

Even if many people don't like Mafia 3, I really did enjoy it. Having full control of the tank that is Lincoln was just so satisfying. The brutal takedowns, the shooting, the car customization, the DLCs are also some of the reasons why I enjoyed this game.

They just watched that one Crowbcat video from 2016 and judge it forever based on that. Or they complain it’s too repetitive even though these are the same guys that play COD every night on the same maps with the same guns. Ghost Recon: Wildlands was repetitive, using a very similar mission structure, but didn’t receive a fraction of the same critique. So if you enjoy the task you’re repeating - it’s a non-issue. The repetitive mechanic in Mafia III is simply causing enough damage to a racket to spawn the main mission. You can easily speed this process up by doing tasks that cause more damage, naturally. The larger the icon on the map, the more damage it does to a racket. It’s that simple. Mafia III is super underrated despite its flaws.
Such a beautiful world, I genuinely enjoyed going from one point to another because New Bordeaux looked very lively. It's a shame the gameplay and mission variety dragged it down so much.
