I'm 70 and I do wear lexan prescription glasses and gloves, but a hard hat won't keep you from getting your skull crushed. A Stihl 026 with a 24 inch bar and I've dropped beetle killed old growth pines 36 inches at the butt and 192 growth rings. I do like having a Case 570 bucket for insurance when felling.

Thanks to your videos you inspired me to start restoring old axe heads and making helves like they did 100 plus years ago. As you already know there is big difference in the strength when that handle follows the grain vs it being cut on a bandsaw. Wish I could drop you a load of Osage Butts. Boy does that stuff burn hot.
